This paper presents an improved particle swarm optimization (IPSO) to solve constrained optimization problems, which handles constraints based on certain feasibility-based rules. A turbulence operator is incorporated into IPSO algorithm to overcome the premature convergence. At the same time, a set called FPS is proposed to save those P best locating in the feasible region. Different from the standard PSO, g best in IPSO is chosen from the FPS instead of the swarm. Furthermore, the mutation operation is applied to the P best with the maximal constraint violation value in the swarm, which can guide particles to close the feasible region quickly. The performance of IPSO algorithm is tested on a well-known benchmark suite and the experimental results show that the proposed approach is highly competitive, effective and efficient. © 2009 Springer Berlin Heidelberg.

When the traditional SNR estimation algorithm based on singular value decomposition (SVD) is applied to the digital data analysis of spaceflight TT&C system, problem of large deviation arises. This paper analyzes the limitations of SVD, and proposes a modified singular value decomposition (MSVD) SNR estimation algorithm. Before estimating SNR by use of SVD, MSVD does some processing to whiten noise, such as band-pass, down-sampling, and up-sampling. The simulation results show that this algorithm can, within a large range, accurately estimate the actually received SNR, effectively improving the application scope of traditional algorithms.

To offer the military personnel a good service of assisting them to get information about enemy's equipment outside Internet, we build a system named MilChat which includes a large language model that has the ability to generate texts and an application which is easy to use. The model of MilChat is fine-tuned by the method of LoRA with military datasets from the basic model, Qwen-7B-Chat which is opensource and has good performance. After fine-tuning, the new model has higher scores than the basic one. Besides, we use the method of Prompt Learning to limit the answers into a standard format. Therefore, it is more accurate and professional than the basic model. This study has also a value of industrial application.

Edge computing is an emerging paradigm to meet the ever-increasing computation demands from pervasive devices such as sensors, actuators, and smart things. Though the edge devices can execute complex applications, it is necessary for some applications to migrate to centralized servers. By offloading the computation from the edge nodes to the edge servers or cloud servers, the quality of computation experience could be greatly improved. However, it may cause delay and increase network overheads, and energy consumption eventually. Therefore, an optimal offloading strategy should take into account what task should be offloaded, when to offload and where to offload to avoid the overheads. Thus, it is important to tradeoff between energy consumption, computation delay and throughput when the system makes the computation offloading to achieve high energy efficiency. In this paper, we conduct a survey of energy aware edge computing, including the existing work on computation offloading frameworks and strategies in edge computing. Specifically, we describe the strategies from the perspective of energy aware offloading, energy optimization offloading and offloading algorithms. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2019.

The explosive growth in cloud-based services, big data analytics, and artificial intelligence related services provisioning leads to the rapid growth of construction of large scale Internet data centers (IDCs). Modern IDCs are equipped with various sensors to monitor its healthy operation and maintenance states, such as temperature, thermal distribution, air flow, etc. However, fine-grained, single-node level and even mainboard level monitoring including server resource consumption and power consumption is still needed for more progressive resource multiplexing and job scheduling in IDCs. In this paper, we propose an edge computing platform for intelligent Internet data center operational monitoring, which integrates wireless sensors and on-board built-in sensors to sense and collect the data of data center operation and maintenance. The edge computing based solution reduces the latency for data transportation to central clouds and reduces the amount of data and enhances the real time resource capping decisions in data centers. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2019.

Downward-looking MIMO array 3-D synthetic aperture radar is a hot research recently, it overcomes the layover and can acquire more information with the affordable antenna elements. The multiple transmitters and receivers provide a larger degree of freedom, which could be uesd to reduce the pulse repeat frequency, extend the wide-swath or suppress the interferers and so on. However, there are little literates considering the polarization in this new radar system, this paper introduce the polarization in and proposed a Tikhonov regularization algorithm to reconstruct the 3-D images. The simulation results show the proposed algorithm is excel to FFT method with the SNR increase. © VDE VERLAG GMBH · Berlin · Offenbach.

In multi-criteria collaborative filtering, the data sparsity is a critical factor affecting the effectiveness of the algorithm. Existing solutions generally remove low-efficiency data through dimensionality reduction, decomposition, etc. While at lower data dimension, they also lose original data information, which impacts the accuracy of predicted ratings. This paper adopts a new processing strategy and proposes to use the matrix filling method to handle the missing data. Firstly, an improved similarity algorithm combined with the Jaccard Similarity Coefficient is used to calculate the predicted rating. Secondly, the Reliable Factor is introduced to prevent the error of filling data. Finally, multiple linear regression is employed for aggregating the ratings of the criteria to eventually yield preferred predicted ratings. A series of experiments show that the proposed method can precisely reflect the user's similarity and achieve better results in predicted ratings, in contrast to traditional methods. © 2018 IEEE.

The explosive growth of massive data generation from Internet of Things in industrial, agricultural and scientific communities has led to a rapid increase in cloud data centers for data analytics. The ubiquitous and pervasive demand for near-data processing urges the edge computing paradigm in recent years. Edge computing is promising for less network backbone bandwidth usage and thus less data center side processing, as well as enhanced service responsiveness and data privacy protection. Computation offloading plays a crucial role in network packets transmission and system responsiveness through dynamic task partitioning between cloud data centers and edge servers and edge devices. In this paper a thorough literature review is conduct to reveal the state-of-the-art of computation offloading in edge computing. Various aspects of computation offloading, including energy consumption minimization, Quality of Services (QoS), and Quality of Experiences (QoE) are surveyed. Resource scheduling approaches, gaming and tradeoffing among system performance and system overheads for offloading decision making are also reviewed. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2019.

A decoupled control approach based on linear active disturbance rejection control idea is proposed. The plant model, in which the coupling dynamics is as a part of disturbance, is established, and some virtual control variables are defined. Thus the original coupling plant is divided into some single-input single-output systems and the virtual control variables are willing to be determined by linear active disturbance rejection control method, and the real control variables are easily solved from virtual control variables according to their relationship. The approach is employed to a hypersonic near space vehicle lateral autopilot. The numerical simulations show that the proposed approach has good decoupling effectiveness and guarantees angle command signal tracking accuracy. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Joint entity and relation extraction has achieved impressive advances in NLP, such as document understanding and knowledge graph construction. The typical methods for entity and relation extraction typically break down the joint task into several smaller components or stages for ease of implementation, but this leads to a loss of the interconnected knowledge in the triple. Hence, we propose to model the triple in one module jointly. Furthermore, the labeling of a joint entity and relation extraction tasks is costly and domain-specific; therefore, it is important to improve its performance on low-resource data and domain adaption. To address this issue, we suggest using two sources that are rich in information, namely pre-trained models on large data and multi-domain text corpora. Pretraining allows us to provide the model with the fundamental ability to perform joint entity and relationship extraction. Second, through meta-learning on multi-domain text, we can improve the model's generalization capabilities, enabling it to perform well even with limited data. We present MTL-JER, a Meta-Transfer Learning method for Joint Entity and Relation Extraction in low-resource settings in this paper. Using exhaustive experiments on five datasets, we prove that our model obtains optimal results.
