There are significant differences in the extent of impurity incorporation on different crystallographic directions of GaN microstructures,and the impurity-related deep energy level behavior will have a significant impact on device ***,a comprehensive understanding of the effect of lateral growth on device performance has not been achieved due to the lack of comprehensive spatial distribution characterization of the optical behavior and impurity incorporation in GaN *** present a comprehensive study of the optical behavior and growth mechanism of self-assembled GaN microdisks using nanoscale spatially resolved cathodoluminescence(CL)*** have found a clear growth orientation-dependent optical behavior of the lateral and vertical growth sectors of self-assembled GaN *** lateral growth sector,i.e.,the{101¯1}-growth sector,forms six side facets of the microdisk and shows significant near-bandgap emission(NBE)and weak deep energy level *** effect enhanced emission was found for the first time in such a truncated hexagonal Na-flux GaN microdisk system with an ultra-smooth surface(Ra<0.7 nm)and low *** self-assembled microdisk shows significant ultraviolet(UV)lasing action(main lasing peak wavelength 370.9 nm,quality factor 1278,threshold 6×10^(4)μJ/cm^(2))under pulsed optical *** believe that the appearance of UV lasing action may be related to the light limitation on the six side facets of the lateral growth of the GaN microdisk,the high structural quality,the low content of deep energy level defects,the low surface roughness,and the low stress.

Investing and researchers alike have long been fascinated by the volatile and dynamic nature of financial markets. For the prediction and analysis of stock market movements, we present a hybrid approach that combines Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD). Leveraging the power of deep learning and technical analysis, this hybrid model offers a comprehensive solution for forecasting and understanding market trends. The LSTM component, a type of recurrent neural network, provides the model with the ability to capture and learn intricate patterns in historical stock price data, thus enabling accurate short and long-term predictions. The MACD indicator, a widely used tool in technical analysis, supplements the LSTM by identifying potential reversal points and providing valuable insights into market momentum. A hybrid approach will provide a stronger and more reliable forecasting framework by combining both LSTM and MACD. To validate the model's efficacy, we apply it to historical stock market data and conduct a thorough analysis of its predictive performance. Our findings suggest that the Hybrid LSTM-MACD approach outperforms traditional methods and offers a promising solution for investors, traders, and financial analysts seeking to navigate the complex world of stock market trading.

In this paper, we propose a platoon controller design approach for the vehicular platoon with bounded external disturbances. The vehicle communication between followers are bidirectional, and the leader can transmit its state to all followers. To make sure the platoon can converge to the leader's state with external disturbances, a distributed discontinuous controller is proposed. By introducing input-to-state string stability (ISSS), the states of all followers are proved to be convergent under the leader's bounded inputs and each follower's bounded external disturbances. After solving the linear matrix inequality (LMI) obtained from the convergence analysis, we get the feedback control gains which can make the vehicle platoon stabilized. Besides, with some minor changes to the theorem, the controller can also apply to the platoon system without disturbances. Finally, the effectiveness of the control scheme is confirmed by some numerical simulations. © 2022 IEEE.

Soil organic nitrogen(ON)accounts for more than 90%of the total nitrogen(TN)in paddy *** understanding of the different ON fractions in paddy soils and their corresponding bioavailability under different climatic conditions has constrained the development of appropriate nutrient management strategies for rice *** this study,we applied a modified Bremner method coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography to characterize how soil ON fractions and amino acid chirality varied under different climatic conditions at five typical rice production sites along a latitudinal *** to the results,climate had no obvious influence on TN,nitrogen(N)form,and individual amino acid ***,the proportions of various N forms in TN had linear relationships with annual mean temperature(AMT),with high correlation coefficient(r)*** acid components also exhibited similar trends,with r as high as *** notably,consistent linear relationships were observed between the D/L ratios of several amino acids and AMT in paddy soils(r=0.18–0.92).Findings of this study provide insights into ON and amino acid dynamics in paddy soil systems under intensive production along climate gradients.

Matrix multiplication (MM) is pivotal in fields from deep learning to scientific computing, driving the quest for improved computational efficiency. Accelerating MM encompasses strategies like complexity reduction, parallel and distributed computing, hardware acceleration, and approximate computing techniques, namely AMM algorithms. Amidst growing concerns over the resource demands of large language models (LLMs), AMM has garnered renewed focus. However, understanding the nuances that govern AMM's effectiveness remains incomplete. This study delves into AMM by examining algorithmic strategies, operational specifics, dataset characteristics, and their application in real-world tasks. Through comprehensive testing across diverse datasets and scenarios, we analyze how these factors affect AMM's performance, uncovering that the selection of AMM approaches significantly influences the balance between efficiency and accuracy, with factors like memory access playing a pivotal role. Additionally, dataset attributes are shown to be vital for the success of AMM in applications. Our results advocate for tailored algorithmic approaches and careful strategy selection to enhance AMM's effectiveness. To aid in the practical application and ongoing research of AMM, we introduce LibAMM —a toolkit offering a wide range of AMM algorithms, benchmarks, and tools for experiment management. LibAMM aims to facilitate research and application in AMM, guiding future developments towards more adaptive and context-aware computational solutions.

In this work, we have explored the use of hierarchical optimization technique to automatically design low dropout regulator. When we use genetic algorithm for multi-objective optimization, the increase of design variables will greatly increase the difficulty of optimization. Therefore, we divide the whole circuit into different levels and only upload the sub circuits’ combination of design parameters to reduce the design variables and shorten the optimization time. In our work, we have explored the optimization results under different constraints, and compared them with the direct optimization results systematically.

China, in collaboration with multiple countries, is preparing to construct a long-term, independently operated international lunar research station on the surface of the moon in the coming years. The construction of an unmanned lunar research station requires the collaboration of diverse and heterogeneous lunar robots to successfully carry out missions. Task allocation for heterogeneous lunar robots is a crucial technical requirement, focusing on constructing evaluation matrix, designing optimization objective functions, and developing algorithms for optimization matching. The state changes during the execution of tasks by robots result in different resource costs for completing other task goals compared to the initial resource costs. Therefore, one of the major challenges in task allocation for multi-robot systems is effectively managing dynamic resource costs during the construction of evaluation matrix (and subsequent optimization based on the matrix). However, the current approach tends to calculate static cost without considering cost changes during task execution, which deviates from standard engineering practices. Instead, the primary contribution of this paper lies in designing a heuristic algorithm capable of optimizing task allocation outcomes while accounting for the dynamic changes in resource costs incurred during goal achievement. In this paper, we propose a heuristic task allocation method for heterogeneous lunar robots under dynamic resource cost. Given a multi-robot cooperative task, our method firstly constructs a task allocation model based on robotic capability and task resource consumption. Next, based on relaxation planning graph, the resource cost for each lunar rover to complete all task goals is calculated, and the cost of transitioning between different goal states is estimated (to efficiently update the resource cost of completing each goal as the lunar rover's state changes). Vascular interventional surgery (VIS) mainly relies on the surgeon's clinical experience and the image assistance of digital subtraction angiography (DSA). However, DSA will damage the surgeon's health. A master-slave vascular interventional surgical robotic system averts the threat of the X-ray, whereas most master manipulators of the system still have some problems, such as the different operating modes compared to the convention and the large inertia of the device itself. Therefore, a wearable device with precise measurement function, SurGlove, is developed in this study. The surgeon can wear SurGolve as the common medical glove and handle the catheter and guidewire directly. The film pressure sensor on the glove can judge the grasping signal and enable the optical tracking system to measure the markers on the device. The spatial rotation angle and displacement distance of the SurGolve are calculated in real-time. By wearing SurGlove, the surgeon can manipulate the guidewire and the catheter cooperatively. Furthermore, the evaluation experiments showed that the proposed device had a mean absolute error of 1.88° and a maximum error of less than 3° in rotation angle measurement. The maximum displacement error was less than 5 mm and the mean absolute error was 1.53 mm. This study preliminarily verified the feasibility of the proposed wearable SurGlove for the VIS robotic system. © 2023 IEEE.
