As the complexity of space exploration missions augments,how to enhance the overall performance of communication,ranging or other functions has become a challengeable *** the integration of communication and ranging,we present a bit-level composite signal for simultaneous ranging and *** this composite method,through a specially designed mapping scheme using low-weight codewords,the information sequence is converted to a sparse sequence which is then superimposed on the ranging *** ranging,the correlation characteristics of the ranging code component can be maintained to calculate the transmitter-receiver *** communications,the sparse sequence can be extracted without interference by eliminating the ranging code *** results show that the proposed composite signal can support communication and ranging simultaneously with limited sacrifice of ranging performance,and the performance loss of ranging can be controlled and minimized by lowering the density of information sequences using different sparsification encoding methods.

The rapid advancement of Internet of Things(IoT)technology has brought convenience to people’s lives;however further development of IoT faces serious challenges,such as limited energy and shortage of network spectrum *** address the above challenges,this study proposes a simultaneous wireless information and power transfer IoT adaptive time slot resource allocation(SIATS)***,an adaptive time slot consisting of periods for sensing,information transmission,and energy harvesting is designed to ensure that the minimum energy harvesting requirement ismet while the maximumuplink and downlink throughputs are ***,the optimal transmit power and channel assignment of the system are obtained using the Lagrangian dual and gradient descent methods,and the optimal time slot assignment is determined for each IoT device such that the sum of the throughput of all devices is *** results show that the SIATS algorithm performs satisfactorily and provides an increase in the throughput by up to 14.4%compared with that of the fixed time slot allocation(FTS)*** the case of a large noise variance,the SIATS algorithm has good noise immunity,and the total throughput of the IoT devices obtained using the SIATS algorithm can be improved by up to 34.7%compared with that obtained using the FTS algorithm.

The need to simultaneously balance security and fairness in quantum key agreement(QKA) makes it challenging to design a flawless QKA protocol, especially a multiparty quantum key agreement(MQKA) protocol. When designing an MQKA protocol,two modes can be used to transmit the quantum information carriers: travelling mode and distributed mode. MQKA protocols usually have a higher qubit efficiency in travelling mode than in distributed mode. Thus, several travelling mode MQKA protocols have been proposed. However, almost all of these are vulnerable to collusion attacks from internal betrayers. This paper proposes an improved MQKA protocol that operates in travelling mode with Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen pairs. More importantly, we present a new travelling mode MQKA protocol that uses single photons, which is more feasible than previous methods under current technologies.

Using the reduced graphene oxide(rGO) as a saturable absorber(SA) in an Er-doped fiber(EDF) laser cavity,we obtain the Q-switching operation. The rGO SA is prepared by depositing the GO on fluorine mica(FM) using the thermal reduction method. The modulation depth of rGO/FM is measured to be 3.2%. By incorporating the rGO/FM film into the EDF laser cavity, we obtain stable Q-switched pulses. The shortest pulse duration is3.53 μs, and the maximum single pulse energy is 48.19 nJ. The long-term stability of working is well *** experimental results show that the rGO possesses potential photonics applications.
