Aiming at the influence of the nonlinearity of the motor of the fast mirror platform mechanism and the complex coupling between the platform azimuth and pitch frames on the fast mirror mechanism, a decoupling control technology based on state space feedback is proposed in this paper. Firstly, according to the dynamic model of the azimuth and pitch frame of the fast mirror platform, the state space equation is established, and the state space variables of the system are obtained. The constructed feedback system is connected in series with the original system to obtain a pseudo linear system, so that the original coupled nonlinear multi output system is transformed into two linear decoupled single input single output subsystems, In order to eliminate the complex coupling of the azimuth and pitch frame of the fast mirror platform mechanism. Finally, the system simulation platform is established in Matlab/Simulink. The results show that the decoupling technology of fast mirror platform based on state space feedback designed in this paper can effectively reduce the coupling between platform azimuth and pitch frames and improve the stability accuracy of the platform. © 2022 Institute of Physics Publishing. In the process of guiding the target device, the pointing and guidance accuracy of the on-board electro-optical reconnaissance system is affected by the relative installation position of the equipment, as it can not realize the coaxial installation with the guided device. According to the structural characteristics of the equipment, the mathematical model of target orientation function from the image plane coordinate system of the electro-optical reconnaissance system to the equipment base coordinate system is constructed, the error sources affecting the target pointing accuracy are analyzed, and the target pointing error model is established. The Monte Carlo method is used to analyze the relationship between the pointing error and its error sources. The probability density distribution of each error source is established. The target pointing accuracy performance under the influence of different errors is analyzed. And the sensitive factors affecting the pointing accuracy are figured out, which provides a certain theoretical guidance for the error allocation in the accuracy design stage. © 2023 SPIE.

most YOLO object detection neural networks prefer to focus on traditional RGB image, but previous studies rarely consider special YOLO network with compact architecture for infrared image. In this paper, we analyze original YOLO network architecture, and we propose a compact YOLO based network by using different blocks from previous work for small target detection on infrared image. We use small target detection layer, GhostConv convolution, Focus structure, Focal EIOU Loss and soft NMS modules to improve original YOLO network structure, which improves the accuracy and speed of target detection for infrared image. The experimental results show that the accuracy of target detection of original model can be effectively improved by adding the small target detection layer, the Focus structure and the BI-FPN structure. By replacing the GhostConv convolution, the calculation speed is significantly improved. At last, after the model is quantized and deployed with NCNN framework, the object detection speed can reached to 35ms per infrared image. © 2022 IEEE.

in recent years, Deep Neural Network (DNN) based methods have achieved great success for changing inflexible machine to intelligent and live system. Internet of Things (IoT) applications equipped with DNN in domains such as self-driving, speech processing and video surveillance particular challenges. Since DNNs are memory-/computing- intensive applications, FPGAs are customized to accelerate DNN on edge system due to their low latency and high energy efficiency. However, embedded CPU is usually essential for IoT system and single accelerator of FPGA is hard to gain maximized performance of the whole IoT system. Therefore, we design an efficient DNN inference framework with programming system (PS, e.g., ARM CPU) and programming logic (PL, e.g. FPGA) synergies for intelligent IoT system. Compared with the common IoT system only separately leverages FPGA for DNN accelerating and ARM for other tasks, our framework can make ARM and FPGA jointly accelerate DNN inference from the beginning. Our PS-PL co-design approach can take full advantage of the merits of ARM (control operations) and FPGA (parallel computing operations) for various DNN model accelerating. We implemented our co-design framework on Zynq SoCs. The experimental results show that our framework can achieve maximal 205.9 GOPs/s DNN inference accelerating under 6.2W while it would not affect other CPU tasks running on IoT system. © 2022 IEEE.

In recent years, with the popularity of LIDAR, depth cameras and other devices and the development of intelligent robots, high-precision maps, smart cities and other fields, the demand for outdoor scene understanding and environment perception at large scales is also getting higher and higher, and 3D point cloud semantic segmentation technology is precisely one of the research focuses. However, the current 3D semantic segmentation system mainly relies on the use of fully labelled 3D scenes for training. It is time-consuming and costly to fully annotate 10 million or even hundreds of millions of point clouds. Inspired by the weakly supervised semantic segmentation of 2D scenes, state-of-the-art research has also started to use a small number of labels to segment 3D scenes first. However, the outdoor point cloud data in it is large in scale and covers a wide area, which is a great challenge for neural networks to understand the spatial structure at large scales;secondly, the information brought by sparse labels is very important, and the model needs to improve the utilisation of sparse signals. © 2023 IEEE.

We investigate the topological properties of a two-chain quantum ladder with uneven legs,i.e.,the two chains differ in their periods by a factor of *** an uneven ladder presents rich band structures classified by the closure of either direct or indirect *** also provides opportunities to explore fundamental concepts concerning band topology and edge modes,including the difference of intracellular and intercellular Zak phases,and the role of the inversion symmetry(IS).We calculate the Zak phases of the two kinds and find excellent agreement with the dipole moment and extra charge *** also find that configurations with IS feature a pair of degenerate two-side edge modes emerging as the closure of the direct bandgap,while configurations without IS feature one-side edge modes emerging as not only the closure of both direct and indirect bandgaps but also within the band ***,by projecting to the two sublattices,we find that the effective Bloch Hamiltonian corresponds to that of a generalized Su–Schrieffer–Heeger model or the Rice–Mele model whose hopping amplitudes depend on the *** this way,the topological phases can be efficiently extracted through winding *** propose that uneven ladders can be realized by spin-dependent optical lattices and their rich topological characteristics can be examined by near future experiments.

electromagnetic interference poses a threat to global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) used in various civilian applications. Sparse representation has been extensively studied for interference cancellation. However, dictionaries of non-stationary signals are difficult to construct due to their time-varying characteristic. Therefore, the mitigation of non-stationary interference is still a challenging issue. This paper proposes an adaptive dictionary construction approach for sparse representation of non-stationary interference. The proposed algorithm utilizes the non-stationary signal analysis tool, Wigner-Ville distribution (WVD), to provide prior knowledge. The overcomplete dictionary is constructed adaptively based on the instantaneous frequencies estimated from WVD. The proposed approach can reconstruct non-stationary interference successfully exploiting the adaptive dictionary. The simulation results confirm that the proposed interference suppression algorithm can successfully mitigate the interference and achieve GNSS signal acquisitions. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Traditional guide rail-based terahertz reflection tomography works well with planar samples and complements transmission tomography. Most imaging methods perform effectively with plane-like or simple curvature samples. However, these methods are ineffective for complex shapes due to the challenges of dealing with internal corrections and stitching errors. To address the above issues, terahertz time-of-flight tomography is applied to the prepared samples with abnormal curvature using a rotating scanning array and "point cloud splicing" method. This approach enables comprehensive sample information collection and resolves the inner layer point cloud position correction challenge. A radial distance point cloud down-sampling method is proposed to reduce the impact of overlapping point clouds on reconstruction accuracy. After down-sampling, the outer layer reconstruction error reduces to 0.22%. Poisson surface reconstruction further enhances the intuitiveness of imaging results, and the reconstruction accuracy is 0.01 mm. This study broadens the application of terahertz time-of-flight tomography and offers a different approach for reflection tomography. © 2025 Optica Publishing Group under the terms of the Optica Open Access Publishing Agreement.

Underwater distance measurement and length sensing, as fundamental functions of geoscience, are integrated into underwater robots and vessels in various forms of sensor payloads and play a crucial role in a wide range of remote sensing applications. Advanced laser-based detection systems and algorithms are essential for underwater tasks, such as detecting damage in underwater pipelines and conducting detailed structural health assessments. In this paper, we experimentally demonstrated an arbitrary underwater ranging system by the chirped pulse interferometry with a mode-locked laser. Water's inherent characteristic introduces dispersion, enabling unique distance discrimination. Adjusting the repetition frequency allows us to acquire the interference spectrum. A long fiber delay line, stabilized by the servo-controlled system, eliminates the ranging dead zone. The widest fringe of the interference spectrum, corresponding to an instantaneous repetition frequency, indicates the arbitrary measured distance. Leveraging a charge-coupled device detection module, we achieved an update rate of 13.5 Hz for the interference spectrum. Experimental results show a precise distance difference within 59.8 μm at the 5 m range underwater without the dead zone. © 2025 IEEE. All rights reserved.

There is a strong demand for lightweight, miniaturization and non heating in the design of airborne infrared dual band optical system. A transmissive infrared optical system is introduced, which can meet the confocal requirements of medium wave infrared and long wave infrared light, and can realize non heating design in the temperature range of - 55 ℃~+71 ℃. By deeply analyzing the non thermal mathematical and physical core, combining the difference of dispersion coefficient and thermal difference coefficient of different materials, using germanium, zinc sulfide and zinc selenide with appropriate positive and negative optical powers, a common optical path structure of the secondary imaging optical system with a "4+4" configuration is designed, with a focal length of 200mm and a F number of 2;Indium steel and aluminum are used for the base and the mirror tube, and the difference of thermal expansion coefficient between the two materials is used to achieve heat dissipation difference. This design method can realize the design of dual band non thermal optical system at a lower cost. Its transmissivity, distortion, MTF, cold reflection and other indicators meet the design requirements. The optical system achieves the imaging effect of high transmissivity of medium and long wavelength infrared light. © 2023 SPIE.
