High visibility temporal ghost imaging with classical light is possible when superbunching pseudothermal light is employed. In the numerical simulation, the visibility of temporal ghost imaging with pseudothermal light equaling (4.7 ± 0.2)% can be increased to (75 ± 8)% in the same scheme with superbunching pseudothermal light. The reasons for the difference in visibility and quality of the retrieved images in different situations are discussed in detail. It is concluded that high visibility and high quality temporal ghost image can be obtained by collecting large enough number of data points. The results are helpful to understand the difference between ghost imaging with classical light and entangled photon pairs. The superbunching pseudothermal light can be employed to improve the image quality in ghost imaging applications. Copyright © 2017, The Authors. All rights reserved.

To make use of the correlation among the samples, a method of individual radio transmitter identification based on collaborative representation is put forward in this paper. Firstly, we extract the square integral bispectra(SIB)features to characterise the radio transmitters in the feature space. Secondly, based on collaborative representation, we compute the sparse coefficients with low computational complexity. At last, benefiting from the discrimination information of coefficient, the classifier is constructed for the final individual radio transmitter identification. On the actual collected FM radio dataset, the experimental results verify the effectiveness and robustness of our method.

Co-saliency Detection for RGBD Images Based on Multi-constraint Feature Matching and Cross Label Propagation

Co-saliency detection aims at extracting the common salient regions from an image group containing two or more relevant images. It is a newly emerging topic in computer vision community. Different from the most existing co-saliency methods focusing on RGB images, this paper proposes a novel co-saliency detection model for RGBD images, which utilizes the depth information to enhance identification of co-saliency. First, the intra saliency map for each image is generated by the single image saliency model, while the inter saliency map is calculated based on the multi-constraint feature matching, which represents the constraint relationship among multiple images. Then, the optimization scheme, namely Cross Label Propagation (CLP), is used to refine the intra and inter saliency maps in a cross way. Finally, all the original and optimized saliency maps are integrated to generate the final co-saliency result. The proposed method introduces the depth information and multi-constraint feature matching to improve the performance of co-saliency detection. Moreover, the proposed method can effectively exploit any existing single image saliency model to work well in co-saliency scenarios. The passive synthetic aperture antenna array (P-SAAA) technology is inspired by the idea of synthetic aperture sonar and synthetic aperture radar, which is a new method used to the passive radar source localization using only one small aircraft. Virtual time difference of arrival (VTDOA) estimation is critical for the PSAAA technology, it is defined as the time difference of the radar pulse transmission from the radar source position to different virtual receivers, where the virtual receivers are the flight track position of the small aircraft at different flight time. In this paper, we present three different algorithms of curve fitting to approximate the main-beam pattern of the radar antenna, then the VTDOA can be estimated using the corresponding time of the peak of the curve. The simulation results show that the second-order polynomial of the least squares (LS) curve fitting algorithm is the optimal method to approximate the main beam pattern of the radar antenna at the receiver, which also is the optimal method to be used in the VTDOA estimation.

In this paper, a modified CORIDC algorithm for computation of arctangent is presented. Unlike the conventional CORDIC algorithm which has constant number of iterations, the proposed algorithm calculates the nearest predefined angle to the input phase at the beginning of every iteration and then rotates by an optimal angle. As it has variable iterations, the novel rotation strategy provides faster convergence speed that reduces the number of iterations with respect to the previous approaches. Further, the performance of the proposed algorithm is improved when compared with that of the conventional one at cost of the same maximum shift number. With a number of simulation experiments, the performance of the proposed algorithm is validated by the numerical results.

The performance of digital communication systems, depending on the signal modulation and demodulation. In this paper, loading several different jamming pattern to different digital communication modulation system models, the bit error rate(BER) under different conditions of jamming signal ratio(JSR) was in statistics through a large number of statistical simulation, the graph is giving to illustrate the comparative relationship of JSR and BER, the comparative Analysis under different channel jamming pattern is giving to illustrate the influence for different digital communication systems.

An Iterative Co-Saliency Framework for RGBD Images

As a newly emerging and significant topic in computer vision community, co-saliency detection aims at discovering the common salient objects in multiple related images. The existing methods often generate the co-saliency map through a direct forward pipeline which is based on the designed cues or initialization, but lack the refinement-cycle scheme. Moreover, they mainly focus on RGB image and ignore the depth information for RGBD images. In this paper, we propose an iterative RGBD co-saliency framework, which utilizes the existing single saliency maps as the initialization, and generates the final RGBD cosaliency map by using a refinement-cycle model. Three schemes are employed in the proposed RGBD co-saliency framework, which include the addition scheme, deletion scheme, and iteration scheme. The addition scheme is used to highlight the salient regions based on intra-image depth propagation and saliency propagation, while the deletion scheme filters the saliency regions and removes the non-common salient regions based on interimage constraint. The iteration scheme is proposed to obtain more homogeneous and consistent co-saliency map. Furthermore, a novel descriptor, named depth shape prior, is proposed in the addition scheme to introduce the depth information to enhance identification of co-salient objects. The proposed method can effectively exploit any existing 2D saliency model to work well in RGBD co-saliency scenarios. The spectrum utility can be improved when cooperative communication technology is incorporated into cognitive radio network, and both the licensed users and secondary users can benefit from cooperating. In this cooperative cognitive radio network, a primary user and multiple secondary users cooperate with each other adopting space-time coding relay scheme to benefit win-win cooperation. Considering the primary user owns the spectrum and both the primary user and secondary users are selfish and reasonable, this cooperative cognitive network is formulated as a Stackelberg game. Based on utility maximizing, this paper studies the spectrum allocation and relay selection problem. A spectrum allocation algorithm is derived under given number of secondary users, and a low complexity relay selection strategy is proposed to maximize the utility of the primary user while guaranteeing the data rate of the primary user and the fairness among the secondary users. Numerical results show the feasibility and validity of the proposed relay selection scheme.

To improve the steering precision and angular resolution of liquid crystal optical phased array, in this paper, we proposed a modified periodic phase controlled method to realize a continuous scanning with a constant angular resolution of less than 20 μrad, meanwhile, its precision is less than 5 μrad (RMS). Also, another method we proposed is called sub-aperture coherence can realize even better angular resolution less than 5 μrad which is the limitation of our measurement instrument.

Encryption algorithms are applied to a variety of fields and the security of encryption algorithms depends heavily on the computational infeasibility of exhaustive key-space search. RC4 algorithm has an extensive application for stream encryption, however, the disadvantages of traditional RC4 serial algorithm are large computational quantity and slow computation speed, which means a great challenge for throughput of computing system. Graphics processors recently have been widely used as accelerators for high throughput computing. In this paper, GPU is used to improve the efficiency and performance of attacking RC4 algorithm. First, we revised RC4 algorithm to make it easier to parallelize on a GPU. Then we take advantage of constant memory and shared memory in GPU to search the key space of RC4 algorithm efficiently. Besides, we solved the bank conflict problem in shared memory to further improve the performance. Our approach was evaluated in the whole key space of 40-bit, and the results show it can complete searching of the whole key space within 12.8 hours. © 2016 IEEE.
