Degradation and overstress failures occur in many electronic systems in which the operation load and environmental conditions are *** dependency of them called dependent competing failure process(DCFP),has been widely *** system may experience mutual effects of degradation and shocks,they are considered to be *** the degradation and the shock processes will decrease the limit of system and cause cumulative ***,the competition of hard and soft failure will cause the system *** on the failure mechanism accumulation theory,this paper constructs the shock-degradation acceleration and the threshold descent model,and a system reliability model established by using these two *** mutually DCFP effect of electronic system interaction has been decomposed into physical correlation of failure,including acceleration,accumulation and *** a case,a reliability of electronic system in aeronautical system has been analyzed with the proposed *** method proposed is based on failure physical evaluation,and could provide important reference for quantitative evaluation and design improvement of the newly designed system in case of data deficiency.

Robust fully spin-polarized nodal chain in 3D metal-organic framework

The identification of fully spin-polarized topological phases in magnetic inorganic materials has attracted significant *** this study,through first-principles calculations,we characterize CrCl2(pyz)2,a metal-organic framework(MOF),as a nodal chain *** results reveal a ferromagnetic ground state in this material,presenting as a half-metal with a single spin channel near the Fermi ***-ically,the spin-down states form a nodal chain close to the Fermi level,consisting of three nodal loops protected by glide mirror symmetry on distinct ***,fully spin-polarized drumhead sur-face states corresponding to these nodal loops are identified on the material's ***,we observe the persistence of the fully spin-polarized nodal chain even when tuning the ligand rotation an-gle of the ***,our investigation delves into the influence of spin-orbit coupling(SOC)on the system,revealing that it has minimal impact on the nodal *** robustness of the nodal chain in the presence of SOC underscores its intriguing and resilient nature,indicating its potential utility in various electronic ***,the robust realization of a fully spin-polarized nodal chain in this magnetic MOF system holds promise for applications in the realm of spintronics.

Materials featuring topological energy bands and nontrivial surface states hold significant promise in unlocking unprecedented opportunities for innovating electrocatalytic ***,it remains a challenge to realize superior topological catalysts which can carry both high catalytic activity and excellent catalytic ***,we propose that a family of Ni-based binary materials hosting fantasying topological conjunct-nodalpoint state and a large nontrivial energy window(NEWD)represents an ideal choice for such superior topological catalysts in hydrogen evolution *** presence of conjunct-nodal-points ensures long Fermi arcs on the surface,thereby enabling an extremely high catalytic *** NEWD plays a crucial role in stabilizing the high catalytic activity against external perturbations,such as strain and electron/hole *** roles for conjunctnodal-points and NEWD are substantiated by the observable weakening of catalytic performance during topological phase transitions,which result in the removal of the conjunct-nodal-points,NEWD and their corresponding long Fermi *** work unveils a hidden mechanism and opens a feasible route for developing superior quantum catalysts from novel topology point of view.

This paper systematically introduces and reviews a scientific exploration of reliability called the belief *** with the origin of reliability engineering,the problems of present theories for reliability engineering are summarized as a query,a dilemma,and a ***,through philosophical reflection,we introduce the theoretical solutions given by belief reliability theory,including scientific principles,basic equations,reliability science experiments,and mathematical *** basic methods and technologies of belief reliability,namely,belief reliability analysis,function-oriented belief reliability design,belief reliability evaluation,and several newly developed methods and technologies are sequentially elaborated and *** on the above investigations,we summarize the significance of belief reliability theory and make some prospects about future research,aiming to promote the development of reliability science and engineering.

Pharmacokinetic model for extravascular administration based on uncertain differential equation

Pharmacokinetics studies the time course of drug concentration in body compartments, and one of the commonly used methods of administration is extravascular administration. Undoubtedly, biological systems are subject to various internal and external noises that change over time. To rationally deal with these dynamic noises, this paper deduces a pharmacokinetic model for extravascular administration using uncertain differential equations for the first time. Some essential pharmacokinetic indexes such as drug concentration, area under the curve, and maximum drug concentration are investigated. Based on the three basic principles of reliability science, i.e., margin-based reliable principle, eternal degradation principle and uncertainty principle, the belief reliability for drug is investigated. The minimum cover estimation for the set of unknown parameters in this uncertain pharmacokinetic model is provided. Numerical example and a real data analysis illustrate our method in detail. Modeling and control of a rigid-flexible coupling robot for narrow space manipulations

Narrow space manipulations are crucial for equipment maintenance,as they eliminate the need for disassembly,thus reducing costs and increasing ***-driven flexible robots possess exceptional capabilities in maneuvering through narrow spaces,thanks to their interaction compliance and distal ***,their inherent low stiffness causes a decline in the location accuracy of the robot and could even lead to manipulation *** address this challenge,this paper proposes a novel type of rigid-flexible coupling robot,which increases the stiffness of the robot while ensuring the reachability within a narrow *** achieve high-accuracy location in a narrow space,kinematic and control methods are ***,the robot forward kinematics are uniformly represented,and the closed-form inverse kinematics solution is ***,in cases where the robot's structure fails to align with Pieper's solution,a two-stage search strategy is utilized to solve the inverse kinematics,resulting in a high success rate of 99.1%.Based on the proposed kinematics,a rigid-dominated control method is then proposed to facilitate localization and pose alignment of target objects in narrow *** practical comparative experiments show that the proposed robot has the capability of high accuracy control in narrow spaces.

This study comprehensively investigates the effects of annealing on the structural,electrochemical properties and passivation film characteristics of Ti_(20)Zr_(20)Hf_(20)Be_(20)Ni_(20)(at%)high-entropy metallic glass(HE-MG).Subjected to various annealing temperatures,the samples were analyzed in a 3.5 wt%NaCl solution to evaluate changes in their microstructure and assess their corrosion *** reveal that the HE-MG undergoes multistage crystallization,displaying an amorphous matrix integrated with face centered cubic(FCC)and Ni_(7)Zr_(2)phases between 420 and 500℃,indicating robust thermal *** assessments identify a critical temperature threshold:Below the glass transition temperature(Tg),the HE-MG maintains excellent corrosion resistance,promoting stable passivation *** Tg,enhanced long-range atomic rearrangement during relaxation increases passivation layer defects and significantly diminishes corrosion resistance.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)analyses show that the primary components of the passivation layer are TiO_(2),ZrO_(2),HfO_(2)and *** annealing temperatures lead to enhanced Be and Ni content and decreased Ti,Zr and ***,high mixing entropy and significant atomic size mismatch suppress long-range atomic rearrangement and *** crystallization begins above Tg by_(20)℃,with crystalline phases evenly distributed within the matrix without drastically affecting corrosion *** investigation highlights the impact of thermal treatment on the properties of HE-MG,contributing valuable insights into optimizing their performance and applications.

Characterization of the interfacial structure and fracture behavior of in situ synthesized ceramics to reinforce Ni-based composite coatings

This work used the in-situ synthesis of molten-state nitride ceramic phase-reinforced Ni-based alloy coat-ings,aiming to improve the phase-interface bonding through the interdependent co-solidification be-tween molten *** XRD was used to analyze the physical phases of the composite *** microstructure and phase-interface structure were characterized in detail by combining SEM,TEM,HRTEM,FFT,and SAED *** tester and microforce microhardness tester were em-ployed to measure the surface hardness and elastic modulus of the composite *** fracture be-havior of the composite coatings was characterized by observing the fracture morphology of the coatings using SEM combined with the EDS *** was found that the formation mechanisms of inter-facial misfit dislocation assistance,lattice distortion,aggregation of stacking faults,and specific growth orientation between the y-Ni matrix phase and each ceramic phase in NiCrBSi-TiCrN composite coat-ings improved the lattice matching between the two-phase interface,which resulted in the formation of atomically corresponding coherent lattice relations and stepped interfacial semi-coherent lattice relations,and enhanced the degree of phase-interface *** this basis,the composite coatings with high Cr content further inhibited the expansion of interphase penetration cracks due to the existence of Cr-rich zones at the phase interface,thus exhibiting high fracture *** work provides new opinions on the improvement of phase-interface bonding and composition design of Ni-based composite coatings.

Enhancing the availability and safety of electronic systems necessitates a comprehensive investigation into their reliability. This study proposes an electronic system life prediction algorithm based on the physics of failure. For commonly used components, both failure physical models and degradation physical models are presented. An improved binary decision diagram (BDD) is constructed, accompanied by the development of a model-solving algorithm. Ultimately, the proposed methodology is applied to the driver circuit board of an electronic controller as a specific case study, thereby demonstrating its effectiveness and validity. © 2024 IEEE.
