The thermally conductive silver adhesive is widely used as a thermal interface material for thermal management of electronic device packaging. In engineering applications, the evolution of holes inside the silver adhesive interface seriously affects its service life. In this paper, we designed high-temperature accelerated aging experiments for submicron silver adhesive interfaces. The evolution of the pores during interfacial aging was characterized by X-ray scanning and scanning electron microscopy and counting the porosity. The temperature fields of interfaces with different porosities were simulated using finite element simulation. Both experimental and simulation results show that the increase in porosity accelerates the aging of the silver-glue interface. When the porosity is increased to 30%, the simulated equivalent thermal conductivity reduces by 52.50%, and the experimentally tested interfacial thermal resistance increases by 71.58%. The experimental test results of the interfacial thermal resistance are more significant than the simulated results, indicating that porosity is not the only factor influencing accelerated interfacial aging. It provides a theoretical and experimental basis for further research on porosity accelerated aging of silver adhesive interfaces.

With the trends of high power and miniaturization of power electronics, thermal management is becoming to an emergency issue. To solve this, a real time thermal measurement system was proposed. In this study, the SiC-TEG (Thermal engineering Group) heater chip was designed, which plays a high-density heat source in the system. Simulation results indicated heat was transferred to cooling plate through die attach materials and DBC substrate, so that the thermal resistance can be calculated. In addition, the uniformity of heater chip also evaluated. The optimized heater chip may improve the precision of the thermal measurement system. © 2023 Japan Institute of Electronics Packaging.

Accelerated life testing is one of the rapid verification methods for highly reliable electronic products in complex service environments. Existing acceleration models primarily rely on single or double stress, making it difficult to meet the reliability improvement needs of highly reliable electronic products in terms of fault excitation efficiency and service environment simulation accuracy. This article proposes a vector representation method for the multi stress acceleration factor of highly reliable electronic products based on the random vector theory and product failure time model, considering the multi stress coupling effect in the product failure mechanism to improve the accuracy of the multi stress acceleration model when describing the product failure mechanism. The method was applied to statistically analyze the temperature, humidity, and electrical stress constant acceleration life test data of power control components under 5 different stress combinations. The predicted results of the model showed an error of less than 10% compared to the test results, verifying the scientific and feasible vector characterization of multi stress acceleration factors in highly reliable electronic products and providing a method for the research of multi stress acceleration test technology in electronic products.

A new fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method with triangular distribution for the protection characteristics of circuit breaker with oil dashpot is proposed. Firstly, the protection characteristic of circuit breaker with oil dashpot is measured by test method, the action time under different current and the protection characteristic curve of circuit breaker with oil dashpot are obtained. Secondly, taking the measured action time as evaluation index factors, taking the mean value of the standard action time as the optimal value of the evaluation index, setting evaluation set with five levels. Finally, the protection characteristics of circuit breaker with oil dashpot are evaluated through the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method with triangular distribution. Through test verification, this evaluation method of the protection characteristics of circuit breaker with oil dashpot is feasible, and it provides a research method for the evaluation of the protection characteristics of other similar products.

Ion implanters are widely utilized in particle radiation testing of materials within the context of space applications. Their primary purpose is to validate the reliability of materials exposed to space environment. A novel low-energy ion implanter is presently under development, featuring several distinctive attributes aimed at facilitating the production of an ion beam characterized by high uniformity, a substantial irradiation area, and sustained flux stability. The initial step involves the utilization of multi-circle arc-shaped hot cathodes to emit electrons. Subsequently, a multilayer concentric cylindrical electrode, interspersed with hot cathodes, is introduced within the ionization chamber. This configuration paves the way for the ion extraction electrode to extend into the ionization chamber. Finally, an automated adjustment method for regulating ion flux at the target stage is incorporated into the design. These enhancements collectively contribute to heightened efficiency and improved quality in particle radiation testing for materials.

Analysis of X-ray images is one of the main tools to diagnose breast cancer. The ability to quickly and accurately detect the location of masses from the huge amount of image data is the key to reducing the morbidity and mortality of breast cancer. Currently, the main factor limiting the accuracy of breast mass detection is the unequal focus on the mass boxes, leading the network to focus too much on larger masses at the expense of smaller ones. In the paper, we propose the multi-head feature pyramid module (MHFPN) to solve the problem of unbalanced focus of target boxes during feature map fusion and design a multi-head breast mass detection network (MBMDnet). Experimental studies show that, comparing to the SOTA detection baselines, our method improves by 6.58% (in AP@50) and 5.4% (in TPR@50) on the commonly used IN-breast dataset, while about 6-8% improvements (in AP@20) are also observed on the public MIAS and BCS-DBT datasets. © 2023 IEEE.

Existing self-supervised learning methods based on contrastive learning and masked image modeling have demonstrated impressive performances. However, current masked image modeling methods are mainly utilized in natural images, and their applications in medical images are relatively lacking. Besides, their fixed high masking strategy limits the upper bound of conditional mutual information, and the gradient noise is considerable, making less the learned representation information. Motivated by these limitations, in this paper, we propose masked patches selection and adaptive masking strategy based self-supervised medical image segmentation method, named MPS-AMS. We leverage the masked patches selection strategy to choose masked patches with lesions to obtain more lesion representation information, and the adaptive masking strategy is utilized to help learn more mutual information and improve performance further. Extensive experiments on three public medical image segmentation datasets (BUSI, Hecktor, and Brats2018) show that our proposed method greatly outperforms the state-of-the-art self-supervised baselines. © 2023 IEEE.

In clinical scenarios, multiple medical images with different views are usually generated at the same time, and they have high semantic consistency. However, the existing medical report generation methods cannot exploit the rich multi-view mutual information of medical images. Therefore, in this work, we propose the first multi-view medical report generation model, called MvCo-DoT. Specifically, MvCo-DoT first propose a multi-view contrastive learning (MvCo) strategy to help the deep reinforcement learning based model utilize the consistency of multi-view inputs for better model learning. Then, to close the performance gaps of using multi-view and single-view inputs, a domain transfer network is further proposed to ensure MvCo-DoT achieve almost the same performance as multi-view inputs using only single-view inputs. Extensive experiments on the IU X-Ray public dataset show that MvCo-DoT outperforms the SOTA medical report generation baselines in all metrics. © 2023 IEEE.

The fault diagnosis method of winding deformation based on pulse coupling injection is becoming more and more popular due to its advantages of online detection. In order to further improve the method, a pulse generator with adjustable parameters is developed in this paper to provide stable excitation. Its amplitude is adjustable from 600v to 5000v, pulse width is adjustable from 100 to 1000ns, and frequency is adjustable from 1 to 20kHz. In the diagnosis of winding deformation, the current research mainly focuses on the single deformation fault, and rarely involves the mixed deformation fault. Therefore, based on the pulse coupling injection method, field experiments are carried out to verify the feasibility of the method and find out the important reasons affecting the curve. At the same time, the detection experiment of multi-winding deformation fault superposition of a transformer is carried out, and the RVM frequency divider is used to accurately diagnose the mixed fault types of transformer windings. © 2024 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Semi-Supervised Contrastive Domain Adaptation Network for Fault Diagnosis of Rotating Machinery Under Cross-Working Conditions

Existing domain adaptation (DA) methods, which focus on realizing the class-level alignment for cross-domain features to solve the problem of fuzzy classification boundaries in feature learning process, however, it is difficult to deal with samples located at the classification boundary in this way, resulting in diagnosis performance being limited. To solve the problem, this paper proposes a semi-supervised contrastive domain adaptation network (SSCDAN) for realizing the cross-working condition rotating machinery fault diagnosis method. Specifically, an in-domain semi-supervised contrastive learning (SSCL) strategy is designed, with the supervision of class information, which guides the discriminative learning of different classes in each domain to eliminate the fuzzy classification boundaries, and facilitates the domain adaptation of cross-domain features which utilizes the local maximum mean discrepancy (LMMD). Meanwhile, the negative impact from poor-quality target domain pseudo-labels on SSCL and DA is mitigated by dynamically limiting the associated contrastive learning loss and domain adaptation loss gain, and introducing domain adversarial. Finally, the effectiveness of SSCDAN is validated by the ablation and comparison experiments on the Paderborn University (PU) and wind turbine gearbox (WTG) datasets. Compared with deep subdomain adaptation (DSAN), SSCDAN improves the overall average accuracy by 22.43% and 7.36% on the cross-working condition diagnosis tasks of PU and WTG datasets, respectively, and outperforms other popular DA methods. © 2025 IEEE.
