Many migration strategies have been proposed forPrisoner's Dilemma game on square lattice, such as randommigration, success-driven migration and adaptive migration. Inthis paper, we introduce three novel migration strategies: failure driven migration, hate-driven migration and global-scope migration. Based on the length of migration, individual with one of the first two strategies decides when and where to move into empty nearby places based on its performance in current site, while individual with a global-scope migration can move to anywhere. Then we compare them with the cases of no migration, random migration and success-driven migration. The simulations show that the failure-driven migration has the best performance in most circumstances. While defectors dominate in success-driven migration cases.

New self-calibration schemes for accelerometers in platform INS

To ensure success of precise navigation, it is necessary to carry out in-field calibration for the accelerometers in platform inertial navigation system(PINS) before a mission is *** continuous self-calibration methods are not fit for fast calibration of accelerometers because the platform misalignments have to be estimated precisely and the nonlinear coupling terms will affect accuracy. The multi-position methods with a "shape of motion" algorithm also have some existing disadvantages: High precision calibration results cannot be obtained when the accelerometer's output data are used directly and it is difficult to optimize the calibration scheme. Focusing on this field, this paper proposes new fast self-calibration methods for the accelerometers of PINS. A data compression filter is employed to improve the accuracy of parameter estimation because it is impossible to obtain non-biased estimation for accelerometer parameters when using the "shape of motion" algorithm. Besides, continuous calibration schemes are designed and optimized by the genetic algorithm(GA) to improve the observability of parameters. simulations prove that the proposed methods can estimate the accelerometer parameter more precisely than traditional continuous methods and multi-position methods, and they are more practical to deal with urgent situations than multi-position methods.

Towards Realistic Face Photo-Sketch Synthesis via Composition-Aided GANs

Face photo-sketch synthesis aims at generating a facial sketch/photo conditioned on a given photo/sketch. It is of wide applications including digital entertainment and law enforcement. Precisely depicting face photos/sketches remains challenging due to the restrictions on structural realism and textural consistency. While existing methods achieve compelling results, they mostly yield blurred effects and great deformation over various facial components, leading to the unrealistic feeling of synthesized images. To tackle this challenge, in this work, we propose to use the facial composition information to help the synthesis of face sketch/photo. Specially, we propose a novel composition-aided generative adversarial network (CA-GAN) for face photo-sketch synthesis. In CA-GAN, we utilize paired inputs including a face photo/sketch and the corresponding pixel-wise face labels for generating a sketch/photo. In addition, to focus training on hard-generated components and delicate facial structures, we propose a compositional reconstruction loss. Finally, we use stacked CA-GANs (SCA-GAN) to further rectify defects and add compelling details. Experimental results show that our method is capable of generating both visually comfortable and identity-preserving face sketches/photos over a wide range of challenging data. Our method achieves the state-of-the-art quality, reducing best previous Fréchet Inception distance (FID) by a large margin. In this paper, we propose a general framework for constructing IGA-suitable planar B-spline parameterizations from given complex CAD boundaries consisting of a set of B-spline curves. Instead of forming the computational domain by a simple boundary, planar domains with high genus and more complex boundary curves are considered. Firstly, some pre-processing operations including Bézier extraction and subdivision are performed on each boundary curve in order to generate a high-quality planar parameterization;then a robust planar domain partition framework is proposed to construct high-quality patch-meshing results with few singularities from the discrete boundary formed by connecting the end points of the resulting boundary segments. After the topology information generation of quadrilateral decomposition, the optimal placement of interior Bézier curves corresponding to the interior edges of the quadrangulation is constructed by a global optimization method to achieve a patch-partition with high quality. Finally, after the imposition of C1/G1-continuity constraints on the interface of neighboring Bézier patches with respect to each quad in the quadrangulation, the high-quality Bézier patch parameterization is obtained by a C1constrained local optimization method to achieve uniform and orthogonal iso-parametric structures while keeping the continuity conditions between patches. The efficiency and robustness of the proposed method are demonstrated by several examples which are compared to results obtained by the skeleton-based parameterization approach. A new generation memory, Non-Volatile Memory (NVM), such as Phase-Change Memory (PCM), has been adopted together with DRAM in the main memory to form the hybrid main memory for low energy consumption and high capacity. The biggest challenge of hybrid memory is how to decrease the average memory access cost for the higher cost of NVM's read/write operation. Currently, most researches are based on migration. However, the page migration itself is a high cost operation. And the migration based policy produces many migration operations, which induces high cost in memory access. Therefore, in order to decrease the cost, we present a virtual page behavior based page management policy (VBPM) in this paper. According to the virtual pages' behavior, we allocate virtual pages into DRAM or PCM physical pages correspondingly. The whole process is migration independent. The experimental results show our VBPM decreases the average memory access time by 24%, moreover, VBPM improves real-time performance in critical path.

First, the paper emulated cluster bombs’random point of fall, the radius of damage of the bombs, drew the bombs’ damage range, and counted the damage effect. The final damage efficiency of cluster bombs was calculated and the influence from each damage factor of the cluster bombswas studied through many random experiences. The method solved the tough problem of the precise calculation of damage efficiency, which was caused by the overlapped damage size. © 2015 Taylor & Francis Group, London.

To guarantee success of precision navigation, it is necessary to carry out in-field calibration for the accelerometers of the inertial navigation system (INS) before a mission is launched. Traditional multi-position calibration method for accelerometers of the inertial measurement units (IMU) are carried out through a turntable (Strap-down INS) or the gimbals(platform INS). To achieve high precision calibration results, the position of the turntable (gimbals) need to be locked precisely. However, the high precision positions are difficult to be attained outside the laboratory. Focusing on this problem, a new calibration method is proposed which uses the gravity residual to reduce the effects caused by locking errors of the positions. simulations are conducted to analyze the performance and the sensitivity of the proposed methods. It is proved that the proposed methods can estimate the accelerometer parameter more precisely than traditional multi-position methods. © 2015 IEEE.

Dynamical thermalization of Frenkel-Kontorova model in the thermodynamic limit

We study numerically the process of dynamical thermalization in the Frenkel-Kontorova (FK) model with weak nonlinearity. The total energy has initially equidistributed among some of the lowest frequency linear modes. It is found that the energy transfers continuously to the high-frequency modes and finally evolves towards energy equipartition in the FK model. However, the metastable state, which was found in Fermi-Pasta-Ulam (FPU) model and φ4 model in a relatively short time scale, is not found in the FK model. We further perform a very accurate systematic study of the equipartition time Teq as functions of the particle number N, the nonlinear parameter β, and the energy density ɛ. In the thermodynamic limit, the dependence of Teq on β and ɛ is found to display a power law behavior: Teq∝βaɛb. The exponents a and b are numerically found to be approximately −2.0 and 1.43. This scaling law is also quite different from those of the FPU-β model and φ4 model.

The existing method of task mapping between process models is mostly based on the similarity of labels to get the similarity between tasks, which is affected by a single factor and easy to cause errors. This paper proposes a task mapping method for Artifact-Centric business process analyzes the data operation in business process execution. At first we add the description of data operation to EZ-Flow model. Secondly select the similar artifact attributes of the two business artifact by whole artifacts similarity calculation and based them to calculate two tasks’ similarity by label similarity, artifact operation similarity and context similarity calculations. Finally, the task mapping comes from the optimal selection of tasks’ similarities. Experimental results verify the effectiveness of the method, and show that the method reflects the data operation characteristics of business process model, as artifact task mapping of the process model provides a feasible method. © 2016 SERSC.

In the test and evaluation of operation, the test benefits may be greatly reduced because no useful conclusions may be obtained from test data due to missing or incompleteness of test information records. Based on the characteristics of gun firing and by separating firing errors, this paper proposes an idea using for analyzing firing accuracy in case of incomplete test data records, establishes a method for analyzing chi-square distribution-based firing accuracy data, and conducts test data analysis on test data of a certain type of weapon. The effectiveness of this method is proven by analysis results which have offered effective method for conducting test data analysis.
