Real-time, accurate and rapid detection of defects in nickel foam is a challenging task and plays a crucial role in the quality control of nickel foam production. Currently, research on deep learning-based industrial defect detection usually uses large neural network models to pursue high accuracy, ignoring model complexity and hardware requirements. In order to reduce the application cost, the Detection method of nickel foam foreign matter based on double-branch lightweight network is proposed. First, a lightweight backbone convolutional network is designed to extract features, which reduces computational complexity while effectively extracting features. Then, atrous convolution is used to further optimize the model accuracy, increasing the receptive field of the convolution without losing information, and ensuring the quality of the extracted features. Finally, we use a dual-branch structure for segmentation and classification to dynamically query the detection results of defects. The experimental results on the nickel foam defect dataset show that our model is able to achieve high detection accuracy and single-sheet detection rate, and has strong competitive accuracy and lower detection rate compared with state-of-the-art detectors amount of calculation.

This paper is focused on the source term estimation (STE) with unknown number of sources. The dispersion model of multiple point sources is constructed firstly. Then the cost function is established by using the outputs of dispersion model and the fixed sensor network's measurements. To ensure finding the global minimum of the cost function, the Improved Cuckoo Search (ICS) algorithm is applied. Simulations with different sensor and noise modes are designed to evaluate the estimating performance. Finally, comparison of ICS, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Genetic Algorithm (GA) proves the superiority of ICS in this problem.

Phase change material (PCM) cooling is a promising approach to battery thermal management, but its wide application is limited by the narrow phase change temperature range. When the PCM temperature is below the melting point, PCM is equivalent to a purely thermally conductive material. When the ambient temperature exceeds the phase change temperature of PCM, PCM melts completely and cannot play the role of battery thermal management. Therefore, a novel petal-type battery thermal management system (BTMS) with dual PCMs is proposed in this paper to solve the environmental adaptability problem of PCM cooling. The thermal performance of the system at different ambient temperatures and different discharge rates is investigated by numerical simulation methods. The results show that the maximum temperature of battery at 2 C discharge rate is 30.49 ℃, 34.16 ℃ and 43.70 ℃ at ambient temperatures of 20 ℃, 30 ℃ and 40 ℃, respectively. Compared with the BTMS filled with a single PCM, the thermal performance of the proposed BTMS is particularly good at the high operating temperature represented by 40 ℃. At lower ambient temperatures such as 20 ℃ and 30 ℃, the thermal performance is not the best, but it fully meets the requirements of battery thermal management. Furthermore, the above BTMS is optimized using fin-reinforced heat transfer technology in this paper. The solution with the optimal fin arrangement can reduce the maximum temperature difference by 36.2% and 42.8% and the maximum temperature rise by 5.53% and 29.19% at 30 ℃ and 40 ℃, respectively. © 2022, The Authors. A Novel Petal-Type Battery Thermal Management System with Dual Phase Change Materials

Phase change material (PCM) cooling is a prominent approach for battery thermal management. However, its wide application is limited by the narrow range of phase change temperature. When the temperature of PCM does not reach the phase change temperature range, it is either a pure thermal conductive material or a completely molten liquid material, neither of which can take effect in battery thermal management. The present study provides a novel petal-type battery thermal management system (BTMS) with dual PCMs, which has greatly enhanced environmental adaptability compared to other PCM-based BTMS. The thermal performance of the BTMS at different ambient temperatures and discharge rates is investigated by numerical simulation methods. The results show that when the ambient temperature is 20 °C, 30 °C and 40 °C, the maximum temperature of battery ( [[EQUATION]] ) at 2 C discharge rate is 30.49 °C, 34.16 °C and 43.7 °C, respectively. Considering the three common ambient temperature conditions comprehensively, the thermal performance and environmental adaptability of the proposed BTMS is the best compared to the other two conventional BTMS with a single filled PCM. Furthermore, the above BTMS is optimized using fin-reinforced heat transfer technology in this paper. At an ambient temperature of 30 °C, the solution with a better fin arrangement can reduce the maximum temperature difference ( [[EQUATION]] ) by 42.8% and the maximum temperature rise ( [[EQUATION]] ) by 29.19% compared to the system without fins, respectively. © 2022, The Authors. A feasible and viable means for performing surveillance of a hypersonic vehicle is space-based system, which has been used for providing tracking results of near-space vehicles. In this paper, an adaptive infrared tracking method to a hypersonic cruise vehicle (HCV) is proposed. This approach contains three inherent parts: coverage analysis of the system, a space-based bearing-only positioning, and an adaptive tracking approach. An adaptive scheme based on the coverage analysis and the positioning results is proposed to achieve high estimation performance and guarantee generality. Simulation results for an adaptive scaling unscented Kalman filter (ASUKF) indicate the effectiveness of this approach.

Aromatic is a vital chemical raw material and product as well as an essential component for aviation fuel. Bio-based aromatics, especially the monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon, are beneficial for the green chemical process and aviation fuel development. In this research, firstly, the effects of different kinds of metal catalysts (Pt/C, Rh/C, Ru/C, Pd/C, 65 wt% Ni/SiO2–Al2O3) on the pyrolysis behavior and aromatic hydrocarbons selectivity of four kinds of agricultural and forestry waste biomass (wheat straw, rape straw, poplar sawdust, and bamboo powder) were systematically investigated. The research results showed that the selectivity of aromatics has been largely increased in the presence of 65 wt% Ni/SiO2–Al2O3 while the carbon-based noble catalysts had few impacts on aromatics production. Furtherly, zeolite with different Si/Al ratios (5:18, 5:50, 5:85, 5:300, and 5:470) and the Ni loading amounts (5, 10, 15, 20, 25 wt%) were systematically studied. The series of Ni/ZSM-5 catalyst reduced the phenolic components in the pyrolysis products, and significantly increased the relative content of the target product aromatics, and the proportion of monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the aromatic. The research results showed the ZSM-5 with the Si/Al ratio of 5:18 had the best catalytic properties for aromatic production. The loading of 10 wt% of Ni (10 wt% Ni/ZSM-5, Si/Al = 5:18) further boosted the catalytic performance for wheat straw, achieving the highest relative concentration of aromatic at 67%, of which the ratio of monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon was 55%. © 2022 Elsevier Ltd

The study is based on the combination of communication relay and energy absorption of solar-powered unmanned aerial vehicle(SUAV),which is a multiple extremum *** SUAV kinematics model is changed from two dimensions to three dimensions with adding the interference of sea breeze to reduce or offset the impact of wind on mission optimization and improve the energy *** the performance of the on-line optimization of SUAVs,the particle swarm optimizer(PSO) algorithm is replaced by a faster grey wolf optimizer(GWO) *** order to accelerate the convergence speed of the algorithm and avoid falling into local optimality,a penalty function is added in this paper to judge whether there is a SUAV as the last branch of the communication *** results prove the necessity of the model with consideration of the wind and the effectiveness of the methods.

The higher demand for wireless communication services has promoted the widespread use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), but the spectrum resources for UAVs communication are becoming scarce. UAVs can use spectrum prediction to find available frequency bands and share spectrum with other users to solve the problem of spectrum resources shortage. However, due to the rapid speed of UAVs and constantly changing spectral environment, it is difficult to obtain the historical data of the next location in advance. Therefore, the existing methods cannot be well applied to the actual scenario of UVA flying randomly in a certain area. Based on the concept of homotopy theory (HT) and Hidden Markov model (HMM), we propose a new method that first estimates the historical information of the next location, then performs the spectrum prediction at the next moment. We conduct experiments with simulated data, and the results show that the proposed method can effectively predict the spectrum state of UAV flying in a specific area on the premise of obtaining the prior information of limited locations.

This paper adopts Tube robust model predictive control (RMPC) approach to achieve the trajectory tracking control for flexible air-breathing hypersonic vehicle (FAHV) with lose efficiency fault of actuator. First of all, Jacobian linearization and tensor-product transformation are used to build the polytopic linear parameter varying (LPV) model for FAHV. Then, the FAHV faulty model is obtained by transforming lose efficiency fault of actuator into the additional disturbance term. Thirdly, fault-tolerant control is realized by composite control law. The error system is obtained by the difference between the actual and the nominal system. By designing the minimum robust positive invariant set (mRPI), the error system state is limited to the mRPI set. The additional disturbance term in mRPI set is suppressed by the auxiliary robust feedback control law. The nominal control law provides a reasonable trajectory for the actual system. And it is calculated by the convex optimization problem, which is constrained by linear matrix inequality (LMI). The fault-tolerant controller guarantees that the actual trajectory is located in the mRPI set all the time and centered on the nominal trajectory. Finally, the designed Tube RMPC controller is validated by simulation.

On background of cooperative air combat, state estimation of aerial maneuvering target with multi-sensor cooperative reconnaissance is discussed in this paper. Multiple moving platforms equipped with different kinds of detectors construct heterogeneous mobile sensor networks. Graph theory is adopted to describe the communication topology of the networks. In consideration of detection range limit, the number of sensors participating in the detection changes over time. An interactive multiple model algorithm (IMM) is utilized for target motion modeling. The local observation information is processed by Cubature Information Filter (CIF). A weighted average consensus-based state estimation method for heterogeneous mobile sensor networks with varying nodes is put forward to fuse information from different sensors and obtain a consistent and precise tracking result. Moreover, the stability analysis of proposed method is provided detailed. Finally, numerical simulation results are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.
