The COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on people's health, leading to an increased demand for self-improvement methods, such as Yoga. However, practicing Yoga without guidance is challenging due to the complexity of poses and the risk of injury. The authors propose a new method for classifying Yoga poses from images to address this issue. Although previous studies have achieved up to 99.33% accuracy, they involve only 3 classes, only a fraction of the 82 poses in the Yoga-82 dataset used in this study. We enhance a pre-trained DenseNet121 and achieve an accuracy of 88.89%, higher than the method by Verma ***. at CVPR workshop 2020, which reached 79.31%. Although data for training is just a subset of Yoga82 dataset, the model has less complexity, about 10 million parameters. Moreover, using a customized DenseNet121 model as a baseline, the authors enhanced its accuracy by incorporating a hierarchical structure and grouping data. Then, the authors proposed two methods, XGBoost and YOLOv5, working on parent labels to improve the accuracy of similar-looking poses and get a total accuracy of 87.33%. The approaches demonstrated in this paper could be applied to other sports or physical actions, indicating their potential for broader use. © 2023 IEEE.

The Radio Frequency Fingerprint Identification (RFFI) technique utilizes the subtle and unintentional modulation present in the transmitted RF waveform, caused by the non-ideal characteristics of the device, to uniquely identify an emitter. RFFI has recently gained significant attention, and deep learning (DL) approach has achieved superior performance. In this paper, we study the DL-based RFFI with an emphasis on the fingerprint contamination by receivers. Specifically, during reception, the receivers' fingerprints are inevitably introduced, and different receivers affect emitters' fingerprints differently, thereby degrading recognition performance when the RFFI recognition model is deployed at different receivers. To mitigate the receivers' effect, we propose a receiver-independent recognition model based on the idea of feature disentanglement. With the aid of some carefully designed model structure, loss functions and training strategy, the proposed model learns a feature space, in which the emitters' features are disentangled from the receivers', through multi-receiver's training data. When deploying the model on a new receiver, the emitter-dependent features are exploited to achieve receiver-independent identification. Experiments on two real-world datasets demonstrate that our method significantly outperforms the baseline method without considering fingerprint contamination. © 2023 IEEE.

The integrated control method, active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) combined with internal model control (IMC), is proposed for non-minimum phase systems. The ADRC combined with IMC is to reduce the influence of zeros on right half plant (RHP), system uncertainty and outer disturbance. An improved IMC is put in the inner loop and ADRC is adopted in the outer loop. In order to enhance the system's stability, an approximate zero phase error model of controlled plant (ZPEM) is used as the internal model in the IMC control loop where the feedback of the inner loop is the dynamic weighted filter sum of the real output and the ZPEM output. The theoretical analysis and simulations verify effectiveness of the proposed method for non-minimum phase systems. © 2023 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

We propose a time-domain discontinuous Galerkin volume integral equation (DGTD-VIE) method for transient scattering property from magnetized plasma. Due to the dispersive and anisotropic permittivity of the magnetized plasma, the relationship between the volumetric current and the total electric field is established through recursive convolution. Numerical examples are presented to validate the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2023 IEEE.

The diversity and complexity of typical scenarios of intelligent and connected vehicles (ICVs) bring serious risks to the data security of vehicles. To avoid the potential data security risks of ICVs effectively, this paper proposes a data risk analysis method for vehicles based on the characteristics of data assets. Considering the similarity between the internet of things (IoT) system and the internet of vehicles system, this method organizes the data assets of the vehicles combined with the layered architecture of the IoT system. The data security risks of vehicles are analyzed from the aspects of threat analysis, vulnerability analysis, and risk quantification. The risk points of vehicles are analyzed, so as to provide model design and verification methods for data security risk analysis of ICVs. © ASCE.

Success of an Enterprise depends on the quality of the data available in its backup. The data need to be consistent, error-free and maintain its integrity irrespective of any threats in any form. Quality data is aka clean data helps in the decision-making process of the Enterprise. However due to multiple entry points available in populating a database, there exists the problem of duplication data, which is one form of dirty data. This duplication data has to be removed without compromising the privacy and integrity of the data. The automated computing algorithms have been limited in its capability for the tasks such as labelling, filtering, translating or transcribing data etc. Hence, crowd sourcing famously referred as human computing are used as supplement to identify and eliminate the duplications available in data. However, it is important to understand that the human crowd is prone in error making and it is essential to choose a qualified crowd that does less error. Because the data labelled by the human crowd is fed to the Neural networks further to identify and eliminate the duplication. This paper provides a conceptual framework that aims to identify the duplicate data through qualified crowds and remove the identified duplication using neural network techniques. Sparse vector coding (SVC) is a promising short-packet transmission method for ultra reliable low latency communication (URLLC) in next-generation communication networks. In this paper, a block SVC (BSVC) based short-packet transmission scheme is proposed to further enhance the transmission performance of SVC. The core idea behind the proposed scheme is to transmit short-packet data information after block sparse transformation. At the transmitter, the transmitted information bits are divided into two parts: one part is mapped into the non-zero indexes of block sparse vectors, and the other part is mapped into non-zero values through quadrature amplitude modulation. After pseudo-random spreading, the block sparse vectors are mapped to time-frequency resources for transmission. At the receiver, the decoding problem is transformed into a block sparse signal recovery problem. A cyclic block matching pursuit algorithm is proposed for accurate decoding by leveraging block-structured sparse prior information. Simulation results verify that the proposed BSVC scheme outperforms the existing SVC schemes in terms of packet error rate and spectral efficiency. © 2024 IEEE.

相较于一种类型的干旱,几种类型的干旱同时发生的复合型干旱事件对人类社会造成的危害更加严重.本研究采用CMIP6资料,研究中国复合型干旱事件及其相关社会经济暴露度的未来变化.结果表明,西北北部,西南和华南地区复合型干旱事件频次,持续时间和严重程度增加,而华北和东北地区则减少.复合型干旱事件的人口暴露度在长江流域南部大幅增加,在长江流域以北的东部大幅减少,其中气候和人口均对人口暴露度的变化有重要影响.由于GDP的快速增长,中国未来几乎所有地区复合型干旱事件的GDP暴露度增加,特别是在中国东部,GDP效应对GDP暴露度变化的相对贡献最大.
