Religion is a part of a fundamental human right to serve and worship their God according to their religion and belief. Mobile game application along with the development of mobile phone technology such as a smartphone, tablet, and laptop, can be used to increase the player or user interest to engage with religion thing. Using the mobile game application in mobile gadgets will expand quickly to install and use for religion engagement. The player can learn religion things with fun and entertain ways, where the player does not realize that they do something serious in an unserious way. This paper will explain the model system design for mobile game application for learning Catholicism in fun and entertaining way and for the first development was limited to only three Catholic catechisms such as bible learning, church lesson, and liturgy celebration. For the early development, three types of games were developed such as True or False game, Scramble words game, and multiple-choice game. The mobile game model was designed with a use case diagram, storyboard, and class diagram, where for the current implementation the mobile game application was implemented using a ten tables database.

To explore the possibilities of a near-term intermediate-scale quantum algorithm and long-term fault-tolerant quantum computing, a fast and versatile quantum circuit simulator is needed. Here, we introduce Qulacs, a fast simulator for quantum circuits intended for research purpose. We show the main concepts of Qulacs, explain how to use its features via examples, describe numerical techniques to speed-up simulation, and demonstrate its performance with numerical benchmarks. © 2020, CC BY.

Candidate cis-regulatory elements (cCREs) in microglia demonstrate the most substantial enrichment for Alzheimer’s disease (AD) heritability compared to other brain cell types. However, whether and how these genome-wide association studies (GWAS) variants contribute to AD remain elusive. Here we prioritize 308 previously unreported AD risk variants at 181 cCREs by integrating genetic information with microglia-specific 3D epigenome annotation. We further establish the link between functional variants and target genes by single-cell CRISPRi screening in microglia. In addition, we show that AD variants exhibit allelic imbalance on target gene expression. In particular, rs7922621 is the effective variant in controlling TSPAN14 expression among other nominated variants in the same cCRE and exerts multiple physiological effects including reduced cell surface ADAM10 and altered soluble TREM2 (sTREM2) shedding. Our work represents a systematic approach to prioritize and characterize AD-associated variants and provides a roadmap for advancing genetic association to experimentally validated cell-type-specific phenotypes and mechanisms. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature America, Inc.

The goal of this work is the accurate prediction of millimeter-wave received power leveraging both radio frequency (RF) signals and heterogeneous visual data from multiple distributed cameras, in a communication and energy-efficient manner while preserving data privacy. To this end, firstly focusing on data privacy, we propose heteromodal split learning with feature aggregation (HetSLAgg) that splits neural network (NN) models into camera-side and base station (BS)-side segments. The BS-side NN segment fuses RF signals and uploaded image features without collecting raw images. However, the usage of multiple visual data leads to an increase in NN input dimensions, which gives rise to additional communication and energy costs. To overcome additional communication and energy costs due to image interpolation to blend different frame rates, we propose a novel BS-side manifold mixup technique that offloads the interpolation operations from cameras to a BS. Subsequently, we confront energy costs for operating a larger size of the BS-side NN segment due to concatenating image features across cameras and propose an energy-efficient aggregation method. This is done via a linear combination of image features instead of concatenating them, where the NN size is independent of the number of cameras. Comprehensive test-bed experiments with measured channels demonstrate that HetSLAgg reduces the prediction error by 44% compared to a baseline leveraging only RF received power. Moreover, the experiments show that the designed HetSLAgg achieves over 20% gains in terms of communication and energy cost reduction compared to several baseline designs within at most 1% of accuracy loss. Two-dimensional (2D) graphene-like materials have attracted tremendous interest due to their remarkable properties in nanoelectronics. To understand and characterize the various physical properties of silicane relevant to optoelectronic and battery applications, various characteristics of 2D silicane Si2H2 are investigated using the density-functional theory. It is disclosed that the structure of 2D Si2H2 is stable, which corroborates its experimental feasibility based on the computational outcomes. With absorption coefficients of about 73.08 (104/cm) and 158.86 (104/cm) at 7.63 eV and 7.66 eV, respectively, it is pertinent to optoelectronic devices. 2D silicane is an exemplary K anodic material, owing to its lesser average open-circuit voltage (OCV) (0.23) and superior theoretical capacity (506 mAhg-1). Afterward, we procured the lowest activation barrier (40 meV) for K migration, which implies the swift charge/discharge mechanism for potassium ion batteries (PIBs). These concomitant findings reinforce the pertinence of silicane material in solar and K anodic utilizations. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

A complex product can be described in terms of its product architecture. There are two product architectures: integral and modular. Advantages of modular products have been noted in the literature. Maximizing modularity is a critical issue in modular product design. In this study, a polynomial approximation algorithm with a 0.422 approximation ratio is proposed to find hidden modules. It is observed that better modularity can be achieved when the product is partitioned into 3 to 8 modules. Numerical experiments with applications in the products of bicycle, starter, and fruit chute system are conducted to illustrate the developed algorithm. Performance of the algorithm is demonstrated by comparisons with other well-known algorithms.

The timing, rate, and magnitude of rapid sea-level rise during Meltwater Pulse 1B (MWP-1B, ~11.45-11.1 ka) remain controversial. Robust constraints on past MWPs are crucial to future predictions of global ice sheet instability. Using 154 new and existing U/Th and calibrated C-AMS dates from coral, algae, and microbialites recovered during Integrated Ocean Drilling program Expedition 325, this study reconstructs reef development and relative sea-level (RSL) rise on the Great Barrier Reef (GBR). We identify 107 in situ RSL index points while refining estimates of vertical accretion and paleowater depth. Results show RSL rise during MWP-1B did not exceed 10.2-7.7 m or rates of 30-23 mm/yr, and was likely less. The GBR did not drown, indicating resilience to MWP-1B. These findings are more consistent with Tahiti and other Pacific records and do not support the Barbados record of MWP-1B as an abrupt step in global sea level, with a magnitude > 11 m.

Systematic literature review on physical distancing policy for mass gathering events

The explosive spread of Corona Virus Disease-19 (COVID-19) in late December 2019, requires the health authorities worldwide to enforced stricter standard operating procedures (SOP) for mass gathering events, which eventually caused postponement and cancellation. This has led to a great loss and bankruptcy for most event organizers. As an effort to offer solution to this matter, a professional touch producing “soft landing” such as “Mathematical Modelling of Physical Distancing Policy for Mass Gathering Event Organizer” was proposed. Therefore, a holistic understanding about the issues related to physical distancing in mass gathering event is required. This systematic review paper summarizes current practice of physical distancing among mass gathering event organizers. This study reviewed thirteen articles using two leading databases namely Scopus and Google Scholar. Based on thematic analysis, this review finalized four themes: 1) physical distancing method; 2) the importance of physical distancing; 3) challenges in physical distancing enforcement and 4) approach to monitor the compliance of physical distancing.
