In practical engineering, it is usually difficult to label monitoring data, and the fault diagnosis accuracy is not high in strong noise environment. To solve the above problems, this paper uses Cwt-CatGAN method to process signals and diagnose faults. In this method, CWT is first used to convert one-dimensional original vibration signals into two-dimensional time–frequency graphs as the input of classification generation admixture network. Then, the CatGAN model is obtained through the adversarial training process, and fake samples similar to the extraction distribution of CWT are generated. Finally, the input samples are clustered into certain categories. In addition, the performance of the Cwt-CatGAN method is verified by using the classical rotating machine data set, the experiment is compared with the unsupervised fault diagnosis model CatAAE. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

With the rapid development of information technologies such as digital twin, extended reality, and blockchain,the hype around "metaverse" is increasing at astronomical speed. However, much attention has been paid to its entertainment and social functions. Considering the openness and interoperability of metaverses, the market of quality inspection promises explosive growth. In this paper, taking advantage of metaverses, we first propose the concept of Automated Quality Inspection(Auto QI), which performs integrated inspection covering the entire manufacturing process, including Quality of Materials, Quality of Manufacturing(Qo M), Quality of Products, Quality of Processes(Qo P), Quality of Systems, and Quality of Services(Qo S). Based on the scenarios engineering theory, we discuss how to perform interactions between metaverses and the physical world for virtual design instruction and physical validation feedback. Then we introduce a bottomup inspection device development workflow with productivity tools offered by metaverses, making development more effective and efficient than ever. As the core of quality inspection,we propose Quality Transformers to complete detection task,while federated learning is integrated to regulate data *** summary, we point out the development directions of quality inspection under metaverse tide.

In this paper, the stability analysis of Load frequency control (LFC) systems with time-varying delay is conducted. Firstly, an augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii (L-K) functional is designed to incorporate the relevant information of the delay state. Then, the functional derivatives are estimated using an auxiliary-function-based integral inequality in conjunction with an improved reciprocally convex inequality. Furthermore, the correlation function is processed through a quadratic function negative definite derivation. Finally, case studies established on a one-area LFC system are conducted to demonstrate the superiority of the method, and its accuracy is verified through a simulation case. © 2023 IEEE.

The study of fault mechanisms plays a crucial role in the field of fault diagnosis. The phenomenon of rolling element slippage is inevitable. In order to more accurately describe the phenomenon of rolling element slippage in the defective area, this paper employs the instantaneous center method and the theorem of three centers to represent the centerline velocity of the rolling element. Due to the change in linear velocity when the rolling element slips, the magnitude of the impact force is calculated according to the principle of collision. Finally, focusing on deep groove ball bearings as the research object, a fault dynamic model is established to simulate the slippage of the rolling element after being subjected to impact force in the defective area. The model is solved using the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method, and the results are simulated. Through experimental simulation analysis, the fault characteristic frequencies obtained from the proposed model are compared with theoretical values, with errors falling within the range of 1 to 2 Hz. Therefore, this provides preliminary validation of the correctness of the proposed model. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

To cover an unknown area, the agents usually work with SLAM or path-planning-based schemes, and they often rely on stable data communication for task assignment to minimize overlapped coverage. However, the unavailability of a wireless network in an extreme environment, resulting in reduced ability to identify a homogeneous agent and possession of limited sensing range, poses a challenge to the cooperation, since many existing control algorithms turn out to be inapplicable. For this configuration, the paper proposes an improved sweep coverage control strategy from our previous work which requires a constant connection among index neighbors to string them up and generate a flexible formation that adapts to the unstructured environment. In this work, efforts are made to build a coverage formation by establishing a connected linear sensing topology among the agents via coordinate compression and active reconnection tactics, where the adjacent agents are the closest ones without knowing each other's index number. The parameters in the proposed control law are discussed and examined in a bunch of simulations with a conclusion of how they affect the performance of the coverage control. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Realizing single light solitons that are stable in high dimensions is a long-standing goal in research of nonlinear optical ***,we address a scheme to generate stable two-dimensional solitons in a cold Rydberg atomic system with a parity-time(PT) symmetric moiré optical *** uncover the formation,properties,and their dynamics of fundamental and two-pole gap solitons as well as vortical *** PT symmetry,lattice strength,and the degrees of local and nonlocal nonlinearity are tunable and can be used to control *** stability regions of these solitons are evaluated in two numerical ways:linear-stability analysis and time evolutions with *** results provide an insightful understanding of solitons physics in combined versatile platforms of PT-symmetric systems and Rydberg–Rydberg interaction in cold gases.

Inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging based on compressed sensing (CS) theory can recover complete information from limited ISAR echo signals and reduce the imaging cost of ISAR. The traditional Smooth L0 norm (SL0) algorithm can effectively solve the problem of ISAR signal recovery in the case of high SNR. However, there are usually strong noise and clutter in radar imaging, which greatly reduces the quality of ISAR signal recovery. On the basis of the traditional SL0 algorithm, this paper introduces the dictionary optimization process and proposes the dictionary optimization SL0 algorithm (DO-SL0). By optimizing the dictionary to adapt to the characteristics of the target signal, the performance of signal recovery is improved, the quality of sparse signal recovery under low SNR environment is improved while the cost is controlled, and the ISAR imaging results are effectively improved. In this paper, image entropy (ENT) is used to evaluate and compare ISAR images in low SNR environments using DO-SL0, SL0 and OMP methods respectively. Numerical experiment results show that under the same test conditions, the image entropy of sparse restored ISAR images using DO-SL0 method is lower than that of the other two methods, which verifies that the new algorithm can obtain higher quality restored signals in low SNR environment.

A generic anti-windup compensation strategy under Linear Active Disturbance Rejection control scheme is proposed. The difference, between the controller output and the actuator output, after multiplied by a tunable parameter, together with controller output, is fed back to the extended state observer to compensate controller windup. While windup problem arises in control system, the controller output is expectedly produced, and the disadvantageous influence of nonlinearity on closed-loop dynamics is distinctly alleviated. The approach is employed to a near space vehicle with fin-deflection saturation. The numerical simulations show that the proposed approach has the better effectiveness in active disturbance rejection control designed situation than some previous anti-windup compensation strategy. © 2023 IEEE.

Recent research on human pose estimation exploits complex structures to improve performance on benchmark datasets, ignoring the resource overhead and inference speed when the model is actually deployed. In this paper, we lighten the computation cost and parameters of the deconvolution head network in SimpleBaseline and introduce an attention mechanism that utilizes original, inter-level, and intra-level information to intensify the accuracy. Additionally, we propose a novel loss function called heatmap weighting loss, which generates weights for each pixel on the heatmap that makes the model more focused on keypoints. Experiments demonstrate our method achieves a balance between performance, resource volume, and inference speed. Specifically, our method can achieve 65.3 AP score on COCO test-dev, while the inference speed is 55 FPS and 18 FPS on the mobile GPU and CPU, respectively. © 2023, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In recent years, intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs) have developed quickly and have been progressively introduced into the international market. Nevertheless, the operation of ICVs produces a large amount of important data coming from driving vehicle and necessitating cross-border transit. As the imperfections of the regulatory framework and the infancy of protective solutions for the ICV data, these data are vulnerable to the threats like eavesdropping and tampering during cross-border transmission. The private information, especially the data barred from leaving the country, will be probably leaked to other nations, endangering individual privacy and national security. Thus, the purpose of this manuscript is to analyze the security risks of cross-border data in ICVs and provide risk mitigation strategies. The legal requirements and pertinent cross-border materials need to be sorted out firstly to establish a thorough technical process for cross-border compliance of ICV data. Additionally, the ICV data risk analyses will be performed at every stage of the cross-border process. Furthermore, some efficient risk mitigation methods need to be offered to improve the security and dependability of the across-border data of ICVs. To address the problems associated with cross-border data pertaining to ICVs, a classification method for the cross-border data of ICVs will be presented according to current rules and data categorization schemes. Finally, this manuscript provides theoretical underpinnings and useful references for building a cross-border data security protection system, as well as a thorough analysis of the development patterns of cutting-edge technologies for cross-border data. © 2024 IEEE.
