Developing easy-tailorable and high-efficient electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding textile from waste textile is highly desirable to meet the demand for wearable electronics and economic sustainability for modern society. However, simultaneously featuring with good electrical conductivity and wearability of the derived waste textiles remains a daunting challenge, especially in the absence of conducting additives. Herein, we report the fabrication of a tailorable textile with high flexibility and conductivity to address this challenge via a straightforward graphitization strategy based on a mild reduction procedure. Aided by finite element analysis (FEA) and computer simulation technology (CST) for performance screening in advance, the mechanically-favorable but EMI shielding-unfavorable pores intrinsically produced in interwoven textile calls for a low square resistance of the whole textile. The textile with desirable features is fabricated by the Ni-species catalyzed graphitization of cotton cellulose with large-scale production potential. Moreover, the low square resistance of the textile remains stable after immersion in extremely corrosive chemicals or 10000-times bending tests. The textile with a small thickness of 1.4 mm achieves an EMI SE of 107 dB in 12−18 GHz, 3 fold exceeding the demand for commercial applications (>30 dB). Practical demonstrations show that personal information in a mobile phone or ID card can be prevented from being read by pockets tailored from textiles. This work shows great potential for massive production of high-efficiency EMI shielding textiles for livelihood or military towards the next-generation wearable electronic technology. © 2022, The Authors. Aiming at the problems of traditional beamforming algorithms that require a two-dimensional angle search for two-dimensional DOA estimation using rectangular arrays, which takes a long time, this paper provides a dimensionality reduction method through theoretical derivation and numerical calculation. This method uses coordinate conversion and secondary optimization, successively calculates the angle of the target relative to the X and Y axes, and combines the idea of least squares to finally calculate the azimuth and elevation angle of the target, turning the two-dimensional problem into a one-dimensional search, which greatly reduces the amount of calculation. The simulation results show that the angle estimation accuracy of this method is equivalent to that of the traditional MUSIC method, but its algorithm complexity and calculation time are reduced a lot, which is very suitable for engineering applications.

Efficiently controlling linear Gaussian quantum (LGQ) systems is a significant task in both the study of fundamental quantum theory and the development of modern quantum technology. Here, we propose a general quantum-learning-control method for optimally controlling LGQ systems based on the gradient-descent algorithm. Our approach flexibly designs the loss function for diverse tasks by utilizing first- and second-order moments that completely describe the quantum state of LGQ systems. We demonstrate both deep optomechanical cooling and large optomechanical entanglement using this approach. Our approach enables the fast and deep ground-state cooling of a mechanical resonator within a short time, surpassing the limitations of sideband cooling in the continuous-wave driven strong-coupling regime. Furthermore, optomechanical entanglement could be generated remarkably fast and surpass several times the corresponding steady-state entanglement, even when the thermal phonon occupation reaches one hundred. This work will not only broaden the application of quantum learning control, but also open an avenue for optimal control of LGQ systems. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In this work, we investigate the joint visibility region (VR) detection and channel estimation (CE) problem for extremely large-scale multiple-input-multiple-output (XL-MIMO) systems considering both the spherical wavefront effect and spatial non-stationary (SnS) property. Unlike existing SnS CE methods that rely on the statistical characteristics of channels in the spatial or delay domain, we propose an approach that simultaneously exploits the antenna-domain spatial correlation and the wavenumber-domain sparsity of SnS channels. To this end, we introduce a two-stage VR detection and CE scheme. In the first stage, the belief regarding the visibility of antennas is obtained through a VR detection-oriented message passing (VRDO-MP) scheme, which fully exploits the spatial correlation among adjacent antenna elements. In the second stage, leveraging the VR information and wavenumber-domain sparsity, we accurately estimate the SnS channel employing the belief-based orthogonal matching pursuit (BB-OMP) method. Simulations show that the proposed algorithms lead to a significant enhancement in VR detection and CE accuracy as compared to existing methods, especially in low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) scenarios. With the development of information technology, the scale of the network continues to expand, and the security issues continue to increase. The complexity of the network security situation is increasing and the importance of the network security situational awareness continues to increase. The data sources are wide, the type and the number are large in a large-scale network environment currently. This paper comprehensively studies the network security situational awareness technology based on multi-source heterogeneous data. In addition, this paper introduces the origin, concept and the model of the network situational awareness, as well as the characteristics of network security situational awareness based on multi-source heterogeneous data fusion. Finally, the key technologies in the security situational awareness such as the extraction of situational elements, multi-source data fusion, situation assessment, situation prediction and visual display are introduced.

A new type of polarization sensitive interferometer is proposed, which is named as Delta interferometer due to the geometry of the simplest interferometer looks like Greek letter, Delta. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first time that this type of interferometer is proposed. The main difference between Delta interferometer and other existed interferometer, such as Michelson interferometer, Mach-Zehnder interferometer, Young’s double-slit interferometer, is that the two interfering paths are asymmetrical in Delta interferometer, which makes it polarization sensitive. The visibility of the first-order interference pattern observed in Delta interferometer is dependent on the polarization of the incidental light. Optical coherence theory is employed to interpret the phenomenon and a single-mode continuous-wave laser is employed to verify the theoretical predictions. The theoretical and experimental results are consistent. Delta interferometer provides a perfect tool to study the reflection of electric field in different polarizations and may find applications in polarization sensitive scenarios. With the continuous development of network technology and information technology, more and more attention has been paid to the network security of smart meters. When facing the network intrusion data of smart meters, the data has large-scale, high-dimensional and non-linear intrusion detection problems. This paper proposes a model about the network intrusion model, which is based on Adaptive Particle Optimization (APSO) Deep Belief Network (DBN). First, construct a classification model based on DBN algorithm. Next, accelerate the optimization of DBN by using APSO algorithm, and calculate the number of hidden layer nodes to obtain the DBN model structure of the best hidden layer. Finally, construct the intrusion detection model of smart meter based on APSO-DBN.

By caching popular contents at edge nodes, the content can be delivered via device-to-device (D2D) communications to reduce the delay significantly. In this paper, we study cooperative content delivery from multiple edge nodes with duplicate caching, where the content caching and the cooperative transmission algorithms are designed jointly to minimize the average delay. Specifically, we decompose the delay optimization problem as short time-scale transmission subproblems for each time slot and a long time-scale caching master problem by primal decomposition. The transmission subproblem is modelled as a finite horizon Markov decision problem (MDP), and we propose a link selection algorithm based on the value function in the MDP model. For the caching master problem, we propose a caching algorithm by the simultaneous perturbation stochastic approximation (SPSA) method. Simulation results show that our proposed transmission and caching algorithms achieve lower delay than the conventional schemes.

In cognitive radio networks, when a primary user reoccupies the channel, cognitive radios (CRs) need to vacate the channel and reestablish a link on some other channel to avoid interference to primary users, resulting in spectrum handoff. A joint spectrum handoff delay and link maintenance optimization problem for spectrum handoff is formulated in this paper. A binary shuffled frog leaping algorithm (SFLA) based algorithm is proposed to solve this problem. Simulations show that the proposed algorithm performs far better than random target channel visiting scheme. It can obtain solutions with low handoff delay and low probability of handoff failure which are very close to the optimal solutions.

Purpose: Congenital heart defect (CHD) is the most common birth defect. Thoracic echocardiography (TTE) can provide sufficient cardiac structure information, evaluate hemodynamics and cardiac function, and is an effective method for atrial septal defect (ASD) examination. This paper aims to study a deep learning method based on cardiac ultrasound video to assist in ASD diagnosis. Materials and methods: We select two standard views of the atrial septum (subAS) and low parasternal four-compartment view (LPS4C) as the two views to identify ASD. We enlist data from 300 children patients as part of a double-blind experiment for fivefold cross-validation to verify the performance of our model. In addition, data from 30 children patients (15 positives and 15 negatives) are collected for clinician testing and compared to our model test results (these 30 samples do not participate in model training). We propose an echocardiography video-based atrial septal defect diagnosis system. In our model, we present a block random selection, maximal agreement decision and frame sampling strategy for training and testing respectively, resNet18 and r3D networks are used to extract the frame features and aggregate them to build a rich video-level representation. Results: We validate our model using our private dataset by five-cross validation. For ASD detection, we achieve 89.33 ± 3.13 AUC, 84.95 ± 3.88 accuracy, 85.70 ± 4.91 sensitivity, 81.51 ± 8.15 specificity and 81.99 ± 5.30 F1 score. Conclusion: The proposed model is multiple instances learning-based deep learning model for video atrial septal defect detection which effectively improves ASD detection accuracy when compared to the performances of previous networks and clinical doctors. © 2023, CC BY.
