Brain-computer interface(BCI) provides a new way to express our minds without peripheral nerves and muscles. In this work, a process control recognition method based on continuous flickering is proposed to output continuous commands. Phase matching method was applied in this work, matching the test data with the template with the same phase to improve the accuracy. We also put forward a high tolerance criterion and give a new definition to the recognition result of attention shift period. We first conducted a screen-based continuous flickering feasibility verification experiment using correlation component analysis algorithm(TRCA) method, and the recognition accuracy reached 85% and 90% under high tolerance criterion. The average offline simulation information translates rate(ITR) was 455.8 bit/min, and the highest ITR reached 524.7 bit/min, which certificated the feasibility. Furthermore, we carried out a drone control experiment based on augmented reality(AR)-BCI using extended filter bank canonical correlation analysis(extended-FBCCA), and achieved an average accuracy of 90% and ITR of 49.1 bit/min, having better performance than repetitive visual stimulus(RVS) with intervals.

In the intelligent transportation system, vehicle detection is one of the essential technologies in obstacle avoidance and navigation, however the existing vehicle detection methods cannot meet the actual needs. This paper presents a vehicle detection method combines the intensity and distance information of point cloud, which improves the segmentation performance of nearby objects. Specifically, the data of point cloud collected by lidar is preprocessed first. Then the processed point cloud is clustered by combining its coordinate and intensity information. Finally, the clustered suspected targets are fed to the random forest classifier. Our method can efficiently detect and classify targets in large-scale disordered 3D point cloud with high accuracy. In the real-scanned Livox Mid-40 Lidar dataset, our proposed method improves the detection accuracy by 31% compared with the traditional Euclidean clustering.

Growth modes of quasicrystals involving intermediate phases and a multistep behavior studied by phase field crystal model

Understanding the microscopic kinetics of quasicrystal formation via nucleation and growth is crucial. Here, we report unusual pathways to nucleation and growth of dodecagonal quasicrystals via a phase field crystal model incorporating a two-length-scale potential. Under certain thermodynamic parameters, both quasicrystal growths via heterogeneous and homogeneous nucleation may be associated with a multistep behavior and the transient appearance of triangular and intermediate phases, different from classical nucleation pathways. The metastable intermediate phase spontaneously occurs to bridge the triangular phase and quasicrystal nuclei of different orientations to reduce the total free energy of the system. Decomposition of an undercooled fluid phase into quasicrystal phase shows a multistep pathway wherein the triangular phase and the intermediate phase may occur faster than the quasicrystal phase, when the growth rate of one length-scale ordering is significantly different from the other and the subsequent competing and coupling of both length scales are involved. The calculated structure factor, radial distribution function, and the aperiodic tiling structure of the intermediate phase explain why it appears during the quasicrystal formation.

The rapid increasing challenges of modeling and simulation for systems-of-systems Engineering (SoSE) is to deal with their large-scale and complexity of heterogeneous and inter-dependent constituent systems. Typically, the method of structural modeling provides a thorough understanding of the composition and operation of different elements, but loses sight of the dynamic characteristics of the systems or components. To make a comprehensive analysis of the system-of-systems (SoS), the solution of behavior modeling will be more important to adapt to the evolving of the SoS, which focus on understanding the constituent systems and their relationships, and evaluating changes of the constituent system, and continuously responding to the new requirements and options of SoS. This paper discusses how to support the application of modeling and simulation (M&S) based on the framework of SysML to describe the architecture and capability of SoS, and combined with the process and activities of model-based system engineering (MBSE).

With the enhancement of the anti-jamming ability of the target, it is difficult to track and strike the target stably and accurately by single guidance. It is necessary to use a variety of detectors as sensors to provide a variety of observation data to track the target stably and achieve accurate strike. In this paper, we mainly research the distributed multi-sensor estimation problem. First, the target motion model and observation model are established. Secondly, the central differential Kalman filter(CDKF) transformation is applied to address the non-linear filtering problem without the need for computation of Jacobian matrix. Then, a FCI fusion algorithm for the multi-sensor target tracking problem is proposed. Compared to the traditional covariance intersection fusion method, FCI is more efficient in computation without the need for complex optimization process. Finally, simulations are designed and implemented and the joint CDKF-FCI fusion estimation algorithm is validated.

In this paper, we proposed a novel framework for environment perception. The proposed model combines the physio-logical mechanisms of human vision and psychological principle of cognitive development. Our algorithm consists of two major components, a gist module and a memory module. The gist module simulates the cognition process associated with visual attention. The memory module is simulated by the Incremental Hierarchical Discriminant Regression (IHDR) tree, which ensures the memories of the world are distributed over the hierarchy. Experimental results on the USC dataset demonstrated that the proposed algorithm is robust and efficient. © 2019 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Malicious code is characterized by a large number of types, rapid increase in number, continuous update of transmission routes, and continuous enhancement of back analysis and back detection methods. Therefore, how to effectively detect and analyze malicious code has been a problem of great concern. This paper studies the features of binary file and disassembly file of malicious code, introduces the concept of information gain, and proposes a method to construct the multi-dimensional characteristic graph of malicious code. Finally, the convolutional neural network is used to classify the multi-dimensional feature graph of malicious code, which provides a new idea for the feature extraction of malicious code.

In view of the special properties of hyperspectral images(HSI) in the transform domain, in this paper, a new denoising method of HSI based on principal component analysis(PCA) and adaptive sparse coding is proposed. Firstly, the principal component image of each channel is obtained by performing PCA transform on the noisy HSI. Then, the first PCA output channels which contain a majority of the total energy of an HSI data cube are retained, and the rest PCA output channels which contain a small amount of energy, termed noise component images, are subjected to noise reduction through an adaptive sparse coding method. The encoding dictionaries are learned from each channel of noise component images by an approach of online dictionary learning. Finally, the denoised HSI is obtained by the inverse PCA transform. The proposed method takes the advantages of PCA and adaptive sparse representation that has better adaptability to the HSI. It not only performs better in denoising, but also preserves the details and alleviates the blocking artifacts well. The effectiveness of the proposed approach to hyperspectral denoising, termed PCASpC, is illustrated in a series of experiments with synthetic and realworld data where it outperforms the state-of-the-art. © 2018 IEEE.

The traditional predictive correction algorithm requires a large number of iterative calculations for the predicted trajectory, which greatly occupies a large amount of computing resources, so that the real-time solution of the guidance command can not be guaranteed, and the guidance accuracy will have a large impact. And the prediction correction guidance requires the algorithm to have the ability of selfadaptation and intelligent learning. Therefore, this paper proposes a cross-cycle iterative hypersonic UAV predictive correction guidance method based on reinforcement learning. The parametric control variable (CVP) method is used to construct the parametric model of the guidance command. The actor-critic-based reinforcement learning method is used to solve the guidance command in real time, and the guidance information is effectively transmitted in the adjacent guidance solution cycle. The guidance error converges to within the allowable accuracy range during the cross-cycle iteration. Monte Carlo simulation shows that the proposed method has good adaptability to initial conditions and flight parameter uncertainty, and can guarantee the real-time performance of the guidance command while achieving high-precision guidance.
