First, the paper emulated cluster bombs’random point of fall, the radius of damage of the bombs, drew the bombs’ damage range, and counted the damage effect. The final damage efficiency of cluster bombs was calculated and the influence from each damage factor of the cluster bombswas studied through many random experiences. The method solved the tough problem of the precise calculation of damage efficiency, which was caused by the overlapped damage size. © 2015 Taylor & Francis Group, London.

A new generation memory, Non-Volatile Memory (NVM), such as Phase-Change Memory (PCM), has been adopted together with DRAM in the main memory to form the hybrid main memory for low energy consumption and high capacity. The biggest challenge of hybrid memory is how to decrease the average memory access cost for the higher cost of NVM's read/write operation. Currently, most researches are based on migration. However, the page migration itself is a high cost operation. And the migration based policy produces many migration operations, which induces high cost in memory access. Therefore, in order to decrease the cost, we present a virtual page behavior based page management policy (VBPM) in this paper. According to the virtual pages' behavior, we allocate virtual pages into DRAM or PCM physical pages correspondingly. The whole process is migration independent. The experimental results show our VBPM decreases the average memory access time by 24%, moreover, VBPM improves real-time performance in critical path.

To guarantee success of precision navigation, it is necessary to carry out in-field calibration for the accelerometers of the inertial navigation system (INS) before a mission is launched. Traditional multi-position calibration method for accelerometers of the inertial measurement units (IMU) are carried out through a turntable (Strap-down INS) or the gimbals(platform INS). To achieve high precision calibration results, the position of the turntable (gimbals) need to be locked precisely. However, the high precision positions are difficult to be attained outside the laboratory. Focusing on this problem, a new calibration method is proposed which uses the gravity residual to reduce the effects caused by locking errors of the positions. simulations are conducted to analyze the performance and the sensitivity of the proposed methods. It is proved that the proposed methods can estimate the accelerometer parameter more precisely than traditional multi-position methods. © 2015 IEEE.

Dynamical thermalization of Frenkel-Kontorova model in the thermodynamic limit

We study numerically the process of dynamical thermalization in the Frenkel-Kontorova (FK) model with weak nonlinearity. The total energy has initially equidistributed among some of the lowest frequency linear modes. It is found that the energy transfers continuously to the high-frequency modes and finally evolves towards energy equipartition in the FK model. However, the metastable state, which was found in Fermi-Pasta-Ulam (FPU) model and φ4 model in a relatively short time scale, is not found in the FK model. We further perform a very accurate systematic study of the equipartition time Teq as functions of the particle number N, the nonlinear parameter β, and the energy density ɛ. In the thermodynamic limit, the dependence of Teq on β and ɛ is found to display a power law behavior: Teq∝βaɛb. The exponents a and b are numerically found to be approximately −2.0 and 1.43. This scaling law is also quite different from those of the FPU-β model and φ4 model.

The existing method of task mapping between process models is mostly based on the similarity of labels to get the similarity between tasks, which is affected by a single factor and easy to cause errors. This paper proposes a task mapping method for Artifact-Centric business process analyzes the data operation in business process execution. At first we add the description of data operation to EZ-Flow model. Secondly select the similar artifact attributes of the two business artifact by whole artifacts similarity calculation and based them to calculate two tasks’ similarity by label similarity, artifact operation similarity and context similarity calculations. Finally, the task mapping comes from the optimal selection of tasks’ similarities. Experimental results verify the effectiveness of the method, and show that the method reflects the data operation characteristics of business process model, as artifact task mapping of the process model provides a feasible method. © 2016 SERSC.

In the test and evaluation of operation, the test benefits may be greatly reduced because no useful conclusions may be obtained from test data due to missing or incompleteness of test information records. Based on the characteristics of gun firing and by separating firing errors, this paper proposes an idea using for analyzing firing accuracy in case of incomplete test data records, establishes a method for analyzing chi-square distribution-based firing accuracy data, and conducts test data analysis on test data of a certain type of weapon. The effectiveness of this method is proven by analysis results which have offered effective method for conducting test data analysis.

Under the background of the system of systems(Sos) confrontation of army weapon, owing to being enclosed in the sealed fighting subsystem, and the effectiveness matrix is degrading, so the effectiveness equivalent on the varieties of the weapon in the system of systems cannot be conducted for many years as a difficult problem in the field of assessment on the effectiveness of weapon systems. The principle of multiple effectiveness equivalent aiming at expanding the traditional effectiveness equivalent theory was presented, filling in gap existing in the original theory, and satisfactorily realized the effectiveness equivalent of varieties of main weapon systems in army's weapon system of systems, which is an important breakthrough and innovation in the study on assessment of effectiveness of weapon systems, enjoying broad utilization prospect.

Erasure-coded storages provide data reliability for big data archiving and backup with high storage efficiency. However, erasure code generates a large amount of data transmission traffic in both encoding (write) and decoding (repair) which costs substantial bandwidth in the network. Most of the existing work focus on the decoding cost due to the importance of data repair, but unfortunately overlooks the encoding cost. In this paper, we propose Aggregation Encoding for reducing the bandwidth cost of the encoding phase in erasure-coded storages. Aggregation Encoding takes inspiration from network coding to enforce encoding through data transmission, which reduces redundant information transmitting. The extensive analysis and experimental results demonstrate that Aggregation Encoding reduces bandwidth cost by 20% in average.

Current situation of foreign technical readiness development is introduced. On the basis, technical readiness levels corresponding to model product whole-life cycle process in China are given. Module division is the basis for product modularization. The rationality of the product module division directly affects the function, performance, development time, cost, general degree of module, convenience of maintenance and so on. A module partition method has been proposed based on the interface relationship of Pros and Cons. It parted the module using fuzzy theory, based on the qualitative hierarchy decomposition of the function, considering the interface depending factors of the parts at the same time in this method. And it introduced "information entropy" concept to evaluate the different module partition schemes, then choose the best module partition scheme. Finally, an example validated the method.
