This paper investigates the parameter design constraints on the classic UDE-based control framework imposed by the presence of actuator *** theoretical stability analysis of the closed-loop system,it is revealed that the UDE-based control is subject to a limited selection range of the filter parameter T_f when designed without considering the actuator ***,an explicit inequality is derived for T_f with respect to the feedback gains and actuator parameter,implying that a lower bound may exist on the value of T_*** practice,the filter parameter determines the bandwidth of UDE and plays an important role in the disturbance rejection ***,this paper provides a systematic parameter tuning guideline for the feedback gains and T_f to maximize the robustness of the system while maintaining *** numerical simulation results are demonstrated to verify the theoretical findings.

The electricity and steam integrated energy systems,which can capture waste heat and improve the overall energy efficiency,have been widely utilised in industrial ***,intensive and frequent changes in demands would lead to model parameters with strong time-varying *** paper proposes a hybrid physics and data-driven framework for online joint state and parameter estimation of steam and electricity integrated energy *** on the physical non-linear state space models for the electricity network(EN)and steam heating network(SHN),relevance vector machine is developed to learn parameters'dynamic characteristics with respect to model states,which is embedded with physical ***,the online joint state and parameter estimation based on unscented Kalman filter is proposed,which would be learnt recursively to capture the spatiotemporal transient characteristics between electricity and *** IEEE 39-bus EN and the 29-nodes SHN are employed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed *** experimental results validate that the pro-posed method can provide a higher estimation accuracy than the state-of-the-art approaches.

In this paper we extend our previous research on coherent observer-based pole placement approach to study the synthesis of robust decoherence-free (DF) modes for linear quantum passive systems, which is aimed at preservation of quantum information. In particular, DF modes can be generated by placing the poles on the imaginary axis via a coherent feedback design scheme, and these modes can further be simultaneously made robust against perturbations to the system parameters by minimizing the condition number associated with imaginary poles. We develop explicit algebraic conditions for the existence of such a coherent quantum controller, with the corresponding deign procedure provided. Examples are given to illustrate the process of tuning the DF modes towards perfect robustness via the proposed pole placement technique. © 2024 IEEE.

Accurate satellite temperature interval prediction is critical for satellite reliability analysis and health state evaluation. However, existing uncertainty quantification methods often yield imprecise uncertainty estimates for the complex task of predicting satellite temperatures. Therefore, enhancing the quality of uncertainty quantification by recalibrating uncertainty results is of paramount importance. This paper introduces an advanced model uncertainty calibration approach for satellite temperature interval prediction, leveraging the Monte Carlo Dropout and quantile calibration methods. Specifically, the Monte Carlo Dropout method is employed to quantify model uncertainty by generating output distribution samples. Concurrently, the uncertainty quality is enhanced by adjusting the quantile levels using the quantile calibration method, resulting in a more accurately calibrated prediction interval. The efficacy of the proposed method is validated through a simulation example and a real-world engineering case, demonstrating that the calibrated prediction interval coverage probability aligns more closely with the specified confidence levels, thereby rendering the predicted uncertainty interval more credible. © The Institution of Engineering & technology 2024.

In this paper, the design and measurement of a mode-suppression circuit (MSC) applied in the nonlinear interaction region of a Ka-band gyrotron travelling wave tube (gyro-TWT) are presented. The proposed MSC is capable to suppress the spurious $\text{TE}_{11}$ mode with no influence on the operating $\text{TE}_{01}$ mode which helps to improve the tube stability for the high-power operation. Simulation result shows MSC can provide a loss of more than -5 dB around 23.1 GHz for the spurious $\text{TE}_{11}$ mode which agrees well with the measured results.

With the development of the intelligent and connected automobile industry, vehicles have become important information terminals integrated into the interconnection system. The data generated by intelligent and connected vehicles (ICVs) has many application scenarios and rapid changes. And there are lots of potential risks which threats the security of data. The data includes a large amount of personal information, such as vehicle trajectory data and in-vehicle camera video data. In order to avoid the risk of personal privacy security caused by the leakage, this paper analyzes the security risks in the data lifecycle, and chooses eight typical scenarios of ICVs data security, including Internet of Vehicles (IoV) data extraction, vehicle-machine data transfer, and three-party data sharing. A data security testing method for ICVs based on typical scenarios is proposed. This work contributes to discover and solve data security issues in ICVs and provides strong support for the security of ICVs. © 2023 IEEE.

Privacy issues, communication constraints and convergence performance are key factors for expanding applications of multi-agent systems, but considering the above three factors simultaneously has not been well addressed. In order to extend the practical application scenarios and fill such gaps, the paper proposes an improved prescribed-time privacy-preserving consensus method based on event-triggered mechanism. Unlike the traditional privacy protection scheme, proposed method adopts a decentralized (executed separately by every agent), time-varying transformation to encrypt the information. Agents encode their true states in virtue of independent key before transmitting them, which makes the agents' internal states indecipherable from others. On this basis, the prescribed-time theory is introduced to achieve convergence at any specified time within the range allowed by the actuator performance. In addition, event-triggered mechanism can effectively relieve the actuator pressure caused by frequent updates and reduce computational resource consumption. Finally, the validity of theoretical results is verified by numerical simulation experiments. © 2024 IEEE.

A highly sensitive temperature sensing array is prepared by all laser direct writing(LDW)method,using laser induced silver(LIS)as electrodes and laser induced graphene(LIG)as temperature sensing layer.A finite element analysis(FEA)photothermal model incorporating a phase transition mechanism is developed to investigate the relationship between laser parameters and LIG properties,providing guidance for laser processing parameters selection with laser power of 1–5 W and laser scanning speed(greater than 50 mm/s).The deviation of simulation and experimental data for widths and thickness of LIG are less than 5%and 9%,*** electrical properties and temperature responsiveness of LIG are also *** changing the laser process parameters,the thickness of the LIG ablation grooves can be in the range of 30–120μm and the resistivity of LIG can be regulated within the range of 0.031–67.2Ω・*** percentage temperature coefficient of resistance(TCR)is calculated as−0.58%/°***,the FEA photothermal model is studied through experiments and simulations data regarding LIS,and the average deviation between experiment and simulation is less than 5%.The LIS sensing samples have a thickness of about 14μm,an electrical resistivity of 0.0001–100Ω・m is insensitive to temperature and pressure ***,for a LIS-LIG based temperature sensing array,a correction factor is introduced to compensate for the LIG temperature sensing being disturbed by pressure stimuli,the temperature measurement difference is decreased from 11.2 to 2.6°C,indicating good accuracy for temperature measurement.
