Research on the range anomaly suppression algorithm in laser radar (ladar) range images is significant in the application and development of ladar. But most of existing algorithms cannot protect the edge and linear target well while suppressing the range anomaly. Aiming at this problem, the differences among the edge, linear target, and range anomaly are analyzed and a novel algo- rithm based on neighborhood pixels detection is proposed. Firstly, the range differences between current pixel and its neighborhood pixels are calculated. Then, the number of neighborhood pixels is detected by the range difference threshold. Finally, whether the current pixel is a range anomaly is distinguished by the neighbor- hood pixel number threshold. Experimental results show that the new algorithm not only has a better range anomaly suppression performance and higher efficiency, but also protects the edge and linear target preferably compared with other algorithms.

A method and procedure is presented to reconstruct three-dimensional(3D) positions of scattering centers from multiple synthetic aperture radar(SAR) images. Firstly, two-dimensional(2D) attribute scattering centers of targets are extracted from 2D SAR images. Secondly, similarity measure is developed based on 2D attributed scatter centers' location, type, and radargrammetry principle between multiple SAR images. By this similarity, we can associate 2D scatter centers and then obtain candidate 3D scattering centers. Thirdly, these candidate scattering centers are clustered in 3D space to reconstruct final 3D positions. Compared with presented methods, the proposed method has a capability of describing distributed scattering center, reduces false and missing 3D scattering centers, and has fewer restrictionson modeling data. Finally, results of experiments have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed method.

An optical fiber control and transmission module is designed and realized based on Virtex-7 field programmable gata array(FPGA), which can be applied in multi-channel broadband digital receivers. The module consists of sampling data transfer submodule and multi-channel synchronous sampling control submodule. The sampling data transmission in 4× fiber link channel is realized with the self-defined transfer protocol. The measured maximum data rate is 4.97 Gbyte/s. By connecting coherent clocks to the transmitter and receiver endpoints and using the self-defined transfer protocol, multi-channel sampling control signals transferred in optical fibers can be received synchronously by each analog-to-digital converter(ADC) with high accuracy and strong anti-interference ability. The module designed in this paper has certain reference value in increasing the transmission bandwidth and the synchronous sampling accuracy of multi-channel broadband digital receivers.

At present, most of the passive radar system researches utilize FM radios, TV broadcasts, navigation satellites,etc. as illuminators. The transmitted signals are not specifically designed radar waveforms. In this work, the frequency agile, phased array air surveillance radar(ASR) is used as the illuminator of opportunity to detect the weak target. The phased array technology can help realize beam agility to track targets from different aspects simultaneously. The frequency agility technology is widely employed in radar system design to increase the ability of anti-jamming and increase the detection probability. While the frequency bandwidth of radar signals is usually wide and the range resolution is high, the range cell migration effect is obvious during the long time integration of non-cooperative bistatic radar. In this context, coherent integration methods are not applicable. In this work, a parametric non-coherent integration algorithm based on task de-interweaving is proposed. Numerical experiments verify that this is effective in weak target detection.
