With the rapid development of Natural Language Processing (NLP), text matching has become the basis of many downstream tasks in NLP, and the study of text matching is of great research significance for solving tasks such as question and answer and information retrieval in NLP. Most of the current text matching methods tend to have problems such as mismatch of grammatical structures and insufficient interaction information in sentences. In order to solve the problems of insufficient interaction information and lack of features and ability to capture keyword and sequence information in text matching, this paper proposes a text matching method based on multi-layer coding and soft attention mechanism. The method first embeds the text and sends it to a gating module for processing, then sends the processed result to a module containing a combination of multilayer coding and soft attention mechanism for further operations such as multiple alignment, and finally sends it to a classifier containing a three-layer fully-connected network for predicting whether the input text pairs match or not. The two modules proposed in this paper are practically feasible, and comparison and ablation experiments have been conducted on the publicly available datasets LCQMC dataset and BQ dataset, and the experimental results show that the two modules improve the accuracy of text matching by 2.44% and 1.02%, respectively.

To address the challenges associated with insufficiently extracting and utilizing features at different levels, overlooking the connection between label meanings and text, and facing problems of over-compression or information loss when extracting global information using recurrent neural networks in the field of multi-label text categorization, this paper introduces an innovative model known as MFFLEN (MultiFeature Fusion and Label Embedding Neural Network). First, a back-translated enhanced label set is constructed by back-translated splicing enhancement of the original label set. This set, together with the text, is then input into the embedding layer, which consists of the pre-trained model of bert-baseChinese, thus establishing the initial connection between the text and the labels within the same vector space. Then, to comprehensively extract multi-level semantic features, the model uses a convolutional layer to extract local features and an embedding layer to extract sentence-level features. A bidirectional attention embedded GRU (BAE-GRU) layer is used to extract hybrid finegrained features, which are then fed into the attention layer to further extract hybrid labeled features based on labeling information. Finally, these three different types of features are fused and multi-label text classification results are obtained using a classifier. The experiments proved that the MFFLEN model achieved 73.82% and 88.44% macro-F1 and 88.00% and 88.86% micro-F1 on the two datasets CAIL 2018 Small and CAIL 2018 Split, respectively, which is better than other baseline models.

This paper explores the size-invariance of evaluation metrics in Salient Object Detection (SOD), especially when multiple targets of diverse sizes co-exist in the same image. We observe that current metrics are size-sensitive, where larger objects are focused, and smaller ones tend to be ignored. We argue that the evaluation should be size-invariant because bias based on size is unjustified without additional semantic information. In pursuit of this, we propose a generic approach that evaluates each salient object separately and then combines the results, effectively alleviating the imbalance. We further develop an optimization framework tailored to this goal, achieving considerable improvements in detecting objects of different sizes. Theoretically, we provide evidence supporting the validity of our new metrics and present the generalization analysis of SOD. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our method. Explicit mathematical reconstructions of quantum networks play a significant role in developing quantum information science. However, tremendous parameter requirements and physical constraint implementations have become computationally non-ignorable encumbrances. In this work, we propose an efficient method for quantum network tomography by learning isometries on the Stiefel manifold. Tasks of reconstructing quantum networks are tackled by solving a series of unconstrained optimization problems with significantly less parameters. The stepwise isometry estimation shows the capability for providing information of the truncated quantum comb while processing the tomography. Remarkably, this method enables the compressive quantum comb tomography by specifying the dimensions of isometries. Image-text matching is an important problem at the intersection of computer vision and natural language processing. It aims to establish the semantic link between image and text to achieve high-quality semantic alignment between the two modalities. However, the existing methods have the problem that the meaning expressed in the image or the complex narrative in the text cannot be fully understood due to insufficient feature extraction. Moreover, due to the essential modal differences between images and texts, how to effectively and accurately align the semantic contents in images and texts has become the key of research. In order to solve the above problems, this paper proposes a method based on feature enhancement and relationship interaction. When processing images, the proposed method fuses labeled features, region features and location features to represent images. When processing text, a combination of Bi-GRU and self-attention mechanism is used to represent the text. In order to further align the semantic content in images and texts accurately, this paper improves two relational interaction mechanisms by identifying connection relationships and learning association relationships. Thus, the relation enhanced embedding is obtained. Finally, it calculated the similarity of the enhanced embedding to judge the matching degree of the image and text. Extensive experiments on the public datasets Flickr30K and MSCOCO demonstrate the effectiveness of our method.

Text semantic similarity is a crucial research area in Natural Language Processing (NLP). However, traditional methods for calculating the similarity of short Chinese texts often fall short in accuracy and other crucial aspects. The Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory Network (BiLSTM) has demonstrated remarkable performance in computing the similarity of short Chinese texts by effectively capturing long-range dependencies and semantic information. Additionally, the multi-head attention mechanism considers the interaction between different text locations and semantic information, enhancing the model’s representative capacity. Building upon this foundation, our paper proposes an enhanced model known as SCTbilstmAttRdrop (SCTAR). This model is constructed based on a multilayer BiLSTM architecture and incorporates an SE-gated convolutional module and a convolutional multi-head attention-aware model. We conducted extensive evaluations using two Chinese short text datasets, Chinese-SNLI and CCKS2018_Task3. The experimental results unequivocally demonstrate that our SCTAR model surpasses other common methods in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 scores when tasked with computing the similarity of Chinese short texts.

MIMO technology has been widely used in the telecommunication systems nowadays, and the space-time coding is a key part of MIMO technology. A good coding scheme can exploit the spatial diversity to correct the error which is generated in transmission, and increase the normalized transfer rate with low decoding complexity. On the Basis of the research on different Space-Time Block Codes, this essay proposes a new STBC, Diagonal Block Orthogonal Space-Time Block Code. Then we will compare it with other STBCs in the performance of bit error rate, transfer rate, decoding complexity and peek-to-average power ratio, the final result will prove the superiority of DBOAST.

Autoregressive Queries for Adaptive Tracking with Spatio-Temporal Transformers

The rich spatio-temporal information is crucial to capture the complicated target appearance variations in visual tracking. However, most top-performing tracking algorithms rely on many hand-crafted components for spatio-temporal information aggregation. Consequently, the spatio-temporal information is far away from being fully explored. To alleviate this issue, we propose an adaptive tracker with spatio-temporal transformers (named AQATrack), which adopts simple autoregressive queries to effectively learn spatio-temporal information without many hand-designed components. Firstly, we introduce a set of learnable and autoregressive queries to capture the instantaneous target appearance changes in a sliding window fashion. Then, we design a novel attention mechanism for the interaction of existing queries to generate a new query in current frame. Finally, based on the initial target template and learnt autoregressive queries, a spatio-temporal information fusion module (STM) is designed for spatio-temporal formation aggregation to locate a target object. Benefiting from the STM, we can effectively combine the static appearance and instantaneous changes to guide robust tracking. Extensive experiments show that our method significantly improves the tracker’s performance on six popular tracking benchmarks: LaSOT, LaSOText, TrackingNet, GOT-10k, TNL2K, and *** and models will be here. As satellite positioning has shortcomings such as susceptibility to multipath interference, we look forward to using a new algorithm to solve these problems. The method of derivative dynamic time regularization is used as the matching method of geomagnetic navigation. Due to the factors of the inertial device itself, a certain cumulative error will occur in the positioning solution of the inertial navigation(INS). Therefore, an outdoor error model needs to be established, and the positioning error is corrected by filtering technology. To solve this problem, the Unscented Kalman Filter is used to fuse the positioning results of the two to obtain a more accurate positioning, with an average accuracy within 1.5 meters.

The purpose of this paper was to explore the regulation of corn starch (CS) on tremella polysaccharide-egg white protein-orange juice (TFP-EWP-OJ) composite gel to develop a new 3D printing material. The effects of CS concentration on the characterisation of TFP-EWP-OJ composite gel were investigated. The results showed that the addition of CS improved the rheological property, WHC and TPA of TFP-EWP-OJ composite gel. This meant that the addition of CS gave the TFP-EWP-OJ composite gel better hardness, viscosity and flow properties. In addition, the network structure of the TFP-EWP-OJ composite gel was more compact as the concentration of CS increased and no new covalent bonds are formed between the two. The results of 3D printing showed that the cylindricity printed with TFP-EWP-OJ composite gel with 0.12 g/mL CS added had the best 3D printing structure and highest printing accuracy at 1.2 mm nozzle diameter and 35 mm/s printing speed. © 2024, The Authors.
