We propose Exposure-NeuS, a high fidelity human head reconstruction method from multi-view images, even from exposure-distorted images. Previous methods either did not reconstruct with sufficient accuracy, such as failing to reconstruct hair, or resulted in artifacts or holes in the reconstructed results due to exposure in the input data. To solve these challenging problems, we improve the original fine sampling of the model by using piecewise power function sampling to obtain sampling points closer to the real surface. And we develop a prior latent code to implicitly model factors such as environment and exposure. Experiments show that we eliminate or reduce the erroneous facial depressions and hair holes that occur in the baseline method during reconstruction. With the development of intelligent agents pursuing humanisation,artificial intelligence must consider emotion,the most basic spiritual need in human *** emotional dialogue systems usually use an external emotional dictionary to select appropriate emotional words to add to the response or concatenate emotional tags and semantic features in the decoding step to generate appropriate ***,selecting emotional words from a fixed emotional dictionary may result in loss of the diversity and consistency of the *** propose a semantic and emotion-based dual latent variable generation model(Dual-LVG)for dialogue systems,which is able to generate appropriate emotional responses without an emotional *** from previous work,the conditional variational autoencoder(CVAE)adopts the standard transformer ***,Dual-LVG regularises the CVAE latent space by introducing a dual latent space of semantics and *** content diversity and emotional accuracy of the generated responses are improved by learning emotion and semantic features ***,the average attention mechanism is adopted to better extract semantic features at the sequence level,and the semi-supervised attention mechanism is used in the decoding step to strengthen the fusion of emotional features of the *** results show that Dual-LVG can successfully achieve the effect of generating different content by controlling emotional factors.

Fly-around is important in many tasks such as on-orbit servicing. When a target exhibits game-playing behavior such as orbit maneuver for evasion, predesigned fly-around formation and control strategies can’t deal with the situation well enough. For mixed cooperative-competitive scenarios, this paper proposes a multi-spacecraft fly-around control method based on deep reinforcement learning. In order to motivate cooperative behavior among chasers, this paper designs structured reward function combining individual reward with collective reward for chasers. Meanwhile, in order to motivate competitive behavior of chasers, this paper designs appropriate reward function for target as practice partner. Self-play training mechanics using PPO algorithm is developed to train the chasers and the target simultaneously. Experiments show chasers can maintain appropriate formation around the target and adjust their formation to adjust to the changes of sunlight direction and unknown target behaviors.

Climbing robots are considered efficient solutions for conducting quality inspections of welds on large storage tanks. Nevertheless, planning the global shortest path along spatially complex cross distributed welds poses a significant challenge for climbing robots. This paper introduces a novel graph-based global shortest climbing path planning method, facilitating swift inspect all welds by the robot. The three-dimensional (3D) weld lines undergo conversion into a two-dimensional (2D) weighted connected graph using a 3D model equivalence mapping approach. The dimensionality-reduced connectivity map is required to be an Euler graph;otherwise, the adoption of the Floyd and KM algorithms is necessary to construct an undirected Euler graph with the minimum total weight. Subsequently, an Euler circuit is searched in the Euler graph, considering the presence of plus edges, through an improved Fleury algorithm to obtain the shortest global path for the climbing robot. The paper also introduces the idea of Euler graph segmentation to address the challenge of Euler circuits in large or symmetric models. Simulations are conducted to validate the effectiveness and performance of the proposed planners. The results demonstrate that our method effectively reduces the length global path and enhances inspection efficiency. © 2025 Acta Press. All rights reserved.

With the rapid growth of internet content, multimodal long document data has become increasingly prominent, drawing significant attention from researchers. However, most existing methods primarily focus on scenarios where all modalities are present, often overlooking more challenging and realistic cases involving missing image modality. To address this limitation, we propose a robust multimodal long document classification (MLDC) framework that integrates hierarchical modeling and dynamic prompting to handle complex multimodal long document data. Our approach begins by leveraging hierarchical modeling combined with an Adaptive Correlation Multimodal Transformer (ACMT) to effectively capture relationships between text and images at both section and sentence levels. We also introduce a Dynamic Prompt Generation (DPG) module at both levels to enhance the model’s robustness in handling missing image data. By evaluating sample uncertainty, the DPG module dynamically adjusts both the number of prompts and the prompts themselves, allowing the model to better adapt to the varying needs of different samples. Finally, a Hierarchical Heterogeneous Graph (HHG) is introduced to enhance feature interactions across levels, further improving the coherence and accuracy of the model. Extensive experiments on four multi-modal long document datasets demonstrate that our model shows superior performance compared to existing state-of-the-art MLDC classification methods in various conditions. © 1991-2012 IEEE.

Secure Recursive State Estimation of Networked Systems Against Eavesdropping: A Partial-Encryption-Decryption Method

This paper addresses the problem of secure recursive state estimation for a networked linear system, which may be vulnerable to interception of transmitted measurement data by eavesdroppers. To effectively protect information security, an encryption-decryption-based communication scheme can be used, but encrypting all the measurement data from sensors can result in significant computational costs. To address this issue, a partial-encryption-decryption (PED) mechanism is proposed to enhance information security with relatively low computational costs. In this mechanism, only part of the transmitted measurement signals are encrypted, and the remaining signals are transmitted directly to the estimator. A Jordan-canonical-form-based approach is developed to select the appropriate parameter for the PED mechanism, and recursive formulas for the state estimator are designed based on the principle of minimum mean squared error. Sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the ultimate boundedness of the estimation error variance matrix. Finally, the proposed PED-based recursive state estimation scheme is evaluated through two simulation examples to demonstrate its effectiveness. © 1963-2012 IEEE.

Tissue P systems are a class of distributed and parallel computing models inspired from inter-cellular communication and cooperation between cells. In this work, a variant of tissue P system, named tissue P system with look-ahead mode, is discussed for decreasing the inherent non-determinism of tissue P systems and helping implementing tissue P systems on computers. Such systems are proved to be universal by simulating register machine, and they are also proved to be able to efficiently solve computationally hard problems by means of a space-time tradeoff, which is illustrated with a polynomial solution to 3-coloring problem.

A stable finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) sub-grid ding method using the summation-by-parts simultaneous approximation term (SBP-SAT) technique is proposed. To meet the SBP properties and keep Yee's grids unchanged, the projection operators are carefully designed to extrapolate fields on the boundaries. Then, the SATs are used to weakly enforce the boundary conditions between multiple mesh blocks with different mesh sizes. Therefore, its long-term stability is theoretically guaranteed. An iris filter is simulated to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Results show that the proposed SBP-SAT FDTD subgridding method is stable, accurate and efficient. © 2023 IEEE.

Based on the research of WE-OSELM algorithm, a residual life prediction method and prediction model based on finite incremental learning and WE-OSELM are proposed. The LWRLP method firstly selects the optimal number of hidden layer nodes in a limited range by using the finite incremental learning method, and integrates the historical degradation data and online time series data to quickly complete the training of the IPW-OSELM algorithm. Then, the error compensation algorithm is trained by using the error data in the training process of IPW-OSELM algorithm. Finally, the mobile equipment life is determined by combining the failure threshold and the multi-step prediction results.

A stable and symmetric finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) subgridding method is proposed to effectively and accurately solve the three-dimensional electromagnetic prob-lems. The linear interpolation coefficient (LIC) and the length cutoff coefficient (LCC) are carefully designed to guarantee the stability of the proposed method. In addition, the proposed method is applicable to arbitrary grid ratios and nested meshes. A practical multiscale example is used to validate its accuracy and efficiency. © 2023 IEEE.
