In the field of artificial intelligence, neural network is one of the key technologies used for image classification and recognition. However, recent work has demonstrated that deep neural networks are easily attacked by adversarial examples to make misjudgments. Adversarial examples are almost indistin-guishable from normal examples and yet cannot be classified correctly by neural networks. The existence of adversarial examples is a major obstacle to the practical application and deployment of neural networks, so the research on adversarial defense algorithms is an important topic in the field of AI security. This paper proposes an adversarial example defense algorithm based on a triplet network and voting decision mechanism. Firstly, two neural networks with different structures are trained based on normal dataset. Secondly, the first network is fine-tuned using the adversarial examples generated by these two networks, resulting in a third neural network. Then, these three neural networks are used as sub-networks in parallel to construct a triplet network. Through adversarial training and differences in structures, the transferability of adversarial examples among the three sub-networks is weakened. Finally, the final classification result is obtained by majority voting, based on the parallel output results of the three sub-networks. Through the complementarity between these three sub-networks, the defense against adversarial examples is realized. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of this algorithm. © 2022 IEEE.

In autonomous robot exploration, it is very important that the robot can autonomously plan the exploration path of the unknown environment and create a map representation of the surrounding environment. In the robot's autonomous environment traversal method, one branch is the frontier-based detection method. This method consumes more and more computing resources as the map expands and is not suitable for large-scale environment detection. Another branch is the random exploration method based on multiple rapidly-exploring randomized trees. This method uses the edge of the tree to search for the boundary, but the selection of the next exploration point is very demanding. This paper proposes an exploration point selection strategy based on the hybrid clustering method, which speeds up the RRT exploration method. simulation experiments show that the improved RRT exploration method proposed in this paper takes less time to explore and build maps, especially in a large-scale mapping environment, which effectively improves the completeness and efficiency of mapping. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In the complex electromagnetic environment of modern electronic warfare, active deception jamming poses a serious threat to radar. This paper proposes the identification of active deception jamming based on residual neural network (RESNET), and studies the bispectral characteristics of the signal and the method of identifying the active deception jamming of RESNET. This algorithm firstly extracts the bispectral features of the jamming signal, and uses the bispectral diagonal slice as the input of RSNET to realize the recognition of active deception jamming. simulation results show that the algorithm has high recognition accuracy, not only has good anti-noise performance, but also has excellent robustness under low JSR. © 2021 IEEE.

In recent years, the booming development of artificial intelligence has driven the development and progress of society. With its excellent performance, deep learning has been widely used in many fields, including some security-sensitive fields such as unmanned systems, auto-driving and so on. Research has found that deep neural networks are vulnerable to adversarial samples, which can lead to misclassification of neural networks and can cause serious safety incidents. Hence, the study of adversarial samples has received increasing attention, and researchers have conducted studies from different perspectives, and relevant research results have emerged. However, most of these studies have focused on visible images, and few have studied infrared images, which play an important role in military and other important fields. In this paper, a comparative study on adversarial attacks for visible and infrared images is presented. A number of adversarial attack experiments are conducted on ResNet18 and VGG16 models for visible and infrared images. By comparing the experimental results, the characteristics of infrared adversarial samples are derived relative to those with visible adversarial samples. Then, a gradient attack method from a frequency domain perspective is proposed. The adversarial perturbation noise is added to the low frequency component of images. It is verified experimentally that the proposed method improves the transferability of infrared adversarial samples compared to some baseline methods. © 2022 IEEE.

Federated learning is a distributed training method that integrates multi-party data information using privacy-preserving technologies through dispersed client data sets to jointly construct a global model under the coordination of a central server. However, in practical applications, there is a high degree of data distribution skewness among clients, which causes the optimization direction of the client models to diverge, resulting in model bias and reducing the accuracy of the global model. Existing methods require the calculation and transmission of much information to correct the optimization direction of the client models, or only roughly limit the deviation of the client models end-to-end, ignoring targeted processing of the internal structure of the model, resulting in unclear improvement effects. To address these problems, we propose a federated optimization algorithm FedECCR based on encoding contrast and classification correction. This algorithm divides the model into an encoder and a classifier. It utilizes prototype contrastive training of the model encoder and unbiased classification correction of the classifier. This approach notably improves the accuracy of the global model while maintaining low communication costs. We conducted experiments on multiple data sets to evaluate the validity of our method, and the quantified results showed that FedECCR can improve the global model classification accuracy by approximately 1% to 6% compared to FedAvg, FedProx, and MOON. © ICST Institute for Computer sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering 2024.

Adaptive radar detection of subspace-based distributed target in power heterogeneous clutter

This paper investigates the problem of adaptive detection of distributed targets in power heterogeneous clutter. In the considered scenario, all the data share the identical structure of clutter covariance matrix, but with varying and unknown power mismatches. To address this problem, we iteratively estimate all the unknowns, including the coordinate matrix of the target, the clutter covariance matrix, and the corresponding power mismatches, and propose three detectors based on the generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT), Rao and the Wald tests. The results from simulated and real data both illustrate that the detectors based on GLRT and Rao test have higher probabilities of detection (PDs) than the existing competitors. Among them, the Rao test-based detector exhibits the best overall detection performance. We also analyze the impact of the target extended dimensions, the signal subspace dimensions, and the number of training samples on the detection performance. Furthermore, simulation experiments also demonstrate that the proposed detectors have a constant false alarm rate (CFAR) property for the structure of clutter covariance matrix. © 2024, CC BY.

Against the unstructured terrain environment, human drivers often rely on remote operating patterns to accomplish tasks with robots. With the gradual improvement in robot intelligence, a key problem that urgently requires attention is how to bridge cognitive and perceptual differences between human and robot in collaborative decision-making processes. Particularly effective resolution of differences in decision outcomes is crucial. Therefore, this paper utilizes the decision logic process and prior knowledge model of human drivers to form robot’s decision framework, narrowing the cognitive differences between human and robot. Besides, embedding the human-robot-environment features that affect the decision-making process as prior knowledge into the robot’s decision-making system can effectively reduce perceptual gaps. Under the same decision framework, a negotiation strategy is proposed for forming a unified decision outcome between human and robot by finding an optimal concession rate. This study utilizes a hexapod robot simulated driving platform to gather experimental data and develop prior knowledge for robots. It also leverages virtual reality equipment and visual augmentation technologies to establish a remote human-robot collaborative decision-making experimental system. The experimental results conducted in complex obstacle terrain demonstrate the effectiveness of adopting the negotiation strategy for human-robot collaborative decision-making. Compared with the individual human or robot decision, the human-robot collaborative decision method significantly enhances robot stability, reduces energy consumption, and minimizes collisions. © 2024, The Authors. This paper presented an adaptive gain scheduling algorithm for hypersonic vehicles with wide envelopes. First, the linear parameter variable parameter (LPV) model of hypersonic vehicles is established in the flight envelope. Then, the active disturbance rejection controller is considered to cope with disturbances and uncertainties, and the control gain is scheduled using the guardian maps method to adapt to the wide envelope of velocity and height. Finally, numerical simulation results show good control performance and meet the required performance indexes in all operating conditions, demonstrating the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method.

Incorporating positive temperature coefficient(PTC)ceramic particles into polymers provides a prospective alternative solution for suppressing severe electric field distortions caused by negative temperature coefficient(NTC)of electrical resistivity within polymer insulation in high voltage direct current *** effect of the Curie temperature of PTC particles on the inhibition of the NTC effect of cross-linked polyethylene(XLPE)is investigated in this *** temperature coefficient particles with varied Curie temperatures are surface-modified and melt blending with *** modified particles are dispersed on averagely in the *** electrical resistivity,space charge behaviour,and direct current(DC)electrical breakdown strength of the samples are investigated at different temperatures,exploring the effect of the Curie temperature of PTC particles on suppressing the NTC effect of *** is demonstrated that the reduction in Curie temperature can further suppress the NTC effect of XLPE,enhance the DC strength at elevated temperatures,and inhibit the internal space charge *** reduction in the Curie temperatures means that the initiation of the PTC effect advances,exhibiting a higher potential barrier and inhibiting the NTC effect more *** work may give a reference for improving the temperature stability of DC properties for XLPE cable insulation.
