The conventional phase difference measuring methods in the phase-shift laser range finder are usually implemented with complex hardware circuits and phase discrimination algorithm. In this paper an FFT phase difference measuring method is designed and implemented based on STM32F407VG microcontroller. This method takes the advantage of the pre-set and fixed frequency of the beat signal by setting the analog-to-digital conversion rate precisely and making the input data length of FFT integral multiples of the beat signal period. In this way spectrum correction is no need. The hardware circuits and phase discrimination algorithm is simplified. The test results show that the phase difference measuring accuracy of 1/12000 is achieved. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

In this paper, thermodynamics properties of a laser detector applied in 105 mm shrapnel with high rotation speed have been explored. In outer trajectory, aerodynamic heating usually generates because of viscosity, and this is strengthened by high rotation speed of the shrapnel. Thermal strain may occur, which will influence the overall power of the detector and shrapnel. The temperature has been computed by computational fluid dynamics method, and ANSYS Workbench has been applied to obtain thermal strain. In order to disclose the effect of rotation, comparison among simulation results in different conditions are carried out. It is figured out that the temperature increase does not exceed the limit of optical material (polymethyl methacrylate), so the function of laser detector and the power of shrapnel will not be affected. This paper demonstrates the feasibility of material choice of laser detector optical systems. It has important theoretical meaning and practical application value for the design of conventional ammunition laser detector. © 2014 W. S. Maney & Son Ltd.

Since the overloads of the electromagnetic flame-proof mechanism under different working conditions are complex and hard to be verified,a numerical simulation method of this mechanism working process is proposed with the combination of Adams and ***,a simulation model of electromagnetic flame-proof mechanism was established,which includes the safety pin,the spring,and the exciting coils and so ***,the model was imported to Adams taking constraints into consideration,which include the contacts,kinematic pairs and the *** co-simulation model was established through the union of Adams and *** model was tested via simulations,and the obtained results were analyzed *** results show that the method can simulate the dynamic process of the electromagnetic flame-proof mechanism during the service process and under the normal power supply condition,and therefore the motion displacements of the electromagnetic pin under different working conditions can be obtained through *** can verify the mechanism＇s designing rationality,thus laying the foundation for the physical prototype testing and reducing the repetition of the product＇s design process.

Aiming at the problem of whether the connection strength of the thread of the penetration fuze is sufficient the operating requirements under the impact load of penetrating multi-layer target plate. Using theoretical calculation and numerical simulation methods, under three different excitation conditions (axial, axial + radial (0.3 times axial), axial + radial (0.6 times axial)) under the impact load of the multi-layer target plate, the shear strength of the thread connecting the screw and the fuze shell and the extrusion strength of the thread tooth surface were studied. The results show that the design margins under the three excitation conditions are 0.9, 0.6 and 0.1, respectively, and all have certain design margins, indicating that the connection thread of the fuze meets the strength requirements when subjected to the impact load of the penetrating multilayer target plate. © 2024 IEEE.

Antennas with conical beams have the advantage in anti-interference applications. This paper proposes a low-profile antenna with two conical beams working at X and Ka bands. To save space, a Ka-band multi-ring antenna composed of one circular plate and five concentric rings is placed on the center of an X-band uniform circular array (UCA) antenna formed by eight microstrip patches. A vortex electromagnetic wave (VEW) with mode 1 is generated with the UCA antenna with phase difference of the elements of 45 deg. With different phase difference, the higher modes of the VEW can be formed. The cylindrical cavity not only serves as the cavity of the Ka-band antenna, but also physically separates the two antennas which makes them do not interference with each other. The peak gain at 37.5GHz of Ka band is 12.4dBi, and the 3dB beamwidth is in the range of 6.9-24.4deg. The peak gain at 10GHz of X band is 8.2dBi, and the 3dB beamwidth is in the range of 12.8-43deg. © 2023 IEEE.

Aiming at the shortcomings of power supply circuit composed of energy storage capacitor and ordinary linear voltage regulator, such as slow power down and input voltage fluctuation affecting output voltage, a power supply method for detonation control module with threshold of opening and closing voltage is proposed. In this method, a 3.3V linear regulator with threshold value of opening and closing voltage is introduced, which is realized by combining energy storage capacitor and 5V linear regulator. Set the starting and closing voltage threshold to control the enabling pin of 3.3V linear voltage regulator by using resistance voltage divider. When the input voltage rises to the starting voltage, the regulator will start quickly and keep the output voltage stable. When the input voltage drops to the closing voltage value, the output voltage of the voltage regulator will power down quickly. The 3.3V linear regulator with opening and closing voltage threshold significantly reduces the time that the output voltage follows the input voltage during power on and power off, and effectively reduces the impact of input voltage jitter on the output voltage. The verification results show that the speed of powering on and powering off of the circuit developed by the power supply method can meet the power supply requirements of the detonating control module, and the power supply voltage is stable, which can effectively reduce the risks of program runaway and "crash"during powering on and powering off of the microcontroller. © 2024 IEEE.

In this study, active vibration robust control based on the mutual collaboration of agents under fault tolerance for large flexible smart truss structures (LFSTS) is investigated. First, the electromechanical coupling dynamic equation of the active truss is analyzed based on the finite element method. Subsequently, the positive position feedback (PPF) and consensus positive position feedback (CPPF) algorithms are compared, analyzing the reduction of the vibration relying on the optimal PZT stack actuator's position when agents collaborate in the designed communication topology network. Finally, simulations considering agent failure are performed to verify the fault tolerance and robustness of the active vibration control system. Compared with free vibration and PPF method, the results show that CPPF exhibits robust performance in rapidly suppressing the vibration of the LFSTS, which considerably enhances system reliability and improves pointing accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.

The adoption of consumer unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for logistics transportation is a key aspect of the emerging low-altitude economy, yet it faces significant challenges. Urban environments introduce complex obstacles, including dense buildings and unpredictable wind disturbances, while existing control methods struggle to balance path-following accuracy, disturbance rejection, and communication efficiency. To meet these demands, this paper proposes a quantized fuzzy learning path-following control for consumer UAVs. Firstly, a hysteresis quantized fuzzy disturbance observer (HQFDO) is proposed where the disturbances are approximately estimated by a neural network. Notably, a hysteresis quantizer is employed to reduce the communication bandwidth occupation by discretizing disturbance observations. Subsequently, a distributed velocity controller and a heading angle controller are designed to tackle the geometric and dynamic tasks separately. Specifically, the velocity controller introduces a projective arc length error to mitigate inefficiencies and safety risks associated with frequent acceleration and deceleration switches. Compared to conventional techniques, the proposed approach improves transient performance, enhances path attractivity, and optimizes communication resource utilization. Theoretical stability analysis is provided, and simulations validate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy. © 1975-2011 IEEE.

The research presented in this paper successfully introduces the emerging 3D reconstruction technology to specific application scenarios, especially for the strict requirements of information authenticity and timeliness for reconnaissance equipment and platforms. Traditional methods have the problems of slow speed and damaged reconstruction quality in processing reconnaissance information. In order to solve the problem of limited computing power of aerial detection platform and improve the reconstruction quality and efficiency of complex scenes, this paper introduces three-dimensional Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) method for testing. Experimental results show that 3DGS has excellent performance in rendering accuracy and real-time performance, which can effectively meet the performance requirements of aerial detection platforms. We tested it on a virtual dataset, and the experimental results show that it can also maintain excellent performance in the real world. © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

In order to improve the accuracy of short-range ferromagnetic target location and distance-determination, the short-range detection technology of ferromagnetic target based on tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) sensor is studied in this paper. Based on the analysis of the tunneling magneto-resistance effect principle and the understanding of the relevant magnetic field detecting components, a suitable signal conditioning and signal processing circuit is designed to constitute the TMR magnetic detector. Two kinds of ferromagnetic targets with regular shapes are measured at different distances and orientations, and the measured data are analyzed by curve fitting method. The results show that the output signal amplitude value of the detector is inversely proportional to the cubic power of the relative distance between the detector and the measured target when it is in the near field (no more than 5 meters in this paper). And the influence of the measured target material and detection orientation on the relationship between the two also shows a certain correlation. On the basis of the short-range static detection of general ferromagnetic targets, dynamic tests were carried out with the aim of household cars, the results indicate that the detection distance of dynamic vehicles can reach 7 meters. © 2019 IEEE.
