Malicious modification, deletion or addition of some modules in the integrated circuits(ICs) will cause the chip to be attacked, which is called Hardware Trojans(HTs). Reverse engineering(RE) is a classic destructive method and widely used in HTs detection. However, RE is very time-consuming and error prone. In this paper, based on RE, we propose the R-SIFT algorithm to match image and reformulate the Trojan detection problem as change detection problem. For the R-SIFT algorithm, the ratio of exponentially weighted averages(Roewa) operator is introduced into the scale-invariant feature transform(SIFT) algorithm. Experiments show that the proposed method has 7 to 56 times more matching points than the original SIFT can be effectively applied to HTs detection.

We show that proto-RG (renormaliation group) theory can be used to give a systematic description of the evolution of soltion of perturbed equations. The equations describing the deformation of its shape as the effect of perturbation are proto-RG equations. The RG approach may be simpler than inverse scattering theory (IST) and another approaches, because it dose not rely on any knowledge of IST. It is very concise and easy to understand.

Quantum Fisher information (QFI) is a key concept in quantum state estimation, and Berry curvature (BC) is another basic concept to describe geometric properties of quantum states. In this paper, we consider pure states undergoing unitary parametrization processes and show that the BC serves as a lower bound for the product of QFIs corresponding to two different parameters through the Heisenberg uncertainty relation. This relation between QFI and BC implies that the estimation precisions of two different parameters are mutually restrictive due to finite BC, and the notion of QFI squeezing is introduced. A scenario of general su(2) parametrization is considered in detail to verify the relation between the QFI and BC.

The magnetic properties of the diluted magnetic semiconductor Ga1−xMnxAs are studied within the dynamical cluster approximation. We use the k·p Hamiltonian to describe the electronic structure of GaAs with spin-orbit coupling and strain effects. We show that nonlocal effects are essential for explaining the experimentally observed transition temperature and saturation magnetization. We also demonstrate that the cluster anisotropy is very strong and induces rotational frustration and a cube-edge direction magnetic anisotropy at low temperature. With this, we explain the temperature-driven spin reorientation in this system.
