This paper presents a weapon target assignment method to reduce maneuverability overload through redistribution for multi-missile cooperative attack. Firstly, a dynamic constrained model of multi-missile cooperative attack on multi-target is established. Secondly, in order to evaluate the missile's cooperative attack performance better, a cooperative attack probability matrix considering the cooperative attack efficiency is constructed by taking the time-to-go and the line-of-sight rate as indexes. Three kinds of maneuvering overload results are compared to verify the effectiveness of redistribution, including unassigned process, primary target assignment and redistribution at the beginning of mid-to-terminal guidance handover. Then, an auction algorithm is used to solve the target assignment problem under multiple constraints. Finally, the simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is much less time-consuming than the existing intelligent optimization algorithms and meets the real-time requirement. © 2021 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

A software platform for vision-based UAV autonomous landing guidance based on markers estimation

The paper concentrated on descripting the methods of UAV autonomous landing on moving target. GPS navigation and visionbased navigation were employed during different stage of autonomous landing in the simulation environment and virtual *** markers estimation is the main step for UAV autonomous landing. It contains the convex hull transformation,interference preclusion, ellipse fitting and specific feature matching. Furthermore, the complete visual measurement program and guidance strategy were proposed in this paper. Considerable comprehensive experiments indicated the significance and feasibility of method of vision-based UAV autonomous landing on moving target.

Terminal sliding mode velocity control of the electro-hydraulic actuator with lumped uncertainty

A terminal sliding mode control (TSMC) strategy is used in the velocity control of electro-hydraulic actuator (EHA) to improve the output response performance. Based on the terminal sliding mode technique, a disturbance observer is designed to estimate the lumped uncertainty of EHA including hydraulic parametric uncertainty and unknown external load. Different from asymptotic convergence controller, the TSMC guarantees the system state error and observer estimation error converge to zero in a finite time. The effectiveness of the proposed controller is verified by simulation results with comparisons the other controllers. © 2021, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

4.5 mol.% Y2O3 stabilized ZrO2 (YSZ) and 4.0 mol.% Yb2O3 and 0.5 mol.% Y2O3 co-stabilized ZrO2 (YbYSZ) series coatings with different spraying parameters were fabricated using atmospheric plasma spraying (APS). This work describes the effects of feed powder particle size and substrate temperature on the microstructure and performance of the barrier coatings. Single pass and multi-pass experiments were conducted to better explore the relationship between splat and coatings. Results show that adjusting feed powders particle size and the deposition temperature can modify the spalts behaviours and the microstructure, improve anti-corrosion and anti-sintering ability, enhance the hardness and elastic modulus. Specially, the coating by conventional feed powder on 800 °C substrate has the excellent sintering resistance, and the coating deposited by fine feed powder on 800 °C substrate has the best CMAS corrosion resistance. © 2023, The Authors. Doping rare-earth elements has been regarded as one of the potential ways to enhance the comprehensive performance of thermal barrier coatings. In the study, the microstructure, thermophysical and mechanical properties and wetting behaviour of Yb2O3-Y2O3 co-stabilized ZrO2 (YbYSZ) were evaluated in detail as compared with Y2O3 stabilized ZrO2 (YSZ) counterpart. During high-temperature exposure and CMAS attack at 1300 ℃ × 32 h, the samples did not undergo phase transformation, while samples underwent phase transformation under CMAS corrosion. In the cross-section of CMAS penetration, YbYSZ penetration depth decreases by more than 20% compared to YSZ and the maximum degradation depth of YSZ and YbYSZ is 27.37 μm and 11.28 μm. Additionally, the thermal conductivity of YbYSZ is lower than that of YSZ. During high-temperature exposure, the hardness and elastic modulus of YSZ shows a more significant upward trend are than that of YbYSZ. During CMAS corrosion, the hardness and elastic modulus which offers a downward trend, are higher than those of YSZ. The samples were held at 1300 ℃ × 180 s, the contact angle difference between YSZ (59.2°) and YbYSZ (99.9°) is the largest. The YbYSZ coating exhibits better performance on resistibility to CMAS corrosion and high-temperature exposure. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Simulation of Hybrid Air-Cooled and Liquid-Cooled Systems for Optimal Lithium-Ion Battery Performance and Condensation Prevention in High-Humidity Environments

This study introduces an innovative hybrid air-cooled and liquid-cooled system designed to mitigate condensation in lithium-ion battery thermal management systems (BTMS) operating in high-humidity environments. The proposed system features a unique return air structure that enhances the thermal stability and safety of the batteries by recirculating air through the battery box, thereby utilizing residual heat to prevent condensation. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations were employed to analyze and optimize the system's thermal management performance under various airflow velocities and temperature conditions. The study results show that compared to traditional liquid cooling systems, the proposed hybrid system reduces the condensation area by approximately 39.68% at a wind speed of 0.5 m/s, and the temperature difference decreases by 0.35 K. The integration of flow deflectors further improves the anti-condensation effect, achieving a phase change rate greater than 0 in the cooling area, thereby enabling condensation-free operation throughout the entire cooling zone. A comprehensive evaluation using the entropy weight-TOPSIS method and nonlinear surface fitting was conducted to assess multiple schemes regarding heat dissipation, anti-condensation measures, and energy consumption. The optimal operating conditions were identified as an airflow velocity (Vair) of 1.29 m/s and a liquid flow velocity (Vwater) of 0.22 m/s, resulting in a maximum temperature difference (ΔT) of 3.98 K, a maximum temperature (Tmax) of 302.36 K, and energy consumption values (Enair and Enwater) of 0.158 J and 0.192 J, respectively. The proposed system not only addresses the thermal management challenges of lithium-ion batteries in high humidity environments, but also effectively ensures the insulation safety of electronic components. The integration of edge computing with LEO satellite broadband networks (LSBNs) offers a transformative potential, yet remains underexplored in the optimization of joint computation offloading and resource allocation (JCORA). This problem is compounded by the issues of load imbalance and hybrid action spaces. To tackle them, we firstly propose a multi-level edge computing architecture that leverages the inter-satellite links to enable collaborative offloading among neighboring satellites, thereby enhancing global resource utilization and load balance in LSBNs. Moreover, existing studies demonstrate the benefits of deep reinforcement learning (DRL) for JCORA optimization but struggle with the complexities of hybrid action spaces. To address this, we elaborate a novel hierarchical multi-agent DRL (HMADRL) framework that decomposes the JCORA problem into two-layered subproblems, namely global computation offloading and local resource allocation. This decomposition effectively mitigates the challenge posed by hybrid action spaces. The computation offloading subproblem is formulated as a delayed-reward partially observable Markov decision process, optimized by using multi-agent deep Q-networks specialized in discrete action outputs. Meanwhile, the resource allocation subproblem is addressed through the deep deterministic policy gradient model, adept at handling continuous actions. Extensive experiments validate our approach, demonstrating improvements in delay reduction, outrage rate, and load balancing compared to baselines. © 2015 IEEE.

The analysis of dielectric properties in Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has become an important research branch since the outbreak of the epidemic in 2019. In order to detect the dielectric properties of microfluidics like virus with higher sensitivity, a radio frequency sensor model is proposed in this paper. First, based on the excellent characteristics of the microstrip meander-line such as more concentrated electric field distribution, the microstrip meander-line is introduced into the design of traditional cancellation sensor, which is called the meander sensor. Then, the relationship between transmission coefficients of the system and dielectric properties of microfluidics is given in this paper. The simulation results verify the ultra-sensitivity of the meander sensor. Even though the relative permittivity of microfluidics is changed in the order of magnitude 10-2, the measurement results of the meander sensor also change significantly. However, the straight sensor can only measure changes of relative permittivity in the order of magnitude 10-1. What's more, there is a more concentrated measurement range for the meander sensor. This will be more practical for measuring weak changes of dielectric properties caused by the microfluidics itself and its interactions. © 2021 IEEE.

In order to evaluate the performance of wireless communication systems in a faster and more economic fashion, we propose to design the so-called channel simulator, through which wireless channel properties of complex enclosed environments are reconstructed by a simple device. In this sense, channel measurements in specific scenarios, e.g. aircrafts, which are formerly expensive and time-consuming become concise and cost-effective. This paper introduces the concept of channel simulator and describes the design process in detail. Simulated results of wireless channel properties from the simulator are compared with those from a realistic aircraft model, verifying the feasibility and potential of the idea.
