This paper investigates practical distance-based formation stabilization and tracking issues for nonholonomic multi-agent systems (MASs). Firstly, the agent’s nonholonomic kinematics is represented as a left invariant system on a Lie group. Through the introduction of an auxiliary state and a virtual control guided by the transverse function method, the original system is effectively converted into a fully actuated one. Secondly, under the assumption of infinitesimal and minimal rigidity in the graph, a gradient-descent-based virtual controller is devised for the transformed MASs, facilitating practical rigid formation stabilization. Thirdly, a discontinuous distributed velocity estimator is designed for formation tracking. The nonholonomic MASs achieve the desired formation shape while effectively tracking the reference trajectory. A stable finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) sub-grid ding method using the summation-by-parts simultaneous approximation term (SBP-SAT) technique is proposed. To meet the SBP properties and keep Yee's grids unchanged, the projection operators are carefully designed to extrapolate fields on the boundaries. Then, the SATs are used to weakly enforce the boundary conditions between multiple mesh blocks with different mesh sizes. Therefore, its long-term stability is theoretically guaranteed. An iris filter is simulated to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Results show that the proposed SBP-SAT FDTD subgridding method is stable, accurate and efficient. © 2023 IEEE.

A stable and symmetric finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) subgridding method is proposed to effectively and accurately solve the three-dimensional electromagnetic prob-lems. The linear interpolation coefficient (LIC) and the length cutoff coefficient (LCC) are carefully designed to guarantee the stability of the proposed method. In addition, the proposed method is applicable to arbitrary grid ratios and nested meshes. A practical multiscale example is used to validate its accuracy and efficiency. © 2023 IEEE.

Geiger mode Avalanche Photo Diode (Gm-APD) array lidar is a lidar that can perform single-photon detection. It offers a wide range of applications due to its low power consumption, small size, and extended detecting distance. There haven't been many research on this detector's target classification because of its late development and small detector array. The classification technique based on the Gm-APD array lidar point cloud is the focus of this paper's research: Firstly, the Gm-APD array lidar is utilized to perform imaging tests on four targets from various angles in order to create a target classification *** that, several data preprocessing methods were chosen and implemented based on the characteristics of the obtained data, such as filling in missing values, performing range image and intensity image interpolation, using the principle of keyhole imaging to convert the range image to point cloud data, realizing the information fusion of distance image and intensity image, and using multiple point cloud data enhancement methods. Finally, the point cloud classification networks PointNet and PointNet++ are trained on point cloud data with varying levels of preprocessing, the results are compared and analyzed, and the impact of different preprocessing methods on the classification accuracy of the two networks is determined. Inferences were made and experiments were carried out to verify the inferences. The data set preprocessing method with the highest classification accuracy of the two networks is discovered, laying the groundwork for future Gm-APD lidar target classification and detection research. © 2023 SPIE.

A novel SMC-based prescribed performance guidance law combined with a base generator (TBG) is proposed. A TBG-based modified Lyapunov function is first proposed, which ensures that the LOS tracking error converges into zero within a predefined time. A novel sliding manifold with adjusting convergent time property is proposed, which brings about a smaller control magnitude and predefined time convergent rate. To ensure a satisfied transit and steady performance, some converted variables are defined based on which a novel prescribed performance guidance law is constructed. The input saturation problem is properly solved by designing a novel TBG-based one-order auxiliary system. Extensive simulation results have verified the effectiveness of the proposed method. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This paper proposes a cooperative path-planning method based on multi-Dubins path segments to meet the penetration requirements of UAVs in a complex threat environment. A pruning strategy is used in path-planning to sift path segments, and the diversity of threat avoidance paths is considered under a reasonable calculation amount. A threat intrusion strategy is designed for no safety path condition, which makes the cooperative path-planning method have excellent robustness. A cooperative path optimization method based on particle swarm optimization is adopted for the path length and collision avoidance *** simulation results show that the UAV cooperative paths can avoid the threat area under any starting and ending points, and path lengths are close to the expected length.

Traditional deep learning models firmly rely on a large amount of labeled data during pre-training. Whereas it lacks generalization in the face of unfamiliar categories. Recently, few-shot learning is a hot topic in computer vision to classify unseen classes with limited labels. A representative approach is to extract features from the support and query sets, respectively, and compare similarities via metric learning. However, convolutional neural networks often focus only on a local region and ignore the global region, which severely reduces the accuracy of the matching. Specifically, in this paper, we pile lightweight attention-based blocks in the embedding module, which combines an adaptive kernel size 2D convolutional network with a cross-channel attention mechanism to encode multi-scale features and implicitly increase the receptive field. The SE-relation module chooses to construct learnable non-linear comparators to compare the relationship utilizing channel information. Finally, we show experimental results on standard few-shot testing benchmarks such as mini-ImageNet and tiered-ImageNet to demonstrate effectiveness. © 2023 ACM.

Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image registration is widely used in integrated navigation system with development of guidance system in sensors and other applications. However, there exists some difficulty because of the quality and imaginary principle of SAR images. In this article, a brand-new method based on feature points using improved CSP-DenseNet is proposed to solve the problems of SAR image registration with weak and noisy texture. Deep features of interest points in SAR images are extracted using the proposed network from the crops of search image and template image respectively. The method has an advantage of preserving abundant feature information in SAR images under the influence of insufficient image information and noise of SAR images. The CSP-DenseNet architecture has a cross-stage construction optimizing fused by CSP-Net and DenseNet to extract matching features. The network is partially connected in specific convolutional layers for feature reusing and computation resources saving. Then, Brute Force Matcher and RANSAC voting are successively applied for a larger number of matching pairs and high-precise matching vertexes. Experimental results on various SAR image matching methods show that the proposed method provides better performance than other approaches compared. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, based on the condition that the inertial navigation system loaded on the aircraft has giant dispersion, and the aircraft need to detect, track and attack a target, thus the relative position relation needs to be calculated precisely. How to estimate the problem becomes a difficult obstacle. This article describe the demand faced in the weapon engineer field and provide some solutions feasibly in the practical engineering, three mathematical method are modelled and the readers can choose the suitable scheme according to the detector performance. The un-linear filter method like unscented and cubature kalman filter are used in combination with the state and observation equation. The simulation results show that the modelling methods are observable and the filter method is adaptive to the motion method, therefore the algorithm elaborated in the thesis is of practical significance to the engineer project. © Chinese Institute of Command and control 2024.

In this paper, a second-order fully actuated system model is derived for a six degree of freedom aircraft model with control coupling. Then a three channel joint optimal attitude control method of roll, yaw and pitch is designed on high-order fully actuated system theory. Through mathematical simulation of this controller and the traditional PID controller, it is shown that the PID control method has a great shortage in the aircraft with control coupling, and the fully actuated system theory control method can well solve the problem of aircraft coupling, achieve the stable tracking of aircraft attitude command, and has better rapidity.
