In radar automatic target recognition (RATR), inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) image recognition shows its advantages. Due to the limited sample size of ISAR images, support vector machine (SVM), known for its robustness in small sample classification, is often used for ISAR image recognition. For ISAR images of different targets, the single kernel SVM algorithm might lose its robustness. Therefore, this paper applies multiple kernel learning (MKL) to ISAR ship target recognition. The process begins with the preprocessing of the ISAR images to suppress Gaussian white noise. Then, principal component analysis (PCA) is employed to extract features from the ISAR images. Finally, the Simple-MKL method is used to recognize the samples. Experiments based on simulation data indicate that the method used in this paper improves the accuracy compared to other single-kernel SVM algorithms with different kernel functions.

In the experimental test of the radar system, it is extremely important to build a realistic experimental environment for electromagnetic target testing, which is often realised by the radar target simulation technology. Corner reflectors often simulate radar RCS features by the spatial arrangement;however, their electromagnetic characteristics are solidified and the RCS features differ from those of real targets. This paper proposes a target RCS simulation method based on AFSS echo power modulation. The core idea is to use AFSS reflection modulation to dynamically regulate the target power information to achieve flexible and fast control of the target radar RCS characteristics. Based on the AFSS echo power modulation model, the theoretical relationship between the modulation parameters and the RCS value is deduced, and the duty cycle of the scattering state control signal is used as an adjustable variable to realise the simulation of the dynamic RCS sequence of the mid-range target. The RCS simulation experiment is carried out based on the target measured data, and the simulation effect is analysed in terms of statistical characteristics and similarity coefficients. The simulation results show that the statistical characteristics of the simulated RCS sequence and the target RCS sequence are very close to each other with the mean value and standard deviation within 1 dBsm and the extreme value and extreme deviation within 3 dBsm. The method is of great significance in the field of radar system tests and electronic protection. © 2025 The Author(s). Hydrogel-based wearable flexible pressure sensors show great potential for applications in human health and motion monitoring. However, fabricating hydrogel sensors with excellent mechanical properties, sensitivity, and stability remains challenging. In this study, we developed a poloxamer-quaternized chitosan-polyacrylamide (P407/QCS-PAAm) hydrogel with multifunctional capabilities. These hydrogels exhibit high strength, impact resistance, excellent electrical conductivity, hydrophilicity, and outstanding antimicrobial properties. Due to the dynamic hydrogen bonding provided by QCS, the mechanical properties of the hydrogel can be adjusted by regulating the QCS content, achieving tensile strengths ranging from 0.14 to 0.47 MPa and compressive strengths from 2.07 to 5.49 MPa. The quaternary ammonium groups carried by QCS enhance the gel's conductivity (0.29 S/m) and its bacteriostatic effects. Furthermore, the incorporation of P407 improves the hydrogel's hydrophilicity. These properties make the gel an excellent biosafety material for wearable devices. Notably, the hydrogel precursor exhibits rate-tunable sol-gel transition properties, enabling 3D printing. DiffDual-AD: Diffusion-Based Dual-Stage Adversarial Defense Framework in Remote Sensing With Denoiser Constraint

Deep neural networks (DNNs), though highly effective in various Earth observation tasks with remote sensing images (RSIs), are vulnerable to adversarial attacks, threatening their reliability. Each maliciously attacked RSI potentially contains unique and critical information, but current defenses lack a unified framework for rapidly detecting adversarial RSIs and accurately restoring them to their natural state. To bridge this research gap, we propose a diffusion-based dual-stage adversarial defense (DiffDual-AD) framework. In the first stage, we propose a novel adversarial detection method based on the score expectation (AD-SE), which is integrated into the forward process of diffusion model with an improved denoiser constrained for adversarial defense. During the reverse process, the second stage introduces the distance and label-guided adversarial purification (DL-GAP) to restore adversarial RSIs to natural ones. With the help of two proposed guidelines and the specific denoiser, the DL-GAP effectively smooths out the adversarial perturbations from the detected adversarial RSIs while preserving semantic information and local key features. Finally, DL-GAP yields non-adversarial purified RSIs based on the results of AD-SE. Both stages are integrated within the diffusion models, complementing each other to form a pipelined operational mode. Extensive experiments across three RSI scene classification datasets have proven its efficacy in resisting adversarial RSIs in both transparent-box and opaque-box scenarios, achieving an average adversarial detection accuracy of 87.02% with AD-SE and an average final classification accuracy of 81.50% with the entire DiffDual-AD. The performances of our proposed AD-SE and DL-GAP have surpassed other advanced adversarial detection and purification methods when applied to RSIs. Multiplexed model predictive attitude control for nadir-pointing satellite using only magnetorquers

Due to the low failure risk of magnetorquers, the control strategy based on magnetic actuators can significantly enhance the reliability of the satellite attitude control system. In light of this advantage, this paper conducts research on model predictive control (MPC) algorithm for nadir-pointing satellites equipped only with magnetorquers. Firstly, to facilitate controller design, the linear time-varying (LTV) model for nadir-pointing satellites is derived by linearizing the nonlinear equations around the operating point. Then, leveraging this linearized representation, an LTV multiplexed MPC (MMPC) method with exponential weighting is proposed. The MMPC scheme allows for faster sampling rates and quicker responses to disturbances, thereby enhancing the overall performance of the satellite attitude control system while retaining the benefits of MPC. Finally, compared with a state-of-the-art SMPC method, the proposed method is particularly advantageous in situations where computational resources are limited, specifically for satellites that rely only on onboard computing capabilities. © 2025

As the development of Internet of things(IOT), massive sensors have been deployed as the public infrastructure. With the development of in-depth applications in IOT, service discovery and composition are challenges to the end users. To handle this challenge, we develop a service mining scheme based on semantic for IOT to provide users with interesting composite services. In this scheme, services can be combined and recommended to users actively according to the calculation of service similarity and an updatable semantic database. By the results of service similarity, useless compositions can be filtered out so that energy consumption on service flooding will be reduced. The update strategy of semantic database is also given out, by which the composite services can keep up with time and be more applicative. The benefits of the proposed method are that all operations such as calculating, filtering, and updating are simple enough to be performed in sensor networks.

Optical interferometry images are widely used in many research areas such as geoscience and remote sensing. However, the phase image which gets from the sensors is modulo-2π, and an important process is to estimate the absolute phase from the observation which is termed phase unwrapping. This paper addresses the absolute phase estimation of large scale images. The proposed phase unwrapping method is patch based which divides the large interferogram into small patches and does the unwrapping based on Markov Random Field for each small patch. This paper also analyzes the two types of errors that may be caused in the combination of the patches and studies how to get rid of these errors. The advantage of the proposal is that the method can be used for the wrapped phase images with discontinuous areas. Experiments in the paper show the efficiency of the proposed algorithm.

Diffusion mechanism simulation of cloud manufacturing complex network based on cooperative game theory

Cloud manufacturing is a specific implementation form of the "Internet + manufacturing" strategy. Why and how to develop cloud manufacturing platform(CMP), however, remains the key concern of both platform operators and users. A microscopic model is proposed to investigate advantages and diffusion forces of CMP through exploration of its diffusion process and mechanism. Specifically, a three-stage basic evolution process of CMP is innovatively proposed. Then, based on this basic process, a more complex CMP evolution model has been established in virtue of complex network theory, with five diffusion forces identified. Thereafter, simulations on CMP diffusion have been conducted. The results indicate that, CMP possesses better resource utilization,user satisfaction, and enterprise utility. Results of simulation on impacts of different diffusion forces show that both the time required for CMP to reach an equilibrium state and the final network size are affected simultaneously by the five diffusion forces. All these analyses indicate that CMP could create an open online cooperation environment and turns out to be an effective implementation of the "Internet + manufacturing" strategy.
