The projectile engraving process directly influences the projectile motion in-bore and impacts the firing accuracy,firing safety,and barrel life of the *** this reason,attention has been focused on this research *** address the limitations of the“instantaneous engraving”hypothesis adopted in the classical interior ballistic theory,the VUAMP user subroutine,one of ABAQUS's secondary development interfaces,is utilized in this paper to realize the modeling and numerical simulation of a coupled dynamics model of the projectile engraving *** addition to facilitating engineering applications,a polynomial fitting formula of the engraving resistance obtained by simulation is proposed and then used as a supplement to establish a closed and solvable interior ballistic model considering the projectile engraving *** comparing with test data,the simulation accuracy of the coupled dynamics model is *** results reveal that the engraving process takes 3.8 ms,accounting for 26%of the whole launch process,which takes 14.6 ms,demonstrating that the process is not *** results of this paper can serve as a reference for future studies on the coupled solution of the projectile engraving process and interior ballistics of guns or gun-like equipment.

Demand estimation of water resources is an important basic content in the process of urban water resources planning. To predict water resource demand accurately, a coupling algorithm based on bacterial foraging optimization algorithm(BFOA) and glowworm swarm optimization(GSO) is employed to estimate the demand of water resources in this paper. The historical data(2003-2015) is divided into two parts for convenience in the simulation experiments, one(2003-2012) is trained to gain the weighting factors of the estimation and the other(2013-2015) is used for predicting and evaluating water resources. In addition, the simulation results show that the coupling algorithm achieves a higher accuracy compare with BFOA and GSO on prediction.

A neural network(NN) is a powerful tool for approximating bounded continuous functions in machine learning. The NN provides a framework for numerically solving ordinary differential equations(ODEs) and partial differential equations(PDEs)combined with the automatic differentiation(AD) technique. In this work, we explore the use of NN for the function approximation and propose a universal solver for ODEs and PDEs. The solver is tested for initial value problems and boundary value problems of ODEs, and the results exhibit high accuracy for not only the unknown functions but also their derivatives. The same strategy can be used to construct a PDE solver based on collocation points instead of a mesh, which is tested with the Burgers equation and the heat equation(i.e., the Laplace equation).

We investigate a set of complex heart rate time series from healthy human in different behaviour states with the detrended fluctuation analysis and diffusion entropy (DE) method. It is proposed that the scaling properties are influenced by behaviour states. The memory detected by DE exhibits an approximately same pattern after a detrending procedure. Both of them demonstrate the long-range strong correlations in heart rate. These findings may be helpful to understand the underlying dynamical evolution process in the heart rate control system, as well as to model the cardiac dynamic process.
