This paper presents a method of generating sub-nanosecond microwave pulses with a high compression factor using a reflection structure. This method can reduce the length of the compressor and has a high compression factor, which can further enhance the power level of broadband vacuum electron amplifiers. In the experiment, a microwave pulse with a duration of 0.257 ns and a high compression factor of 43.3 is generated. The experiment is in good agreement with our theory and simulation. © 2024 IEEE.

Semisupervised Transfer Boosting (SS-TrBoosting)

Semisupervised domain adaptation (SSDA) aims at training a high-performance model for a target domain using few labeled target data, many unlabeled target data, and plenty of auxiliary data from a source domain. Previous works in SSDA mainly focused on learning transferable representations across domains. However, it is difficult to find a feature space where the source and target domains share the same conditional probability distribution. Additionally, there is no flexible and effective strategy extending existing unsupervised domain adaptation (UDA) approaches to SSDA settings. In order to solve the above two challenges, we propose a novel fine-tuning framework, semisupervised transfer boosting (SS-TrBoosting). Given a well-trained deep learning-based UDA or SSDA model, we use it as the initial model, generate additional base learners by boosting, and then use all of them as an ensemble. More specifically, half of the base learners are generated by supervised domain adaptation, and half by semisupervised learning. Furthermore, for more efficient data transmission and better data privacy protection, we propose a source data generation approach to extend SS-TrBoosting to semisupervised source-free domain adaptation (SS-SFDA). Extensive experiments showed that SS-TrBoosting can be applied to a variety of existing UDA, SSDA, and SFDA approaches to further improve their performance. © 2020 IEEE.

A compact sheet beam extended interaction oscillator (SBEIO) with frequency of 13.986 GHz is proposed in this paper. The model adopts a ladder structure with six gaps and operates in the TM11-2π mode. By optimizing the structure through the MATLAB program of the nonlinear theoretical simulation designed in our group, the efficiency is increased from 23.6% to 32.1%. The voltage and current of the electron beam are respectively 45 kV, 14 A. The current density remains at 50 A/cm2, which is suitable for the application of the periodic permanent magnet and beneficial for compact overall structure. The output power reaches 157 KW. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, an inverse synthetic aperture radar imaging method based on multiple norm constrained generalized orthogonal matching pursuit (MNGOMP) algorithm is proposed to improve the imaging process of inverse synthetic aperture radar is prone to noise interference in compressed sensing environment. Orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) and generalized orthogonal matching pursuit (GOMP) converge slowly in radar imaging and are susceptible to noise interference. Therefore, multiple norm constraints were introduced into the iteration update to improve convergence speed and accuracy and enhance noise resistance. The results show that this method is effective in suppressing unnecessary clutter and enhancing desired target. © 2023 IEEE.

An efficient collector is one of the key factors in improving the overall efficiency of a sheet beam traveling wave tube(SB-TWT). In this paper, K-means algorithm is used to process the massive data of sheet electron beam (EB) after beam-wave interaction, so that a more representative and smaller amount of data is obtained. These data will be imported into the CST Tracking module for the quickly simulation design of the collector. The designed two-stage depressed collector is applied to a 6 kW continuous wave Ku-band SB-TWT with 26 kV Voltage and 1.3 A current. The collector efficiency is up to 80.79% with a backflow current of 0.13%. The overall efficiency of SB-TWT reaches about 52.9%. © 2023 IEEE.

Dear Editor,Two-dimensional(2-D) systems have wide applications in image data processing,gas absorption and fluid dynamics analysis [1]-[3].When there exist abrupt changes in 2-D systems,they are usually modeled by 2-D Markov jump systems(MJSs) or 2-D semi-Markov jump systems(SMJSs).This letter investigates the control of 2-D SMJSs based on a novel mode generation mechanism,which could avoid mode ambiguousness phenomenon caused by the evolution of system mode in two different *** criterion that guarantees the almost surely exponential stability of the system is obtained.A thermal process is studied to demonstrate the availability of the proposed method.

Aiming at the research status of formation control and cooperative guidance technology of multi unmanned aircrafts, this paper introduces various methods of formation control technology and cooperative guidance technology. In the cooperative combat mission of UAV cluster, the collaborative estimation of targets by airborne multi-source heterogeneous sensors can make the utmost of the multivariate detection performance of moving sensors placed in multiple spatial positions in complex confrontation environments, in order to deal with the problem of independent estimation failure of sensors carried by single aircraft under the multiple compound interference of non-cooperative targets. In this paper, the typical target motion model, estimation model and interference model are established, then a collaborative estimation method of airborne target detection sensors with different detection accuracy and different interference countermeasure capability is designed for each aircraft in the UAV cluster, based on spatial allocation strategy, nonlinear filtering, interference detection, consistency correlation and information fusion. It is verified by Monte Carlo simulation study that this method can guarantee the obtainment of continuous and accurate guidance information for each aircraft in the cluster, so as to improve the strike accuracy of each UAV and complete the strike mission. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
