Synthetic aperture radars (SARs), characterized by their excellent performance, have found wide use in military applications. SAR-based image recognition is an important research area. Neural networks (NNs) have been widely used for image recognition and have demonstrated high recognition accuracy. However, NNs require a significant amount of data for training. In situations with limited training data, it is difficult to obtain satisfactory recognition accuracy using NNs. One approach toward alleviating the problems associated with small training sets is data augmentation. Here, we propose a novel SAR-based image augmentation method: using CycleGAN, aerial images are transformed into SARformat images, thereby allowing expansion of the SAR dataset. To improve the quality of these transformed images, we designed two filters: 1) a pre-filter for selecting images that are suitable for the transformation and 2) a post-filter for selecting suitable images after the transformation; this allows approximating the transformed images as real SAR images. We validated our method on the SSDD dataset. Our experimental results show that compared with the traditional data augmentation method, our method exhibits better recognition performance. With only 300 transformed images, the mean average precision improved from 66% to 76%, using only a small fraction of the SSDD dataset, thus overcoming the problem of small-sized training sets.

Texture evolution in rolled Mg-1 wt%Zn and Mg-1 wt%Y binary alloys was analyzed by quasi-in situ electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)during static ***-1 wt%Zn and Mg-1 wt%Y alloys exhibited strong basal texture at the initial recrystallization *** grain growth annealing,the basal texture component{0001}<1120>was increased in Mg-1 wt%Zn alloy and that of Mg-1 wt%Y alloy was decreased to be a random *** and Y atoms segregated strongly to the recrystallized grain boundaries in Mg-1 wt%Zn alloy and Mg-1 wt%Y alloy,***,Zn and Y elements facilitated the grain boundary movements along contrary directions during grain *** Mg-1 wt%Zn alloy,due to the Zn element segregation on grain boundaries,the grains consisted of a strong texture grew more easily because the grain boundary migration tended to move from the orientation close to normal direction to the orientation near to transverse direction or rolling ***,after grain growth,the volume fraction of texture component{0001}<1120>was increased by consuming the neighboring grains,leading to a stronger basal *** the contrary,in the Mg-1 wt%Y alloy,the Y element segregation caused the opposite direction of grain boundary migration,resulting in a random texture.

Accurate forecasting for photovoltaic power generation is one of the key enablers for the integration of solar photovoltaic systems into power *** deep-learning-based methods can perform well if there are sufficient training data and enough computational ***,there are challenges in building models through centralized shared data due to data privacy concerns and industry *** learning is a new distributed machine learning approach which enables training models across edge devices while data reside *** this paper,we propose an efficient semi-asynchronous federated learning framework for short-term solar power forecasting and evaluate the framework performance using a CNN-LSTM *** design a personalization technique and a semi-asynchronous aggregation strategy to improve the efficiency of the proposed federated forecasting *** evaluations using a real-world dataset demonstrate that the federated models can achieve significantly higher forecasting performance than fully local models while protecting data privacy,and the proposed semi-asynchronous aggregation and the personalization technique can make the forecasting framework more robust in real-world scenarios.

This paper explores the conditions which make a regular balancedrandom(k,2s)-CNFformula(1,O)-unsatisfiable with high *** conditions also make a random instance of the regular balanced(k-1,2(k-1)s)-SAT problem unsatisfiable with high probability,where the instance obeys a distribution which differs from the distribution obeyed by a regular balanced random(k-1,2(k-1)s)-CNF *** F be a regular balanced random(k,2s)-CNF formula where k≥3,then there exists a number so such that F is(1,O)-unsatisfiable with high probability if s>so.A numerical solution of the number so when k e(5,6,...,14)is given to conduct simulated *** simulated experiments verify the theoretical ***,the experiments also suggest that F is(1,O)-satisfiable with high probability if s is less than a certain value.

In response to the existing style of deceptive jamming of Global Position System (GPS) receivers by aerial jammer carriers, a method using improved multi-layer perceptron (MLP) model is proposed to identify and classify interference sources based on the rate of change of satellite incoming angle. The work firstly constructs an airborne GPS interference source localization deployment model, then analyzes and verifies the rationality of this simulation data model, and finally emphasizes the superiority of the proposed method using the classical classification algorithm as a comparison method. The simulation results indicated that the proposed method is capable to identify the corresponding interferers with a greater rate of recognition compared with other method in the built multi-interference source environment, which provides a reference for dealing with the interference identification and classification in the networked GPS interference source deployment environment. © 2022 IEEE.

A Service Mining Scheme Based on Semantic for Internet of Things

As the development of Internet of things (IOT), massive sensors have been deployed as the public infrastructure. With the development of in-depth applications in IOT, service discovery and composition are challenges to the end users. To handle this challenge, we develop a service mining scheme based on semantic for IOT to provide users with interesting composite services. In this scheme, services can be combined and recommended to users actively according to the calculation of service similarity and an updatable semantic database. By the results of service similarity, useless compositions can be filtered out so that energy consumption on service flooding will be reduced. The update strategy of semantic database is also given out, by which the composite services can keep up with time and be more applicative. The benefits of the proposed method are that all operations such as calculating, filtering, and updating are simple enough to be performed in sensor networks.

Performance comparison of lithium fractionation from magnesium via continuous selective nanofiltration/electrodialysis

Although selective nanofiltration(SNF)and selective electrodialysis(SED)have been widely adopted in the field of Mg^(2+)/Li^(+)separation,their differences have not been illustrated *** this study,for the first time,SNF and SED processes in continuous mode were studied for Li+fractionation from the same brine with high Mg/Li ratios and their differences were discussed in *** a fair analysis of the two processes,typical factors were ***,the optimal operating pressure and feed flow rate for SNF were 2.4 MPa and 140 L·h^(-1),respectively,while the optimal cell-pair voltage and replenishment flow rate for SED were 1.0 V and 14 L·h^(-1),*** the Li^(+)fractionation capacity of the two processes were similar,the selectivity coefficient of SNF was 24.7% higher than that of SED and,thus,the Mg/Li ratio in purified stream of the former was 19.0% lower than that of the *** to higher ion driving force,SED had clear advantages in recovery ratio and concentration ***,the specific energy consumption of SED was 20.1% lower than that of *** study provided a better understanding and guidance for the application and improvement of the two technologies.

Fabrication of wear-resistant PA6 composites with superior thermal conductivity and mechanical properties via constructing highly oriented hybrid network of SiC-packed BN platelets

Herein,a strong extensional and shearing field was introduced to construct highly oriented hybrid networks of silicon carbide(SiC)-packed boron nitride(BN)platelets to fabricate high-performance wearresistant PA6 *** show that in-plane and through-plane thermal conductivity(TC)of the prepared PA6 composites with a total filler loading of 20 wt.%reached 1.31 and 0.35 W/(m K),352%and 25%higher than those of pure PA6,*** is attributed to the highly oriented hybrid network that facilitates the formation of efficient thermal conductivity *** monitoring results during friction confirm that high TC favors the friction heat dissipation ***,the yield strength of PA6 composites increased by 39.1%and they still have excellent ductility with an elongation at break of 207.1%.Finally,the wear rate of PA6 composites decreased sharply by 92.5%.This method can be used to manufacture advanced linear bearing and guideway parts,etc。
