In smart building, services are stored as rules and achieved by rule analyzing and executing. However, the irrational contents of rules and conflicts between rules may bring confusion and maloperation in the rule system. In this paper, we propose a lightweight rule verification and resolution framework to solve the problem which provides content anomaly detection and rule conflict detection. We also provide a quick resolution strategy for rule conflicts based on conflict-scenario-analysis so as to guarantee the rule system performing appropriately.

Traffic-Aware Channelization Medium Access Control for Wireless Ad Hoc Networks

Existing multi-channel Medium Access Control (MAC) protocols have been demonstrated to significantly increase wireless network performance compared to single channel MAC protocols. Traditionally, the channelization structure in IEEE 802.11 based wireless networks is pre-configured, and the entire available spectrum is divided into subchannels and equal channel widths. In contrast, this paper presents a Traffic-Aware Channelization MAC (TAC-MAC) protocol for wireless ad hoc networks, where each node is equipped with a single half duplex transceiver. TAC-MAC works in a distributed, fine-grai-ned manner, which dynamically divides variable-width subchannels and allocates subchannel width based on the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technique according to the traffic demands of nodes. simulations show that the TAC-MAC can significantly improve network throughput and reduce packet delay compared with both fixed-width multi-channel MAC and single channel 802.11 protocols, which illustrates a new paradigm for high-efficient multi-channel MAC design in wireless ad hoc networks.

In this paper, a DDS-based C-band wideband agile frequency synthesizer is described. The DDS (Direct Digital Synthesizer) is used to achieve agile frequency hopping. The output of DDS is combined with four independent PLLs, which generate low phase noise LO signal, to expand the bandwidth. Measured results show that the frequency hopping time is shorter than 500ns. The spur suppression is better than 60dB and the phase noise is lower than -104dBc/Hz@10kHz from 6.84~7.956GHz.

In the uplink of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) systems, multiuser interference (MUI) occurs due to carrier frequency offsets (CFOs). In this paper, a novel scheme is presented to suppress MUI for the interleaved MIMO OFDMA system. The first stage is to compensate the multiple CFOs, which is based on a calculation of optimum CFO correction value maximizing the average signal-to-interference ratio (SIR). And the second stage uses minimum mean square error (MMSE) frequency domain equalizer (FDE), considering the residual MUI as additive noise, to further improve the systems' performance. simulation results show that the proposed scheme exhibits a significant improvement over conventional scheme.

Full polarization radar systems can exploit full polarization to obtain a better degree of TFD's image formation of micro-Doppler target. In this paper, the polarimetric optimization algorithm to improve the TFD's image formation of micro-Doppler has been proposed. The effectiveness of the algorithm is demonstrated by the simulation experiment as well as by the measurement experiment of a space precession target in a microwave anechoic chamber.

In order to enable the Web data to be applied in a non-Internet environment, overcoming the timeliness of Web data, this study proposes a domain Web data standardization organization method. The domain Web standardization organization framework is established and the acquired data are divided into three categories: Structured, un-structured and semi-structured. With respect to the semi-structured data within an implicit scheme, we use a rational code design to transform semi-structured data into structured data. Combining file system and relational database, a standardization organization method is established for the three types of data. Experimental results show that this method is effective and efficient. ©2013 Asian Network for Scientific Information.

Graphene coatings have been shown to protect the underlying material from oxidation when exposed to different media. However, the passivating properties of graphene in air at room temperature, which corresponds to the operating conditions of many electronic devices, still remain undear. In this work, we analyze the oxidation kinetics of graphene/Cu samples in air at room temperature for long periods of time （from I day to 113 days） using scanning electron microscopy, conductive atomic force microscopy and Auger electron microscop3~ and we compare the results with those obtained for similar samples treated in H202. We observe that unlike the graphene sheets exposed to H202, in which the accumulation of oxygen at the graphene domain boundaries evolves in a very controlled and progressive way, the local oxidation of graphene in air happens in a disordered manner. In both cases the oxide hillocks formed at the graphene domain boundaries can propagate to the domains until reaching a limiting width and height. Our results demonstrate that the local oxidation of the underlying material along the domain boundaries can dramatically decrease the roughness, conductivity, mechanical resistance and frictional characteristics of the graphene sheet, which reduces the performance of the whole device.

The polarization of radar antenna vary with scan direction. This phenomenon is called Spatial Polarization Characteristic (SPC) of antenna. Based on the SPC of single polarized antenna, a novel polarization estimation method is established. Comparing with the traditional estimation method, this one has the following advantages: (i) It does not need dual-polarization channels to estimate the signal polarization; (ii) The polarization and angle of arriving(AOA) of a periodic signal can be estimated simultaneously; (iii) The full-polarization pattern of the antenna can be matched automatically during the estimation. The feasibility of this method is proved by simulation.

complexity in system of systems (SoS) is a key factor in SoS decision making. This paper analyzes the main characteristics of SoS, especially its complexity in terms of monolithic emergence, component systems adaption and uncertainty in SoS evolution. It further discusses the effects of SoS complexity on SoS decision making. In light of SoS complexity, the paper figures out the major problems that need to be addressed in four areas, namely SoS adaption, abnormity analysis in SoS evolution, exploratory analysis of SoS capability and SoS simulation. In conclusion the paper proposes a preliminary SoS decision making model based on the analysis of SoS adaption. © 2012 IEEE.

C4ISR system is the multiplicator of system of Armament systems (SoAS). An analysis method for Contribution Degree of C4ISR system is proposed in the paper. Firstly, Overall-Effect based evaluation method for operational effectiveness of SoAS is introduced. Secondly, Contribution Degree of C4ISR system is defined and experiment flow based on exploratory simulation is designed. On this basis, an analysis method for Contribution Degree of C4ISR system is put forward. Finally, a simulation experiment is executed to prove the effectiveness of the method.
