Module division is the basis for product modularization. The rationality of the product module division directly affects the function, performance, development time, cost, general degree of module, convenience of maintenance and so on. A module partition method has been proposed based on the interface relationship of Pros and Cons. It parted the module using fuzzy theory, based on the qualitative hierarchy decomposition of the function, considering the interface depending factors of the parts at the same time in this method. And it introduced "information entropy" concept to evaluate the different module partition schemes, then choose the best module partition scheme. Finally, an example validated the method.

The suspension system with high performances is an important factor ensuring the tracked vehicle mobility and comfortable in different situations. Magneto rheological dampers, which are semi-active suspension equipment that use magneto rheological fluids to produce controllable force, can be used as smart actuators to reduce the vibrations of mechanical systems. An analytical study is performed in this article to examine the effectiveness of this type of actuator in suppressing the vibrations of a tracked vehicle suspension system. Based on the fluid mechanics theory, an amendment dynamic model of magneto rheological damper is derived. Considering the suspension characteristic and uncertainty of a magneto rheological damper, a variable universe fuzzy controller is designed to achieve a control of active variable damping. The results proved that the derived magneto rheological damper dynamic model is correct and indicated that the designed variable universe fuzzy controller could reduce the tracked vehicle vibration, which will further establish the basis of engineering application for a magneto rheological damper on semi-active suspension.

The evaluation model of artillery firing efficiency is widely applied to firepower command&control and large-scale simulation, it is very important for improving precision and speed of calculation to enhance capability of firepower command&control and large-scale simulation. Two-dimensional subsection Simpson integration was introduced to evaluation the artillery firing efficiency model, the analysis of two-dimensional subsection Simpson integration in theory showed that convergence speed of two-dimensional subsection Simpson integration enhance to O(h4). The simulation results indicate that, speed of two-dimensional subsection Simpson integration is higher 20 times than statistics experiment method, precision of two-dimensional subsection Simpson integration is a little higher than the typical numerical integration such as midpoint formula integration and statistical experiment method, but it can promote precision by 10% than approximate computation method.

We address the fine-grained image recognition problem using user click data, wherein each image is represented as a semantical query-click feature vector. Usually, the query set obtained from search engines is large-scale and redundant. We propose a novel query modeling approach to merge semantically similar queries and construct a compact click feature. We represent each query as a click feature, and design a graph based propagation approach to predict the zero-clicks, ensuring similar images have similar clicks. Afterwards, using this feature, we formulate the problem as a sparse coding based recognition task, wherein the dictionary is discriminatively trained. We evaluate our method for fine-grained image recognition on the public Clickture-Dog dataset. It is shown that, the propagated click feature performs much better than the original one. Also, sparse coding performs better than K-means in query merging. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2018.

Update summarization can be a daunting task in automatic text summarization. It aims to distill evolved messages from a collection of new articles, under the assumption that the reader has already browsed the previous articles. In this paper, a number of state-of-the-art approaches were reviewed for extracting update summarization and then a method called DPC-TS was proposed. This approach is derived from the DPC-based multi-documents summarization method, which was developed in 2015. In our study, a model was established by using the topic signature algorithm, to evaluate the novelty of sentences in update documents set. In addition, the scheme of calculating similarities between sentences and sentence selection approach was improved to ensure there are diversity topics in the summary. DPC-TS update documents summarization method is a simple and effective approach, which can be reproduced and deployed in real environment. © 2016 IEEE.

In recent years, the development and deployment of the U.S. weapon equipment systems-of-systems (SoS) have yielded rich research results. However, there are still large gaps in the SoS development, joint testing, and design and acquisition of our own equipment SoS. The barriers of these steps have not yet been opened up. This article mainly analyzes the solutions of the U.S. weapon equipment SoS from three aspects, such as capability-based requirement generation and architecture design technology, interconnected-oriented integration test technology, and weapon equipment design and acquisition technology based on complex adaptive systems. We explore key technologies involved in order to form an overall understanding and explore related research approaches. © 2020 IEEE.

In order to insure the quality of battlefield information guarantee, promote efficiency of data management, and mining these values of data, a data management approach for battlefield data of targets and environment is studied in this paper. Concepts of targets and environment are introduced, these originals of data are discussed and classified, and these characters of data are analyzed. By describing data processing, establishing an organization, grading data qualities, the data of targets and environment is incremented in this processing with a data management standard system of system and the information recommending services base-on knowledge. An example is introduced to illustrate the data management process vividly. Finally the suggestions to improve data management are given. Empirical results show that the approach can insure qualities of information guarantee, promote efficiency of data management and increment data value. By enhancing the data management of targets and environment, costs can be cut down, efficiency can be improved, and resource deployment can be optimized. © 2011 IEEE.

The unpredictability and uncertainty of the new space mission has induced new challenges to the traditional spacecraft design method, by which the satellite and the launch vehicle are designed individually. According to the system theory and the system approach, a novel integrated design model for spacecraft is put forward in this article. Firstly, the feasibility of the proposed model is analyzed. Then, the qualitative analysis on the integration design scheme for the subsystems (including the sensors, the controller, the attitude & orbit control systems, the structure and power supply & distribution system, etc.) of the traditional satellite and the carrier rocket is carried out. Lastly, the advantages of the integration model are demonstrated through the quantitative research, especially in the uncertain space mission. © 2012 IEEE.

The load balancing problem is becoming the main technical obstacle in HLA distributed simulation development with the increasing scale of distributed simulation system. The solution of task-federate mapping and federate-processor mapping used to be determined based on experiences and the entity is taken as a task granularity in simulations in order to simplify the model in previous studies. Neither the experience methods nor the previous studies could solve the huge communication overhead or load imbalance problem effectively in large scale distributed simulation. The static load balancing optimization of HLA distributed simulation is divided into task-federate mapping and federate-processor mapping, and a two-stage mapping allocation optimization method is proposed in this paper. Decreasing communication overhead of the system is the main mission in the taskfederate mapping stage and the load balancing is studied in the federate allocation stage. The effectiveness of the proposed method, which developed a new direction for static load balancing distribution optimization in distributed simulations, is verified with experiments.
