This paper proposes a ranging-based positioning method independent of environmental factors and compensation coefficients. Because of the good concealment, the application of DSSS signals are more and more attractive in underwater acoustic (UWA) communication. While for UWA communication countermeasure system, blind detection of non-cooperative UWA DSSS signals is the first and essential step. A software for non-cooperative UWA DSSS signals detection is developed based on LabVIEW, which integrates power spectrum method, cepstrum method, autocorrelation method and corresponding improved methods. With the help of acquisition card and acoustic transducer, many functions can be implemented such as real-time acquisition and storage, detection processing and the results display for the received signals. What's more, different detection methods can be independently or jointly used by arbitrarily adjusting the display and control interface in real time.

The conventional underwater acoustic (UWA) wakeup signals detection methods for both underwater cooperative nodes and non-cooperative nodes are FFT based signal detection and matched-filtered based signal detection. While there is a big performance degradation of these conventional frequency-offset sensitive methods due to the relative motion between nodes, complex underwater noise environment, channel time-varying and other interference sources. This paper proposes a dynamic time warping (DTW) algorithm to detect the wake-up signal in UWA communication networks, which is frequency-offset insensitive and performs better than the conventional methods in severe frequency-offset environment by simulations based on the true UWA channel measured from sea trial.

Due to the broadcast nature of wireless communications, the damage to mobile ad hoc networks is becoming more and more common. We propose a network stability model that can effectively reflect the network performance when the network is damaged in real time. The Ad Hoc network model is built by using the node model supporting the IEEE802.11 standard provided by OPNET software to simulate the network performance of the network under different degrees of damage. This model provides an effective way for the simulation analysis of network performance under the condition of Ad Hoc network damage.

Gas sensor often fails due to the influence of temperature, humidity, lighting, dust and toxic gases, and causes unreliable phenomena. Therefore, the fault diagnosis of gas sensors is considered as a weak link. Feature extraction and classification play an important role in gas sensor fault diagnosis. However, there are many problems in traditional feature extraction methods. For example, 1) requirements for expert experience, 2) sensitivity of changes in mechanical systems, 3) limitations of new feature extraction. Therefore, it is meaningful and attractive to develop a method that can discover and learn fault-sensitive features of gas sensors from the original data and classify them effectively according to the sensitive features. Convolutional neural network(CNN) has been widely applied in image analysis and voice recording, and has achieved great success. However, gas sensor fault diagnosis is rarely applied. This paper focuses on using CNN to learn fault features from data, extract features automatically, and then classify them effectively. Experiments show that the CNN method provides a effective solution for gas sensor fault diagnosis.

Wireless communication network has such features as limited bandwidth, changeful channel and dynamic topology, etc. Ad hoc network has lots of difficulties in accessing control, bandwidth distribution, resource assign and congestion control. Therefore, a wireless packets distributing Evolutionary algorithm based on PSO (DPSO)for Ad Hoc Network is proposed. Firstly, parameters impact on performance of network are analyzed and researched to obtain network performance effective function. Secondly, the improved PSO Evolutionary Algorithm is used to solve the optimization problem from local to global in the process of network packets distributing. The simulation results show that the algorithm can ensure fairness and timeliness of network transmission, as well as improve ad hoc network resource integrated utilization efficiency.
