Refrigeration in the liquid helium temperature range provides vital technological support for many scientific frontiers and engineering *** considerable magnetocaloric effect(MCE)makes EuTiO_(3)a potential candidate for magnetic refrigeration near liquid helium *** interestingly,the magnetic transition from antiferromagnetism to ferromagnetism offers the possibility to tailor the magnetism and improve the MCE of this magnetic *** this study,the magnetic properties and MCE of EuTi_(0.875)Zr_(0.125)O_(3)were systematically investigated by first-principles calculation and *** substitution of Zr induces a significant lattice expansion and alters the electronic interactions,leading to a dominance of ferromagnetism in the *** low-field MCE performance has been achieved attributed to the enhanced ferromagnetism and low saturation *** the field change of 0-1 T,the maximum magnetic entropy change(−△S_(M)^(max))and adiabatic temperature change(△T_(ad)^(max))are 17.9 J kg^(-1)K^(-1)and 6.1 K,*** is worth noting that the−△S_(M)^(max)of EuTi_(0.875)Zr_(0.125)O_(3)reaches 10.3 J kg^(-1)K^(-1)for a field change of 0-0.5 T,making it one of the best magnetocaloric materials ever reported operating in the liquid helium temperature range.

This report provides a complete range of WiFi cybersecurity solutions. The Advanced Encryption Protocols Algorithm protects data via AES and complicated math. It takes 20 steps. The flexible Behavioral Analysis for Intrusion Detection Algorithm uses score, mean, and standard deviation functions to find real-time events that were not expected. The User-Centric Security Education Programs Algorithm examines flaws and scores training efficacy in 14 steps to improve users' understanding. AI algorithm integration gathers danger data for real-time detection. User-centered security education program behavior modifications help it achieve this. Finally, the user authentication using the biometric recognition algorithm uses biometrics to verify entrance. Ablation studies examine each algorithm's input to determine their defense system functions. Performance assessments and interactive visualizations reveal that AI-driven threat intelligence outperforms choices across key criteria. This report recommends encryption, behavioral analysis, user education, AI-driven intelligence, and fingerprint identification to defend against various threats. The analysis explains how each program works and how potent it is when combined to boost cybersecurity defenses in a shifting threat environment. © 2024 IEEE.

Dielectric capacitors with high power density and fast charge-discharge speed play an essential role in the development of pulsed power *** increased demands for miniaturization and practicality of pulsed power equipment also necessitate the development of dielectric materials that possess high energy density while maintaining ultrahigh efficiency(η).In particular,ultrahigh efficiency signifies minimal energy loss,which is essential for practical applications but challenging to effectively ***,we demonstrate a strategy of incorporating heterovalent elements into Ba(Zr_(0.1)Ti_(0.9))O_(3),which contributes to achieving relaxor ferroelectric ceramics and reducing lattice strain,thereby improving the comprehensive energy storage ***,optimal energy storage performance is attained in 0.85Ba(Zr_(0.1)Ti_(0.9))O_(3)-0.15Bi(Zn_(2/3)Ta_(1/3))O_(3)(BZT-0.15BiZnTa),with an ultrahighηof 97.37%at 440 kV/cm(an advanced level in the lead-free ceramics)and an excellent recoverable energy storage density(Wrec)of 3.74 J/cm^(3).Notably,the BZT-0.15BiZnTa ceramics also exhibit exceptional temperature stability,maintaining fluctuations in Wrec within∼10%andηconsistently exceeding 90% across the wide temperature range of−55℃ to 160℃,and under a high electric field of 250 kV/*** these features demonstrate that the relaxor and lattice strain engineering strategies have been successful in achieving high-performance lead-free ceramics,paving the way for designing high-efficiency dielectric capacitors with a wide temperature range.

Optimal, Almost Optimal Few-Weight Linear Codes and Related Quantum Codes

In eight published papers in IEEE Transactions on information Theory, infinite families of optimal few-weight binary and q-ary linear codes were constructed and their weight distributions were determined. These codes are linear codes meeting the Griesmer bound. We indicate that many Griesmer codes constructed in these papers are not new. They are actually Solomon-Stiffler codes invented in 1965. Therefore weight distributions of some special binary or q-ary Solomon-Stiffler codes were determined in the papers mentioned above. From a similar geometric approach as Solomon-Stiffler codes, we construct ten infinite families of binary, ternary and quaternary few-weight, optimal, almost optimal and near-optimal linear codes close to the Griesmer bound and their weight distributions are determined. These linear codes have positive Griesmer defects up to five, and thus not Solomon-Stiffler codes and Griesmer codes from minihypers. Moreover, many optimal, best known and almost optimal quantum codes of small lengths, comparing with Grassl’s table on quantum codes, are constructed from the same geometric approach as binary Solomon-Stiffler codes. © 1963-2012 IEEE.

Wearable bioimpedance spectroscopy (BIS) devices are becoming increasingly popular due to their portability and low power consumption. However, improving power efficiency remains a significant challenge. One proposed solution is to reduce the number of excitation frequencies in the stimulation signal. This study investigates how reducing the number of used frequencies affects bioimpedance spectroscopy performance through simulations using synthetic data derived from a Cole-Cole model incorporating a Constant Phase Element (CPE). Simulations were conducted at various noise levels to evaluate how noise impacts the relationship between frequency and impedance. The results indicate a correlation between the number of frequencies used in BIS and the accuracy of CPE parameter extraction. This is particularly evident for α parameters of 0.8 and higher. Conversely, lowering the α value increases errors, even when a higher number of frequencies is used. © 2024 IEEE.

The extra-large scale multiple-input multiple-output(XL-MIMO)for the beyond fifth/sixth generation mobile communications is a promising technology to provide Tbps data transmission and stable access ***,the extremely large antenna array aperture arouses the channel near-field effect,resulting in the deteriorated data rate and other challenges in the practice communication ***,multi-panel MIMO technology has attracted extensive attention due to its flexible configuration,low hardware cost,and wider *** combining the XL-MIMO and multi-panel array structure,we construct multi-panel XL-MIMO and apply it to massive Internet of Things(IoT)***,we model the multi-panel XL-MIMO-based near-field channels for massive IoT access scenarios,where the electromagnetic waves corresponding to different panels have different angles of arrival/departure(AoAs/AoDs).Then,by exploiting the sparsity of the near-field massive IoT access channels,we formulate a compressed sensing based joint active user detection(AUD)and channel estimation(CE)problem which is solved by AMP-EM-MMV *** simulation results exhibit the superiority of the AMP-EM-MMV based joint AUD and CE scheme over the baseline algorithms.

The meta-heuristic algorithm is used in the research of various complex problems. Due to the limitations of the original meta-heuristic algorithm, many improved meta-heuristic algorithms have been proposed, such as compact, adaptive, multi-objective and parallel schemes. Among them, the parallel strategy may get a significant improvement for related applications. This paper mainly studies the application of parallel computing in meta-heuristic algorithms. There are two main types of parallelism: one is absolute parallelism, using multiple processors which can solve optimization problems with high computational costs and improve execution efficiency. The other is virtual parallelism (multi-grouping), which decomposes the population into multiple sub-populations, and each sub-population communicates between species to generate better solutions. In addition, the combination of parallel computing and meta-heuristic algorithms can solve a wide variety of application problems: path planning, engineering design, large-scale optimization, image segmentation, neural networks and prediction problems, etc. This paper presents a comprehensive study and systematic survey of parallel meta-heuristics. © 2022, Journal of Network Intelligence.
