CPS is a multidimensional complex system that can realize the interaction between computing process and physical process. Aiming at the problems of fault occurrence and uncertain behavior, this paper proposes the fault analysis stochastic hybrid automata as a formal model, the attributes of randomness and fault analysis are added through AADL behavior attachment to expand the attributes of hybrid automata, and applies the extended automata to the embedded system for system description and fault analysis. The model is used to model the fire control system, and AADL, Modelica and fault tree are combined to form a new model. The behavior is analyzed, and the conversion algorithm and conversion example are given. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In this paper, an optical fiber based ultrasonic sensor was designed and applied to the detection and position of partial discharge (PD). The Fabry-Perot interferometer with a micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) diaphragm has been proven to have high sensitivity, with broadband acoustic frequency response up to 500 kHz and wide directivity. In the PD detection experiment, the minimum detectable pressure (MDP) of the fiber optical MEMS sensor is achieving 0.455μPaHz -1/2. In addition, four ultrasonic sensors are arranged around the ultrasonic source to conduct localization experiments. The results show that the system has excellent localization performance in x, y and z directions. The favourable acoustic performance of the MEMS sensor provides a high-sensitivity and high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) detection method for PD detection. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Dynamic reconfiguration is critical to improving safety of the flight, minimizing application loss, and balancing partition load. Reconfiguration optimization is a promising way to achieve superior flight safety because of the finite system resource and random failure. To optimize the reconfiguration strategy, we propose a deep reinforcement learning algorithm. The problem is formulated as a Markov decision process with five-tuple, and solved by our proposed deep deterministic policy gradient algorithm. The simulation result shows that our proposed algorithm outperforms the Actor-Critic algorithm and optimized reconfiguration strategy not only restores successfully the system application when failure occurs, but also balances the partition load, further improving the system security. © 2023 IEEE.

In autonomous robot exploration, it is very important that the robot can autonomously plan the exploration path of the unknown environment and create a map representation of the surrounding environment. In the robot's autonomous environment traversal method, one branch is the frontier-based detection method. This method consumes more and more computing resources as the map expands and is not suitable for large-scale environment detection. Another branch is the random exploration method based on multiple rapidly-exploring randomized trees. This method uses the edge of the tree to search for the boundary, but the selection of the next exploration point is very demanding. This paper proposes an exploration point selection strategy based on the hybrid clustering method, which speeds up the RRT exploration method. Simulation experiments show that the improved RRT exploration method proposed in this paper takes less time to explore and build maps, especially in a large-scale mapping environment, which effectively improves the completeness and efficiency of mapping. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The multicopter formation is widely used in many different complex circumstances. And the semi-autonomous multicopter formation controlled with a single pilot on the ground draws people’s attention due to the great adaptability to various kinds of environments. In this paper, we focus on the problem of passing through narrow channels with semi-autonomous multicopter formation. Similar to the definition for a single multicopter, the altitude hold mode for the multicopter formation is defined first. Then, the formation decision-making and formation low-level control of the altitude hold mode are proposed one by one. Finally, a hardware-in-the-loop simulation and a real experiment are performed with four multicopters to pass through a narrow channel. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Credibility evaluation of aircraft HWIL simulation is usually measured by the degree of consistency between simulation test data and the measured data. A new method for evaluating the credibility of aircraft HWIL simulation is established based on the idea of time-varying area measurement and uncertainty measurement Mainly for univariate, single simulation, multivariable and multi-simulation. The DTW distance measurement method is used to obtain the weight coefficients of correlated multiple response variables, and the effectiveness of uncertainty measurement method in obtaining the credibility of aircraft HWIL simulation at a certain level of confidence is verified through typical examples.

In this article, we present a switchable frequency selective surface (FSS) featuring angular stability and polarization symmetry (transmission/reflection). The proposed structure comprises two orthogonal distributions of active FSSs printed on a dielectric substrate. By altering the state of the PIN diode (ON/OFF), two distinct switchable electromagnetic functions (transmission/reflection) are achieved within the x-band frequency range. Furthermore, we analyze the behavior of the switchable transmission/reflection FSS, using equivalent circuit models (ECMs). © 2024 IEEE.

Image stitching plays an important role in the field of computer vision and image processing. Although some sophisticated stitching methods have been proposed, they are usually time-consuming. Because many application scenarios, such as video surveillance, need quick image stitching to provide a wide field of view, accelerating the image stitching is critical. In recent years, the neural network is used to stitching images, but only relatively small size images can be processed; meanwhile, time-consuming image stitching is also unavoidable. In this paper, to quickly stitch 1920×1080 images generated by the dual camera system, an image stitching algorithm is proposed. We divided the algorithm depending on its timeliness on different steps, and its time-consuming steps are parallelized on Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) platforms to be accelerated. We tested different hierarchies for organization of threads and access of memory on compute unified device architecture (CUDA) programming, and the final experiment results showed that our algorithm could reach a speedup ratio up to 119x on the Desktop with 3080ti.
