Dual satellite TDOA/FDOA localization scheme has problems of multiple ambiguous solutions and poor localization results in the sub-satellite area along the dual satellite baseline direction. Passive localization using TDOA and FDOA measurements usually does not have direct solution and requires numerical methods to determine the emitter's geolocation. We suggest a satellite passive localization method fusing the TDOA/FDOA/AOA measurements based on particle swarm optimization(PSO), which provides an evolutionary computation method to solve the nonlinear optimal problem. To be more close to the practical use, the WGS-84 earth model is adopted in this work. However, PSO can not be directly applied to geolocation problem due to the nonlinear constraint of earth surface. We examined a PSO based method which let the particle swarm fly on the earth surface. Computer simulation results show the effectiveness of the new localization method. © 2013 IEEE.

Passive localization using TDOA and FDOA measurements usually does not have direct solution and requires numerical methods to determine the emitter's geolocation. We examine a satellite passive localization method based on particle swarm optimization(PSO), which provides an evolutionary computation method to solve the nonlinear optimal problem. However, PSO can not be straightforwardly applied to satellite passive localization because it is a constrained nonlinear optimal problem when using the constraint condition of the earth surface. We suggest "flying" the particle swarm directly using the earth surface constraint. Computer simulation results show the effectiveness of the new localization method. © 2011 IEEE.

For the global navigation satellite system (GNSS) cannot meet the positioning requirements under occlusion or malicious interference, this paper proposes a receiver self-localization method using long-term evolution (LTE) downlink signals. The method is based on the multi-station time difference location mechanism. The signal acquisition of multi-base stations (BSs) is realized by signal demodulation. The transmission time difference calibration is used to solve the asynchronous problem among BSs. The synchronous signal and cell-specific reference signal are comprehensively detected to extract high-precision time difference parameters. The receiver can calculate and obtain its own position by using these timing parameters. Finally, a software-defined receiver is built to carry out experiments in the outdoor environment. Experimental results show that the positioning distance and moving direction are basically consistent with the actual situation. The root mean square error (RMSE) is less than 5m, which fully verifies the feasibility of LTE as an opportunity signal for navigation. © 2022 IEEE.

Frequency shift keying（FSK） modulation function in MATLAB without filter function, leading to poor adjacent channel suppression, which causes aliasing after a non-linear device easily. Based on FSK modulation signal generation principle, designing a better adjacent channel suppression function in this paper, which verified by demodulating through Agilent’s vector signal analyzer（89600S）, this function gets achieved more satisfactory results in the application of semi physical simulation.

10G Ethernet technology has been widely used in modern high speed communication system. As a result, program design for high-speed data capture on 10G Ethernet, as the first and important step in network monitor and analysis system, has become a challenging task. This paper proposed a high-speed data capture method based on WinCap and shared memory pool technology and has features of high speed, low packet loss rate, high efficiency and good portability. The system test and data analysis proved that the proposed method in this paper can effectively capture the data at speed of 6Gbps and stably keep the packet loss rate under 0.03%. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Cognitive radio adaptation for power consumption minimization using biogeography-based optimization

Adaptation is one of the key capabilities of cognitive radio, which focuses on how to adjust the radio parameters to optimize the system performance based on the knowledge of the radio environment and its capability and characteristics. In this paper, we consider the cognitive radio adaptation problem for power consumption minimization. The problem is formulated as a constrained power consumption minimization problem, and the biogeography-based optimization （BBO） is introduced to solve this optimization problem. A novel habitat suitability index （HSI） evaluation mechanism is proposed, in which both the power consumption minimization objective and the quality of services （QoS） constraints are taken into account. The results show that under different QoS requirement settings corresponding to different types of services, the algorithm can minimize power consumption while still maintaining the QoS requirements. Comparison with particle swarm optimization （PSO） and cat swarm optimization （CSO） reveals that BBO works better, especially at the early stage of the search, which means that the BBO is a better choice for real-time applications.

A new airborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) jamming-swing error phase modulation jamming is presented. The method uses the swing error of the line-of-sight SAR during the motion of the airborne SAR and modulate the phase error caused by the swing error to the radar signal received by the jammer to generate the jamming signal and transmit the jamming signal to the radar receiver. The effectiveness of this jamming method against the common motion error compensation algorithm-phase gradient autofocus (PGA) algorithm is analyzed. The simulation experiment verifies the correctness of the theoretical analysis. © 2019 IEEE.

The binary phase-coded radar signal code rate estimation and code sequence retrieval are important in EW and ELINT. In this paper, the statistical autocorrelation function of the binary phase-coded radar signal is studied in depth, and a code rate estimation and a code sequence retrieval method are proposed. With the signal symbol length rough estimation, the sampling points of calculating statistical autocorrelation function can be adaptively selected. Furthermore, exploring the valley points of the autocorrelation function envelope to detect the signal phase abrupt points, the signal code rate can be estimated and the code sequence can be recovered. Experimental results corroborate that the proposed method can effectively reduce the mean square errors of the code rate estimation and code sequence retrieval in low signal to noise ratio (SNR) conditions. © 2019 IEEE.

Generative adversarial network(GAN)has achieved great success in many fields such as computer vision,speech processing,and natural language processing,because of its powerful capabilities for generating realistic *** this paper,we introduce GAN into the field of electromagnetic signal classification(ESC).ESC plays an important role in both military and civilian ***,in many specific scenarios,we can’t obtain enough labeled data,which cause failure of deep learning methods because they are easy to fall into ***,semi-supervised learning(SSL)can leverage the large amount of unlabeled data to enhance the classification performance of classifiers,especially in scenarios with limited amount of labeled *** present an SSL framework by incorporating GAN,which can directly process the raw in-phase and quadrature(IQ)signal *** to the characteristics of the electromagnetic signal,we propose a weighted loss function,leading to an effective classifier to realize the end-to-end classification of the electromagnetic *** validate the proposed method on both public RML2016.04c dataset and real-world Aircraft communications Addressing and Reporting System(ACARS)signal *** experimental results show that the proposed framework obtains a significant increase in classification accuracy compared with the state-of-the-art studies.

Carrier-aided code tracking loop is widely used in satellite navigation receivers. This kind of loop structure can reduce code tracking noise by narrowing the bandwidth of code tracking loop. The performance of carrier-aided code tracking loop in receivers is affected by frequency deviation of reference clock source. This paper analyzes the influence of carrier frequency offset and sampling frequency offset on carrier-aided code tracking loop due to reference clock offset. The results show that large frequency offset can cause code tracking loop lose lock, code tracking loop is more sensitive to sampling frequency deviation and increasing the loop bandwidth can reduce the effects of frequency offset. This analysis provides reference for receiver tracking loop design.
