In this paper, a dual-band structurally embedded high-temperature resistant antenna operating at X-band and Ka-band is designed with high isolation and wide beam. The dual-band antenna is composed of a ceramic dielectric double-sided printed dipole antenna (DSPDA) connected with substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) and a ceramic dielectric rod antenna (DRA) fed by the dielectric-filled waveguide, whose broadside is replaced by the SIW. High isolation performance can be realized due to polarization orthogonality between DSPDA and DRA. The dual-band antenna is embedded in the center position of the thermal insulation material, which is packaged by the thermal protection shield. Because of the lower thermal conductivity of the ceramic dielectric of DRA and the longer gap between DSPDA and the top of the thermal protection shield, the high-temperature resistant antenna can achieve good thermal insulation performance. Under the continuous time of the 1900s and surface heat source temperature of 1200°C, the feed ports can be kept within 165°C © 2023 IEEE.

Internet of Things (IoT) is rapidly developing technologies and the Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of physical items or effects embedded with computer software, detectors, and network connectivity. The Internet of Things also addresses the issue of centralizing physical bias management online. We are leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT) idea to construct a system that will automatically monitor all artificial processes and issue warnings or expert comments when necessary. nowadays, gas leakage is a serious concern in the house and as well as vigilance. If the gas sense is indeed low, it's because we've been too careless, intolerant, or both to look for it. If the gas position is raised, however, calamity may ensue. In this research, the crucial concept is introduced to prevent this catastrophe from occurring. In this study, we propose an alternate approach to this impending calamity and design a system with integrated sensors, controllers, and some IoT-assisted software. The suggested method, known as the Internet of Things based Industrial Safety System (IoTISS), is compared against the more established Industrial Safety System (ISS) to see how well it performs. In this system, we are monitoring the detection of gas leakages with various warning characteristics as well as other devices are used for monitoring various aspects like humidity and temperature using DHT22 sensor, MQ2 gas monitoring sensor, fire sensor and NodeMCU ESP8266 WiFi module. NodeMCU ESP8266, which doubles as a WiFi module, will receive data from all of these types of sensors. © 2024 IEEE.

Full-marathon and Half-marathon distances are categorized as road running. Full-marathon running is becoming increasingly popular, and Half-marathon is increasing worldwide in both sexes and all age groups. Some aspects might relate to Full-marathon and Half-marathon running performance during training and races. technology also plays an essential role in supporting runners and running races. technology like artificial intelligence (AI) now supports the running athlete, not only predicting performance and results. It can also be used later to help the coach generate training programs for the athlete. This research aimed to find many aspects of marathons and performance and analyze them to see if artificial intelligence could later support them. It used secondary data and a systematic literature review proposed by Kitchenham. Out of the 58 articles, 21 of them (36.21%) received a score of 1 from Q1. Additionally, 19 articles (32.76%) received a score of 1 from both Q2 and Q3. Among the 58 articles, 9 (15.52%) received a total score of 3, with all three Q1, Q2, and Q3 scores being 1. This indicates that artificial intelligence will likely support the content of these nine articles. Several factors were also discovered to be connected to marathons and athletic performance. These findings suggested that additional investigation into marathons and performance, later backed by artificial intelligence, remained pertinent and essential. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to realize the autonomous collision avoidance of unmanned surface vehicle(USV),a collision avoidance system(CAS) for USV based on the Tunable Fast Marching Square method(TFMS) and the Finite Control Set-Model Predictive Control(FCS-MPC) strategy is ***,the navigation simulation model of the USV is ***,the TFMS is adopted to get the optimal path from start point to destination point in given ***-MPC is used under the constraints of local environment and dynamic model of USV to ensure collision avoidance during ***,the track point in the global planned path is served as the local target points of collision avoidance strategy,so the USV can arrive at the final target points safely and *** experiments are carried out with real coastal map as environmental constraints to validate the effectiveness of proposed CAS.

In this paper, based on parallel alternative projections Gerchberg-Saxton (GS) algorithm, we propose a central carrier-assisted phase retrieval scheme (PAP-CCA-PR). This scheme constructs a PR receiver with multiple parallel dispersive elements for the first time and implements the fusion of parallel alternative projections and central carrier-assisted techniques in the GS algorithm, which improves the convergence speed of the algorithm and reduces the system carrier-to-signal power ratio (CSPR) requirement. Compared to the existing scheme, for a 30 GBaud 16-quadrature amplitude modulation (16-QAM) signal, transmitting 80 km of standard single-mode fiber (SSMF), and meeting the 7% forward error correction (FEC) threshold condition, the CSPR and number of iterations (NOI) of PAP- CCA-PR scheme can be reduced to - dB and 4, respectively, with the guard band reduced to 2.6 GHz. © 2023 IEEE.

Smart city-aspiring urban areas should have a number of necessary elements in place to achieve the intended *** controlling and management of traffic conditions,increased safety and surveillance,and enhanced incident avoidance and management should be top priorities in smart city *** the same time,Vehicle License Plate Number Recognition(VLPNR)has become a hot research topic,owing to several real-time applications like automated toll fee processing,traffic law enforcement,private space access control,and road traffic *** VLPNR is a computer vision-based technique which is employed in the recognition of automobiles based on vehicle number *** current research paper presents an effective Deep Learning(DL)-based VLPNR called DLVLPNR model to identify and recognize the alphanumeric characters present in license *** proposed model involves two main stages namely,license plate detection and Tesseract-based character *** detection of alphanumeric characters present in license plate takes place with the help of fast RCNN with Inception V2 ***,the characters in the detected number plate are extracted using Tesseract Optical Character Recognition(OCR)*** performance of DL-VLPNR model was tested in this paper using two benchmark databases,and the experimental outcome established the superior performance of the model compared to other methods.

Effective acquisition of 3D planar features from a 2D image for immersive AR applications is challenging without any 3D depth information. In this paper, we present a novel planar object placement (POP) system for rational insertion of 3D objects on plane surfaces and fitting their plane orientations in a given 2D image. The POP system is composed of an adaptive edge extractor (AEE), a vanishing point detector (VPD), a rational fitting transformer (RFT) and a plane normal detection network (PNDnet), which performs the estimation of planar features. With the inputs of the color image and the guided edge map retrieved by the AEE, the PNDnet based on a gating weighted U-Net, whose gating weights are controlled by global cross-level connection (GCC) blocks, can properly extract 3D information including planar pixel-wise normal map, semantic plane-segmented map and plane-wise normal vectors. Simultaneously, with plane-wise normal vectors and the VPD-estimated vanishing points, the RFT can easily induce the best placement position for projecting the AR object on a destination plane with better coherent 3D perspectives. Besides, the POP system allows the users to make the subtle tunes of 3D orientation to the inserted object for personal preferences. Experimental results show that the proposed POP system, which successfully guides the 3D-inserted objects to match up the surfaces and orientations of the planes in the target image, will become an effective AR tool for the insertion of 3D objects in target images and videos in the future. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.

Autonomous planning of navigation trajectory is a key research element of USV and a basic condition for safe and autonomous *** this paper,an autonomous planning collision avoidance control algorithm for USV is *** is used to trajectory planning and dynamic window method for real-time collision avoidance,a hybrid planning algorithm of dynamic path planning algorithm and parallel planning of autonomous collision avoidance control algorithm is built to achieve autonomous navigation control of *** setting method of local target points has been improved to shorten the running time of the control *** validation was carried out in different static and dynamic environments.A realistic collision avoidance environment model is established by extracting the environmental data from the port map of Dalian *** result demonstrates that the method is effective in controlling the USV to sail safely and quickly in complex real scenarios with various dynamic impediments.
