Underwater supporting robots serving as a relay of energy supplements and communication for other underwater equipment are promising for ocean exploration, development, and protection. This paper proposes a novel autonomous docking system centered on a designed supporting robotic fish named ‘CourierFish’. Specifically, CourierFish is capable of docking with a surface dock station for supplying itself and docking with a seafloor platform for supporting equipment in the platform. A visual navigation scheme integrating LED and ArUco markers is presented for accurate localization. The control approach for docking motion is also illustrated. Simulations and aquatic experiments are performed to verify the feasibility of the proposed docking system. The obtained results lay a solid foundation for the construction of various underwater equipment and robot networks.

The launch and recovery of Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USV) have long relied on manual assistance, which is one of the important factors limiting the wide application of USV in practical engineering. Navigation and positioning technology is the key to achieve autonomous recovery of USV. However, at present, the recovery process of USV basically still adopts manual remote control means, with high security requirements and low level of intelligence. This paper firstly describes the current situation of the application of navigation and positioning technology in the process of autonomous recovery of USV from two aspects: long-range USV navigation and positioning technology and close-range target relative positioning technology. By combining the characteristics of INS, GNSS, DVL and vision sensors, the framework of robust navigation system for the autonomous recovery of USV is designed for each stage of the recovery process. Then the key technologies involved are analyzed, including USV multi-source navigation information fusion technology and close-range visual relative positioning technology, and the corresponding adaptive federal Kalman filter algorithm and monocular visual positioning system algorithm are designed to realize accurate navigation and positioning in the autonomous recovery of USV. Finally, the navigation and positioning techniques in the autonomous recovery of USV are summarized and prospected.

Optic disc location is the basis of fundus image analysis and computer-aided diagnosis of retinopathy, which provides basic data for subsequent operations such as optic disc segmentation. In this paper, an improved Harris corner location algorithm is proposed. According to the characteristics of dense vessels and obvious gray changes in the retinal fundus image, the area with the most corners is the optic disc area. The main idea is to extract the region of interest by matching filter, main vessel extraction,image enhancement and other methods. The corner of the region of interest is extracted by Harris corner detection algorithm improved based on similarity. First, the corner is preliminarily screened to reduce the number of edge corners and reduce the operation time. Finally, the moving window is used to locate the disc. Some fundus medical images are selected for experiments,and the results show that the segmentation result of the algorithm is accurate and the segmentation effect is good. The design of GUI interface makes the positioning process and result more intuitive.

High-definition remote sensing images are more and more widely used in research and life. However, due to hardware conditions and transmission rate limitations, it is too expensive to directly obtain high-definition original images. So, it has become a research hotspot on how to use algorithms to receive high-definition remote sensing images from low-resolution *** view of the existing super-resolution methods for remote sensing images, the dependence on a large number of matching lowresolution and high-resolution(LR-HR) data sets and the slow network training time. In this paper, contrast learning is used for unpaired image-to-image conversion model(CUT-CycleGAN), which uses cyclic consistency to achieve the purpose of training using unpaired images, and adds a contrast learning framework to effectively shorten CycleGAN’s training time and to improve efficiency. The experiment selects SRGAN, CycleGAN, EDSR, and FSRCNN four existing super-resolution methods to compare with the method in this paper. The results show that the training time of CUT-CycleGAN is reduced by nearly 55.7%, and after training with unpaired images, the quality of the generated high-definition images is good enough.
