Discovering inter-point connection for efficient high-dimensional feature extraction from point coordinate is a key challenge in processing point cloud. Most existing methods focus on designing efficient local feature extractors while ignoring global connection, or vice versa. In this paper, we design a new Inductive Bias-aided Transformer (IBT) method to learn 3D inter-point relations, which considers both local and global attentions. Specifically, considering local spatial coherence, local feature learning is performed through Relative Position Encoding and Attentive Feature Pooling. We incorporate the learned locality into the Transformer module. The local feature affects value component in Transformer to modulate the relationship between channels of each point, which can enhance self-attention mechanism with locality based channel interaction. The saliency detection algorithm achieves object detection by acquiring salient regions in an image. We propose a saliency detection algorithm based on probabilistic hypergraph ranking of local features. Firstly, a probabilistic hypergraph structure based on spatial location is constructed based on the connectivity of background nodes, and the background saliency map is built using the ranking algorithm;Secondly, according to the clustering of foreground nodes, a probabilistic hypergraph based on feature clustering is constructed, and the foreground saliency map is realized using the ranking;Finally, the background and foreground saliency map are fused to obtain the saliency detection results. The simulation experiment results show that the detection accuracy of the algorithm we proposed is higher. © 2021 IEEE.

Task scheduling is a hot issue in computing fields, aiming at improving time efficiency of algorithms or resource utilization of computing platforms. This article mainly deals with the data processing scheduling problems in scientific workflow systems. In this paper, data processes in the scientific workflow will be analyzed based on the process activity graph. According to the dependencies between the processes, some processes will be merged before scheduling. During the execution of the scientific workflow tasks, the processes that can be performed in parallel will be recognized automatically by the proposed method, which will be further executed by the developed scheduling approach via virtual machines with the goal of minimizing the workflow run time. Experiments are conducted to evaluate the proposed methods. The results show the effectiveness and positiveness of the scheduling strategy.

Traditional extreme learning machine (ELM) with the advantages of fast speed and high precision, is widely used in pattern recognition and machine learning. However, it has two shortcomings: 1) Its accuracy decreases greatly under lack of available training samples. 2) The performance is greatly affected by the initialization of hidden-layer parameters. To solve the above two problems, we propose a novelty ELM named transfer extreme learning machine with cross domain mean approximation projection (TELM-CDMAP). It first uses cross domain mean approximation (CDMA) to project input data into feature subspace instead of the data transformation from input-layer to hidden-layer. Then, we apply a between-domain scatter matrix (BDSM) term into the hidden-layer and solve the optimal output weight with the ability of knowledge transfer. The classification experiments on Office+Caltech object recognition and USPS+MNIST digital handwriting datasets are carried out and the result show the effectiveness of our ELM models.

Uncontrolled exterior ballistic calculation is a typical computing intensive problem, which plays vital roles in aircraft design and trajectory planning. Solving this problem usually involves a large amount of calculation, which is time-consuming. To accelerate the multiple trajectory calculation, we design a multi-trajectory calculation architecture based on the fourth-order Runge-Katta method using multithreading parallel computing technology. The multi-trajectory calculation tasks will be allocated to different threads through tasks division. The influences of key factors of multi-trajectory calculation were analyzed in experiments. Simulation results show that the multi-trajectory parallel acceleration architecture can effectively reduce the calculation time and improve the calculation efficiency for the complex differential equations.

A novel high quality-factor(Q)micro-ring resonator(MRR)structure based on the Si_(3)N_(4) ridge-slot waveguide is proposed,and the MRR is pumped by orthogonally polarized bicolor pumping to generate *** optimized the structure of MRR by the finite element method and precise dispersion engineering,which finally obtained the suitable MRR geometry with negative dispersion characteristics at 1550 nm,having Q of 1.7×10^(7)and the absorption loss as low as 2.6×10^(-5) dB/*** simulation model of generating dual-comb is established as coupled Lugiato-Lefever equation(LLE),which takes the higher order dispersion,cross-phase modulation(XPM),multiphoton absorption,and external pumping into *** by the split-step Fourier method(SSFM)and the fourth-order Runge-Kutta(RK4)method,the numerical results show that the generated dual-comb is periodically equally spaced distribution,but with slightly different intensities in the time *** the frequency domain,there are 64 comb teeth with intensities higher than-100 dBm with a bandwidth of 120 ***,in the case of bicolor orthogonal polarization pumping,a smaller amount of detuning does not greatly affect the bandwidth of the dual-comb.

The design of transmission volume holographic gratings was proposed in this work. The PVA/AA-based dry photopolymeric material was prepared as holographic recording media. The optical setup using to prepare the volume holographic gratings was built up. Considering the spatial resolution of the photopolymer dry film, the gratings with different spatial frequencies were prepared and the diffraction efficiency of the waveguide structure was measured indirectly. The gratings with the max diffraction efficiency of 44.92% was demonstrated. The holographic waveguide was fabricated with the grating with the optimized diffraction efficiency as an input coupler. The input of laser beam into the waveguide was realized with the designed structure. © 2021 IEEE.

Compared with ordinary volume holographic gratings, holographic polymer dispersed liquid crystal(H-PDLC) grating has the advantage of adjustable electronically controlled diffraction efficiency. In this work, we theoretically simulated the degree of refractive index modulation that affects the diffraction efficiency of holographic volume gratings. Through the interference of two symmetric laser beams, a symmetric transmission H-PDLC grating was made. The diffraction properties and electro-optical characteristics of the H-PDLC were also studied. Relevant experiments were conducted to prepare a volume holographic grating with a diffraction efficiency of 74.4% and a control amplitude of when an external 50Hz rectangular wave voltage of 40V/um was applied. © 2021 IEEE.

Focused on revising the cumulative error of the SINS, a dual-mode navigation algorithm based on the infrared and SAR information fusion is studied in this paper. The SAR system can provide the SAR image and the information including the distance and the beam direction of the SAR antenna, the infrared system can provide the infrared image and the optical axis direction of the infrared lens. Under the premise of the same direction of the SAR and infrared beam, a navigation algorithm by associating the matching results of the SAR image and infrared image with the digital map is studied, which can be applied to amend the aberration of the SINS in the middle phase. At the same time, the common aperture characteristic and GPS error isolation method are used to isolate the error sub area. The simulation results reveal the validity of the algorithm. © 2021 IEEE.
