Flexible air-breathing hypersonic vehicles show significant and complex aerodynamic, scramjet propulsion system, flight dynamic and elastic coupling characteristics, which usually are highly nonlinear. These result in huge uncertainties, parameter perturbation and internal disturbance, which can no longer be ignored, and therefore, extreme difficulties for flight control design. A unique parameter adaptive non-singular terminal sliding mode method is proposed for longitudinal control law design of a flexible coupling air-breathing hypersonic vehicle. This method uses adaptive reaching law gain instead of additional adaptive compensation term to handle the uncertainty to improve robustness. The stability of the close loop system is proved via a Lyapunov way. The longitudinal tracking control law for velocity and angle of attack is designed based on a rigid dynamic model of a flexible air-breathing hypersonic vehicle. A strong coupling model of the same vehicle, considering aerodynamic-scramjet engine-flight dynamic-elastic couplings, is established as the verification platform of control law designed. Simulation results obtained based on the coupling model demonstrate that the control law designed has good performance and acceptable robustness. © 2021, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Inc, AIAA. Polarization plays an important role in analyzing radar targets. Full polarization information has a better ability to inverse fine structures of the target. However, previous studies of high-resolution range profile (HRRP) mainly neglected effects of polarization. Therefore, a novel radar target recognition algorithm based on accelerated t-Distributed Stochastic Neighbor Embedding(t-SNE) and multi-polarization weighted fusion has been proposed. Firstly, three single polarization channels, odd and even-bounce mechanism HRRP, and full polarization HRRP are described. The accelerated t-SNE method based on Barnes-Hut approximation improves the dimensionality reduction speed of processing HRRPs while maintaining the initial information of each HRRP. Also, it is capable of visualizing different targets. With the weighted fusion of posterior probabilities of multiple support vector machines (SVMs), we are able to realize recognition of targets. Experimental results of vehicle targets based on electromagnetic calculations show that recognition performance of this algorithm is superior to other methods, and it shows strong robustness under the condition of large azimuth angle. © 2021 IEEE.

In order to realize good omnidirectional backtracking of electromagnetic waves, a Van Atta cube scatterer consists of six identical Van Atta plane arrays is proposed. In this paper, the scattering characteristics in different incident directions are emphatically studied. Simulation results show that the Van Atta cube scatterer has the advantage of omnidirectional scattering, with the effective backtracking angle range exceeding 77% of the whole angle domain.

The development of artificial general intelligence (AGI) and metaverse technologies hold great potential to enhance the effectiveness of smart cities and societies. we present a cyberphysical-social approach to integrating AGI into metaverse-based smart cities and societies, with a specific focus on parallel intelligence. The proposed approach considers the interplay between the physical environment, digital systems, social dynamics, and emerging forms of parallel intelligence, as well as swarm intelligence and collective intelligence. By leveraging these forms of parallel intelligence, the integration of AGI can create more responsive and proactive infrastructure, personalized and efficient services, and foster greater community engagement. The metaverse acts as a platform for simulating real-world scenarios and testing and refining AGI models before deployment in the physical world, while also facilitating the development and coordination of parallel intelligence. However, ethical considerations must be taken into account to ensure responsible deployment and avoid exacerbating existing societal inequalities or infringing upon individual privacy rights. This report provides a comprehensive framework for the integration of AGI and parallel intelligence into metaverse-based digital and smart organizations, while emphasizing the importance of human ethics, social responsibility, and ecological sustainability.

The overlapping and mutual coupling between transmitting and receiving signals is a knotty problem in radar radiation simulation. Interrupted transmitting and receiving (ITR) modulation can effectively solve this problem caused by limited space of the microwave chamber. In order to further expand the application of ITR modulation method, the characteristics of periodically-coded interrupted modulation signals are analyzed in this paper. Focusing on the modulated pulse coded modulation (PCM) signal, the time-frequency domain characteristics and matched filter output characteristics are studied in detail. Signal simulation experiments are carried out with MATLAB to verify the accuracy of the theoretical analysis.

We present a new algorithm that can solve the problem of recognition of continuous phase modulation (CPM) signals to phase shift keying (PSK) signals. The algorithm uses synchrosqueezing wavelet transform (SWT) to extract the instantaneous frequency (IF) of the signal. On this basis, a recognition characteristic parameter is proposed. This paper verifies the parameter is suitable for PSK and CPM signals with different modulation parameters. Finally, the simulation shows that the algorithm can fully recognize CPM signals to BPSK and QPSK signals when signal-to-noise ratio (snr) is above 6dB. Compared with the existing algorithms, the algorithm proposed in this paper has a higher recognition rate in the low snr environment.

Bandpass filtering and time-domain wavelet threshold denoising methods do not perform well in pulse signal denoising, which are not effective for Specific Emitter Identification (SEI). Base on this problem, we propose a frequency-domain wavelet threshold denoising method, and improve the threshold estimation method as well as threshold function. Simulation results show that the proposed method is more superior than traditional methods in restoring the envelope and instantaneous frequency of the single-frequency pulse signals, which proves that our method has the potential to improve the accuracy of SEI.

The study of many-objective evolutionary algorithm (MaOEA) has become particularly important, especially with the increasing complex engineering optimization problems. Considering that the convergence and diversity of the population are two important indicators to measure the performance of the algorithm, a many-objective evolutionary algorithm with threshold elite selection strategy (MaOEA-TES) are proposed in this paper. The algorithm adopts the balanceable fitness estimation strategy and the reference-point based non-dominated sorting strategy to balance the convergence and diversity of the solution. An adaptive penalty distance boundary intersection strategy is designed to dynamically adjust the impact of convergence and diversity on the algorithm. In addition, a dynamic threshold selection strategy is proposed to ensure that the algorithm emphasizes diversity at an early stage, emphasizes convergence at a later stage, and ensures that the result is closer to the real non-dominant front. The DTLZ test suite is used to evaluate the performance of MaOEA-TES. The experimental results show that the MaOEA-TES has the best performance comparing with three other state-of-the-art algorithms on many-objective optimization. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The accurate prediction of remaining useful life (RUL) is vital to improve the safety and reliability of lithium-ion battery power systems. However, owing to the effects of state (work and storage) switching and retention time randomness, it is difficult to accurately predict the RUL of lithium-ion batteries in real time. This study uses a nonlinear-drift-driven Wiener process to describe the dynamic degradation paths of lithium-ion batteries, and utilizes the Markov chain to establish a switching model and to predict the future state-switching probability. The analytical distribution of the first arrival time of the lithium-ion battery failure threshold is derived, and the model posterior parameters are updated using the Bayesian strategy. Finally, the model is verified using a lithium-ion battery dataset from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The RUL prediction model that considers state switching is superior to models that do not consider state switching. Moreover, the model shows a relative error of only 5.9388%. Overall, this study provides a theoretical basis for the research and development of lithium-ion battery RUL prediction and health management systems. © 2023, Beijing Paike Culture Commu. Co., Ltd.

Focused on revising the cumulative error of the SINS, a dual-mode navigation algorithm based on the infrared and SAR information fusion is studied in this paper. The SAR system can provide the SAR image and the information including the distance and the beam direction of the SAR antenna, the infrared system can provide the infrared image and the optical axis direction of the infrared lens. Under the premise of the same direction of the SAR and infrared beam, a navigation algorithm by associating the matching results of the SAR image and infrared image with the digital map is studied, which can be applied to amend the aberration of the SINS in the middle phase. At the same time, the common aperture characteristic and GPS error isolation method are used to isolate the error sub area. The simulation results reveal the validity of the algorithm. © 2021 IEEE.
