Self-powered sensor based on compressible ionic gel electrolyte for simultaneous determination of temperature and pressure

The simultaneous detection of multiple stimuli,such as pressure and temperature,has long been a persistent challenge for developing electronic skin(eskin)to emulate the functionality of human ***,the demand for integrated power supply units is an additional pressing concern to achieve its lightweightness and ***,we propose a self-powered dual temperature–pressure(SPDM)sensor,which utilizes a compressible ionic gel electrolyte driven by the potential difference between MXene and Al *** SPDM sensor exhibits a rapid and timely response to changes in pressure-induced deformation,while exhibiting a slow and hysteretic response to temperature *** distinct response characteristics enable the differentiation of current signals generated by different stimuli through machine learning,resulting in an impressive accuracy rate of 99.1%.Furthermore,the developed SPDM sensor exhibits a wide pressure detection range of 0–800 kPa and a broad temperature detection range of 5–75C,encompassing the environmental conditions encountered in daily human *** dual-mode coupled strategy by machine learning provides an effective approach for temperature and pressure detection and discrimination,showcasing its potential applications in wearable electronics,intelligent robots,human–machine interactions,and so on.

Effects of copper and zirconium contents on microstructure and magnetic properties of Sm(Co,Fe,Cu,Zr)_(z)magnets with high iron content

The evolution of the microstructure,microchemistry and magnetic properties of the Sm(CobalFe_(0.28)-CuyZrx)_(7.6)magnets with different Zr and Cu contents was *** is found that the coercivity of the Sm(Co,Fe,Cu,Zr)_(z)magnets is sensitive to Zr *** deficiency of Zr content causes heterogeneity of Cu and Fe distributions,while an excessive Zr content leads to the formation of a SmCoZr impurity *** cellular structure and distribution of Cu *** between the cell boundary phase and cell pha se are destroyed by inappropriate Zr content,which results in a reduction of *** Cu concentration difference between the cell boundary phase and cell phase increases with increasing Cu *** coercivity of the Sm(CobalFe_(0.28)CuyZ_(r0.02))_(7.6)magnets increases from 10.4 to 25.4 kOe for y=0.05 and y=***,the excess of Cu element destroys the cell boundary phase and enlarges the cell size,resulting in a significant decrease of squareness and energy *** optimum performance(remanence of 11.4 kG,coercivity of 25.4 kOe,maximum magnetic ene rgy product of 30.4 MGOe)was obtained for the Sm(Co_(0.63)Fe_(0.28)Cu_(0.07)Zr_(0.02))_(7.6)magnet.

In this article,the Sm_(2)Co_(7)/α-Fe nanocomposite magnets were prepared by high energy ball milling and spark plasma sintering *** effect of soft phase content on the magnetic properties was *** to 30 wt% α-Fe was added into Sm_(2)Co_(7) matrix without the decrease of *** energy product(BH)max of 9.2 MGOe was obtained with 20 wt% α-*** observation shows that the grain size of α-Fe is 20-50 nm which ensures a good coupling effect between soft and hard *** more thing needs to be mentioned is that there exists inter-diffusion between Sm-Co phase and α-Fe ***,our results can also illustrate that the Sm_(2)Co_(7)/α-Fe nanocomposite magnets are able to acquire better magnetic properties than the SmCo_(5)/α-Fe magnets prepared by the same process due to the large domain width of Sm_(2)Co_(7) phase.

Aqueous zinc metal batteries(AZMBs)have garnered widespread attention due to their low cost and high ***,current researches are still primarily focused on reversible cycling at low areal capacity,which is far from practical *** interfacial stability issues encountered during cycling and employing interfacial optimization strategies can promote the development of safe and eco-friendly *** introducingγ-valerolactone(GVL),which disrupts the original hydrogen bonding network of water,the electrochemical window of electrolyte is expanded,and the reactivity of water is significantly ***,the incorporation of GVL in Zn ion solvation alters the deposition pattern on the Zn anode surface,resulting in improved cyclic *** cells demonstrated excellent performance,maintaining stable over 400 h at 5 mA/cm^(2)-5 mA·h/cm^(2),and nearly 300 h in Zn||Zn symmetric cell at 80%depth of discharge(DOD).The full cells matched with NH_(4)V_(4)O_(10) could cycle over 200 cycles under the condition of high areal capacity(7 mA·h/cm^(2)),an N/P ratio of 1.99 and an E/C ratio of 9.3μL/(mA·h).

High density lanthanum hexaboride(LaB_(6))polycrystalline with(100)preferred orientation was prepared by spark plasma sintering(SPS)using LaB_(6) nanocubes as raw materials in this *** and thermionic electron emission property of LaB_(6) polycrystalline were investigated *** results show that the LaB_(6) polycrystalline had a relative density of 95.8%,and there was a(100)preferred orientation on its surface normal to SPS pressing *** work function of LaB_(6) polycrystalline normal surface was only 2.73 eV,which was almost close to the theoretical work function of LaB_(6)(100)single crystal *** reasons for preferential orientation of LaB_(6) polycrystalline were analyzed.

Single phase 0.76(Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5))TiO_(3)–0.24SrTiO_(3) ferroelectric ceramics have been synthesized with homogenous anatase and hierarchical rutile TiO_(2) raw reactants(BNST-A and BNST-R).Either calcined powder persists the microstructure characteristics of raw *** the result,when the sintering temperature increases from 1000 to 1200℃,the average grain size and density of BNST-A increase from 0.49 to 1.48μm and 5.02 to 5.61 g/cm^(3),while those of BNST-R from 0.86 to 1.44μm and 5.37 to 5.61 g/cm^(3).BNST-A illustrates a predominant ergodic relaxor state,and BNST-R prefers a non-ergodic relaxor state,as evidenced by the distinct polarization-electric field loops and current-electric field ***,such a distinct ferroelectric state is independent of sintering *** is believed that the special hierarchical microstructure of rutile TiO_(2) reactant is beneficial to form denser ceramics with larger grains,and thus suppresses the contributions of polar nanoregions and defect-induced built-in field to ferroelectric property,leading to non-ergodic relaxor *** work clearly demonstrates the nonnegligible effects of TiO_(2) reactants on the microstructure and properties of BNST ferroelectric ceramics.
