With the objective to achieve an accurate diagnosis of commonly encountered fault problems in power electronic circuits and to prevent the occurrence of catastrophic failures, a soft fault diagnosis model for dc-dc converter based on the gram angle difference filed (GADF) and the channel split residual network (CSRN) is proposed. Firstly, the original fault data is coded by GADF to generate the fault data set. Secondly, channel split preprocessing (CSP) and Darwinian selection mechanism (DSM) are introduced to enhance the residual network and further construct the CSRN. CSP emphasizes the important channel features in the fault feature images by achieving a brute-force enhancement of the channel information and highlighting subtle features. DSM retains the key features and removes the secondary features during network training. The GADF-CSRN diagnosis model proposed in this paper is verified by the fault data collected from a dc-dc converter. The result showed that a diagnosis accuracy of 97.92% is achieved, surpassing the accuracy of conventional method by at least 1.85%, while exhibiting better noise resistance. © 2024 IEEE.

Effect of nucleating agents on the electrical properties of cross-linked polyethylene under tensile stress

During the operation of high-voltage cables,external stress and residual stress can affect the aggregated structure of insulating materials and lead to significant deterioration in their electrical *** investigate the evolution characteristics of the electrical properties of cross-linked polyethylene(XLPE)under mechanical stress,this paper ex-plains the relationship between the aggregated structure of XLPE and its electrical properties and proposes a method for improving insulation performance under me-chanical *** results show that metallocene polyethylene used as a nucleating agent can promote crystallisation through heterogeneous nucleation and increase Young's modulus by non-uniform nucleation,increasing crystallinity and reducing interplanar spacing,resulting in more complete crystal forms and reduced damage to the aggregated structure during the tensile *** nucleating agent modification,the XLPE crystallisation becomes more uniform,and interfacial adhesion forces *** weakened interface damage process between the amorphous and crystalline regions under tensile stress effectively inhibits the process of molecular chain polarisation turning and reduces trap *** modified XLPE crystal structure shows a tendency towards densification and enhanced molecular chain interactions,which can reduce the damage to the aggregated structure under tensile stress,while the reduced free volume inside the material and the shortened average free path of carriers can weaken the damage of high-energy electrons to molecular chains,thereby inhibiting the process of electrical tree *** results show that nucleating agents have great potential for maintaining the stable operation of XLPE cables under mechanical stress.

Considering the characteristics of muti-phased mission and repair of warship system, there are difficulties in the application of traditional solution methods to model and evaluate the system reliability. A simulation strategy combined with the state transition algorithm based on Monte Carlo method is proposed to calculate ship mission reliability. The mission reliability simulation is demonstrated with three examples and a complex warship system to verify the feasibility and accuracy of the method. The results suggest that the simulation model built in this paper is credible and has certain guiding significance for the design and improvement of warship task allocation. © 2022 IEEE.

Sn-Doped Beta Zeolite with Rich Lewis Acidic Sites Enhances Lithium-Ion Dissociation and Transport in PEO-Based Solid Polymer Electrolytes

Poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO)-based solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) demonstrate strong electrode adhesion and facile processability, making them promising candidates in all-solid-state lithium metal batteries (ASSLMBs). However, poor ionic conductivity, low Li⁺ transference number, and insufficient mechanical strength greatly limit their practical application. Zeolite, a porous ceramic material rich in active sites, shows significant potential as a filler in the PEO-based SPEs. In this study, we prepared heteroatomic Sn-Beta zeolite with high Lewis acid activity through a simple two-step postsynthesis process and explored the mechanism of action of metal acidic sites on Li⁺ dissociation and transport. The Lewis acidic metal sites in the Sn-Beta zeolite effectively weaken the coordination environment of Li⁺ by binding the O atoms in PEO via metal-oxygen bonds, facilitating the transfer of Li⁺ along the PEO polymer chains. Moreover, it can promote the dissociation of the lithium salt by anchoring TFSI^- anions, resulting in the release of free Li⁺. The obtained SPE (PL-Sn-Beta) exhibits a high ionic conductivity of 1.40 × 10^-3 S cm^-1 at 60 °C and a Li⁺ transference number of up to 0.51. Furthermore, the ordered pore channels of the Sn-Beta zeolite provide uniform Li-ion transport pathways, facilitating homogeneous Li⁺ deposition. As a result, the lithium symmetric cell with PL-Sn-Beta demonstrates a stable lithium plating/stripping cycle performance for over 2200 h at 60 °C and 0.1 mA cm^-2. Meanwhile, the initial discharge capacity of the Li/PL-Sn-Beta/LiFePO₄ full cell reaches 145.6 mAh g^-1 at 1 C and 60 °C, and the capacity retention rate is 81.5% after 500 cycles. This work provides theoretical insights into the mechanism of zeolite fillers in SPEs as well as new design concepts. © 2025 American Chemical Society.

With the wide applications of unmanned aircraft, the flight safety of unmanned aircraft has attracted the attention of many scholars. The actuator controls the flight direction and attitude, and its actuating performance affects the whole unmanned aircraft. Real-time dynamic monitoring of actuator operation status is critical to unmanned aircraft flight safety. However, the existing fixed-threshold-based monitoring methods do not pay enough attention to the unmanned aircraft flight environment and operating conditions, resulting in false alarms or insufficient accuracy. This paper proposed a condition monitoring and quantitative assessment method of unmanned aircraft actuator based on radial basis function two-stage observer. We constructed the fault detection observer by fitting the relationship between the command signal and the position signal of the actuator, and the adaptive threshold observer is constructed by the command signal, output position, and standard threshold. The residuals between position signal and observer output represent the state of the actuator, and the dynamic threshold can reduce the interference of operational conditions in monitoring assessment results. Finally, we monitored the actuator performance of an unmanned aircraft during flight based on the proposed method. The results showed that the method accurately monitored and assessed the actuator under different flight conditions. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Effect of Hydro-oleophobicity Coating on Swelling and Insulation Properties of SiR for Cable Accessories

The swelling effect and deterioration of high-voltage cable accessories can easily lead to insulation breakdown and seriously threaten the safe and stable operation of high-voltage cables. This paper proposes the preparation of a surface hydro-oleophobicity coating to enhance the swelling resistance of the cable accessories. Wet thermal aging experiments were conducted on silicone rubber (SiR), with subsequent analysis of the interface properties, swelling properties, and electrical properties. The results showed that the SiO2 nanoparticle coating containing carbon-fluorine bonds was formed on the surface of the modified SiR, which enhanced the barrier effect of the sample surface on moisture and silicone grease and suppressed the swelling and damage effect on the SiR. The modification restrained the damage of aging to the surface structure of SiR and improved the surface conductivity, flashover voltage, and potential decay rate. © 1994-2012 IEEE.

In order to achieve safe, comfortable, and stable control of lane-changing trajectories for intelligent vehicles, this paper reviews various trajectory tracking control methods for intelligent vehicles. Focusing on overtaking lane-changing trajectories, the paper provides a comprehensive review of research progress in PID, LQR, MPC, and SMC control methods both domestically and internationally. Striking a balance between addressing the challenges posed by non-integrity and multiple constraints of the vehicle, coping with the time-variability of the vehicle dynamics model, and ensuring the accuracy and computational efficiency of the vehicle model is essential for fostering the continuous development and enhancement of intelligent vehicle technology. © The Author(s) 2024.

Software debugging plays a crucial role in fault localization tasks, and spectrum-based fault localization (SBFL) is a hot topic in software automation debugging research. However, existing SBFL technologies are generally limited by tie within ranks, where a large number of elements share the same suspiciousness, which in turn severely limits the performance of SBFL. To this end, we propose an SBFL model based on eigenvector centrality (FLEC). This algorithm first utilizes the statement coverage information in the program spectrum to construct a statement network, and adopts the correlation between statements as edge weights. Then, FLEC takes statement suspiciousness as node weight. On this basis, the algorithm utilizes the eigenvector centrality to calculate the weighted suspiciousness of each statement while considering both node importance and correlation between nodes. Finally, FLEC conducted experimental validation on 3 datasets of Defects4J, and the results showed an average improvement of 10.7% in ACC@N compared to the optimal baseline. © 2024 IEEE.
