Intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) and rate-splitting multiple access (RSMA) technologies are at the forefront of enhancing spectrum and energy efficiency in the next generation multi-antenna communication systems. This paper explores a RSMA system with multiple IRSs, and proposes two purpose-driven scheduling schemes, i.e., the exhaustive IRS-aided (EIA) and opportunistic IRS-aided (OIA) schemes. The aim is to optimize the system weighted energy efficiency (EE) under the above two schemes, respectively. Specifically, the Dinkelbach, branch and bound, successive convex approximation, and the semidefinite relaxation methods are exploited within the alternating optimization framework to obtain effective solutions to the considered problems. The numerical findings indicate that the EIA scheme exhibits better performance compared to the OIA scheme in diverse scenarios when considering the weighted EE, and the proposed algorithm demonstrates superior performance in comparison to the baseline algorithms. Given the challenges facing the cyberspace of the nation, this paper presents the tripartite theory of cyberspace, based on the status quo of cyberspace. Corresponding strategies and a research architecture are proposed for common public networks （C space）, secure classified networks （S space）, and key infras- tructure networks （K space）, based on their individual characteristics. The features and security require- ments of these networks are then discussed. Taking C space as an example, we introduce the SMCRC （which stands for ＂situation awareness, monitoring and management, cooperative defense, response and recovery, and countermeasures and traceback＂） loop for constructing a cyberspace security ecosys- tem. Following a discussion on its characteristics and information exchange, our analysis focuses on the critical technologies of the SMCRC loop. To obtain more insight into national cyberspace security, special attention should be paid to global sensing and precise mapping, continuous detection and active manage- ment, cross-domain cooperation and systematic defense, autonomous response and rapid processing, and accurate traceback and countermeasure deterrence.

In this paper, a modulated signal recognition method based on feature fusion and ResCNN (FF-ResCNN) under generalized fractal noise background is proposed. Firstly, in the feature extraction and fusion part, considering the robustness, anti-noise and interpretability of the features, the fusion feature vectors of generalized fractal spectrum, instantaneous feature and high-order cumulant feature are constructed. Secondly, in order to suppress the possible gradient and degradation problems, the ResCNN model is used to train and classify the fusion features when the CNN model is used to further collect the deep-level abstract features. Finally, feature extraction, feature fusion and classification experiments are carried out for nine modulated signals under two noise types (GWN and fractal noise). Experimental results show that in the case of generalized fractal noise, when SNR=0dB, the recognition accuracy of signal modulation type reaches 95.42%, which verifies the superiority of the proposed method. At the same time, the simulation analysis is carried out for different feature fusion schemes, which provides a valuable reference for feature combination optimization under different noise environment.

In the indoor positioning application based on the Wi-Fi range-based positioning algorithm, on the one hand, due to the characteristics of the wireless propagation model, the final position of the node calculated by the range-based positioning algorithm will have a certain error, on the other hand, due to the complexity of the wireless AP deployment, it will cause some regional deployments may not meet the requirements of trilateral positioning. In response to these problems, this paper proposed an optimized Wi-Fi positioning algorithm based on virtual node optimization. On the one hand, a wireless AP with a known physical location is used as a virtual positioning node to correct the positioning results; on the other hand, a virtual AP mechanism is designed to compensate for this. Due to the problem of positioning blind spots caused by AP deployment defects, the accuracy of the Wi-Fi range-based positioning algorithm is greatly improved, and the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified through simulation verification and actual site operation tests.

With the development of information technology, the scale of the network continues to expand, and the security issues continue to increase. The complexity of the network security situation is increasing and the importance of the network security situational awareness continues to increase. The data sources are wide, the type and the number are large in a large-scale network environment currently. This paper comprehensively studies the network security situational awareness technology based on multi-source heterogeneous data. In addition, this paper introduces the origin, concept and the model of the network situational awareness, as well as the characteristics of network security situational awareness based on multi-source heterogeneous data fusion. Finally, the key technologies in the security situational awareness such as the extraction of situational elements, multi-source data fusion, situation assessment, situation prediction and visual display are introduced.

A new type of polarization sensitive interferometer is proposed, which is named as Delta interferometer due to the geometry of the simplest interferometer looks like Greek letter, Delta. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first time that this type of interferometer is proposed. The main difference between Delta interferometer and other existed interferometer, such as Michelson interferometer, Mach-Zehnder interferometer, Young’s double-slit interferometer, is that the two interfering paths are asymmetrical in Delta interferometer, which makes it polarization sensitive. The visibility of the first-order interference pattern observed in Delta interferometer is dependent on the polarization of the incidental light. Optical coherence theory is employed to interpret the phenomenon and a single-mode continuous-wave laser is employed to verify the theoretical predictions. The theoretical and experimental results are consistent. Delta interferometer provides a perfect tool to study the reflection of electric field in different polarizations and may find applications in polarization sensitive scenarios. Code similarity detection is one of the important means to maintain the healthy development of the software eco-environment. Early code similarity detection method is mainly based on the code attribute measurement technology, this method can quickly detect more obvious similar parts on small-scale code datasets, but when faced with large-scale datasets or code segments with similar syntax and semantics, the detection performance is not effective. The new code similarity detection technology based on tree-structure representation and machine learning can adapt to different data changes, thus providing new solutions. This paper proposes a new detection method that combines the abstract syntax tree (AST) structure and unsupervised clustering, this new method can improve the detection efficiency of code clustering analysis, because it not only considers the syntax and semantic information of the code, but also reduces the workload of code data preprocessing through unsupervised clustering.

Owing to the extremely complex compositions and origins of waste-activated sludge (WAS), the multiple physiochemical properties of WAS have impacts on its dewaterability, and there is a complex interaction relationship among the multiple physiochemical properties, which makes it difficult to identify the controlling factors on WAS dewaterability. Accordingly, there is still no unified certainty in the appropriate ranges of physiochemical properties for the optimal dewaterability of sludge from different sources, resulting in a lack of clear theoretical basis for technical selection and optimization of sludge dewatering processes. The large consumption of conditioning chemicals and low process efficiency stand for the major deficiency of existing sludge conditioning technologies. This study proposed to use a non-linear, adaptive and self-organizing artificial neural network (ANN) model to integrate the multiple physiochemical properties of WAS affecting its dewaterability, and WAS dewatering performance under certain conditioning schemes could be predicated by ANN model with the multiple physiochemical properties and conditioning operation parameters as the input arguments. Thus, the laborious filtration experiments for screening conditioning chemicals could be replaced by the input adjustment of ANN model. Rooted mean squared error (RMSE) of 6.51 and coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.73 confirmed the satisfied stability and accuracy of established ANN model. Furthermore, the predictor-exclusive method revealed that the exclusion of polar interface free energy decreased most, which reflected the importance of surface hydrophilicity reduction in sludge dewaterability improvement. All the contributions presented here were believed to provide an intelligent insight to improve the experience operation status of WAS dewatering process. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In this paper, the radar clutter reconstruction model based on singularity power spectrum (SPS) and instantaneous singularity exponent (ISE) is proposed. The proposed ISE-SPS model consists of power measure channel and dimension measure channel. The multi-scale wavelet coefficients are estimated based on the coupling of the two channels to reconstruct the radar sea clutter. Experiment based on the Ice Multi-parameter Imaging X-Band (IPIX) indicates that the proposed model behaves better than the N-partitioned random multiplicative model (NRMM), with about 32% increment in terms of correlation coefficient and normalized MSE of MFS and SPS.
