In this paper, a new fourth-orders memristor chaotic system is obtained by introducing a smooth memristor model as the feedback term based on the modified three-orders chaotic system. The system can generate double-wing, four-wing chaos or hyperchaos for different parameters and initial conditions. Through the analysis of Lyapunov exponent and other dynamics, we can see that the system has complex chaotic, hyperchaotic, and continuous chaotic. Other dynamical behaviors such as multi-stability and extreme multi-stability are found by comparing phase and bifurcation diagrams, and equilibrium point calculations. Finally, the chaotic behavior is successfully verified by circuit simulation.

Clinical evidence, derived from rigorous research and data analysis, provides healthcare professionals with reliable scientific foundations for informed decision-making. Integrating clinical evidence into real-time practice is challenging due to the enormous workload, complex professional processes, and time constraints. This highlights the need for tools that automate evidence synthesis to support more efficient and accurate decision making in clinical settings. This study introduces Quicker, an evidence-based clinical decision support system powered by large language models (LLMs), designed to automate evidence synthesis and generate clinical recommendations modeled after standard clinical guideline development processes. Quicker implements a fully automated chain that covers all phases, from questions to clinical recommendations, and further enables customized decision-making through integrated tools and interactive user interfaces. To evaluate Quicker’s capabilities, we developed the Q2CRBench-3 benchmark dataset, based on clinical guideline development records for three different diseases. Experimental results highlighted Quicker’s strong performance, with fine-grained question decomposition tailored to user preferences, retrieval sensitivities comparable to human experts, and literature screening performance approaching comprehensive inclusion of relevant studies. In addition, Quicker-assisted evidence assessment effectively supported human reviewers, while Quicker’s recommendations were more comprehensive and logically coherent than those of clinicians. In system-level testing, collaboration between a single reviewer and Quicker reduced the time required for recommendation development to 20-40 minutes. In general, our findings affirm the potential of Quicker to help physicians make quicker and more reliable evidence-based clinical decisions. © 2025, CC BY.

Clustering of hyperspectral images is a fundamental but challenging task. The recent development of hyperspectral image clustering has evolved from shallow models to deep and achieved promising results in many benchmark datasets. However, their poor scalability, robustness, and generalization ability, mainly resulting from their offline clustering scenarios, greatly limit their application to large-scale hyperspectral data. To circumvent these problems, we present a scalable deep online clustering model, named Spectral-Spatial Contrastive Clustering (SSCC), based on self-supervised learning. Specifically, we exploit a symmetric twin neural network comprised of a projection head with a dimensionality of the cluster number to conduct dual contrastive learning from a spectral-spatial augmentation pool. We define the objective function by implicitly encouraging withincluster similarity and reducing between-cluster redundancy. The resulting approach is trained in an end-to-end fashion by batch-wise optimization, making it robust in large-scale data and resulting in good generalization ability for unseen data. Extensive experiments on three hyperspectral image benchmarks demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach and show that we advance the state-of-the-art approaches by large margins. Large-scale equipment presents the characteristics of technology-intensive, knowledge-intensive and complex, which brings high investment and high risk to equipment acquisition. This paper analyzes the various components of equipment acquisition to fully apply modeling and simulation technology to each stage of it. On the basis of multi-objective optimization theory, the objective function of the lowest risk and lowest cost of simulation-based acquisition (SBA) is proposed. Then establishing a multi-objective optimization model for simulation-based acquisition according to the corresponding constraints. The nondominated sorting genetic algorithm II (NSGA II) and multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO) algorithms are used to optimize the model, and the majority voting method is used for integration. The comparison of simulation examples proves that the multi-objective optimization model oriented to SBA designed in this paper can effectively realize the optimization of each objective of SBA under cost constraints. And the feasibility and efficiency of optimization solution are guaranteed.

Electrospinning has exhibited excellent benefits to treat the trauma for tissue engineering due to its produced micro/nano fibrous structure. It can effectively adhere to the tissue surface for long-term continuous therapy. This paper develops a robotic electrospinning platform for endoluminal therapy. The platform consists of a continuum manipulator, the electrospinning device, and the actuation unit. The continuum manipulator has two bending sections to facilitate the steering of the tip needle for a controllable spinning direction. Non-circular joint profile is carefully designed to enable a constant length of the centreline of a continuum manipulator for stable fluid transmission inside it. Experiments are performed on a bronchus phantom, and the steering ability and bending limitation in each direction are also investigated. The endoluminal electrospinning is also fulfilled by a trajectory following and points targeting experiments. The effective adhesive area of the produced fibre is also illustrated. The proposed robotic electrospinning shows its feasibility to precisely spread more therapeutic drug to construct fibrous structure for potential endoluminal treatments. © 2021 IEEE

This paper establishes a satellite network topology optimization model based on satellite orbital dynamics, establishes constraints from two aspects of satellite geometric visibility and satellite elevation constraints in the concept of inter-satellite links, and finally solves the above optimization problems by using simulated annealing algorithm, and presents a time-varying satellite network topology optimization method. In the actual simulation, we give a satellite network with multiple satellites and optimize it. The optimal solution of the network configuration is obtained, and a shortest inter-satellite transmission path from signal start star to signal termination star based on time-varying is solved. For this inter-satellite link, the connectivity of inter-satellite link and the fault tolerance of satellite network are analyzed, which proves the feasibility and validity of the optimization method.

This paper focuses on the problem of object depth measurement in ultra-low altitude flight, which has always been a research hotspot in the field of machine vision. Compared with the previous object depth measurement method based on a single handcrafted feature point, the method based on feature line segments can effectively weaken the adverse effect caused by the feature matching error. However, since this method involves both image processing algorithms and the use of position data provided by navigation devices, various errors will be introduced. To this end, this paper points out the error sources of that may affect the accuracy of the object depth measurement results under this method. Then, through numerical simulation, the errors are simulated and their influence rules are analyzed, with the qualitative and quantitative results presented. Finally, we also give the allowable value range of each error under the minimum requirement that the object depth measurement error in ultralow altitude flight missions does not exceed 20%, which provides a reference and guidance for both algorithm selection and practical application.

In this paper, a new optimal linear-quadratic guidance law with terminal acceleration constraints is proposed for intercepting maneuvering target. Because the angle of attack is approximately proportional to the normal acceleration for aerodynamic control missile, not only miss distance, but also terminal acceleration is required to converge to zero for increasing effectiveness of the warhead for destroying armored target in the proposed guidance law. The gain characteristic of proposed guidance law is studied by comparing with traditional optimal guidance law with considering autopilot dynamics lags. Numerical simulations are performed to examine performance of the proposed optimal guidance law, and its robustness with respect to the time constant of autopilot dynamic lags is also studied by considering time constant typical errors. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2019.

As an effective implement, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) is widely applied in the security of system for practical application. Nowadays, many methods determine the order of fault mode by a crisp risk priority number (RPN). However, these methods exist several shortcomings, for instance, the correlation of the assessments given by team members are not fully considered. In this article, a new method for risk assessment and sequence for failure modes in FMEA is proposed on account of the D-S evidence theory and the evidential correlation coefficient. By using the proposed approach, the weights of team members for each failure mode and risk factor is obtained. Then the weighted assessments are used to perform the aggregation process by Intuitionistic fuzzy weighted averaging (IFWA) operator. A classic application regarding risk assessment is used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Cell-free massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) provides more uniform spectral efficiency (SE) for users (UEs) than cellular technology. The main challenge to achieve the benefits of cell-free massive MIMO is to realize signal processing in a scalable way. In this paper, we consider scalable full-pilot zero-forcing (FZF), partial FZF (PFZF), protective weak PFZF (PWPFZF), and local regularized ZF (LRZF) combining by exploiting channel statistics. We derive closed-form expressions of the uplink SE for FZF, PFZF, and PWPFZF combining with large-scale fading decoding over independent Rayleigh fading channels, taking channel estimation errors and pilot contamination into account. Moreover, we investigate the impact of the number of pilot sequences, antennas per AP, and APs on the performance. Numerical results show that LRZF provides the highest SE. However, PWPFZF is preferable when the number of pilot sequences is large and the number of antennas per AP is small. The reason is that PWPFZF has lower computational complexity and the SE expression can be computed in closed-form. Furthermore, we investigate the performance of PWPFZF combining with fractional power control and the numerical results show that it improves the performance of weak UEs and realizes uniformly good service for all UEs in a scalable fashion.
