In traditional pulsed laser fuze systems, the emission and receiving optical systems are independent, causing a blind area, and they have little capacity to resist cloud and interference. To solve these problems, a polarized laser fuze without blind area was designed based on the polarized property of laser. For the new laser fuze, a polarized beam splitter was used to realize a mode in which the emitter and receiver use the same aperture. At the same time, its anti-interference capacity was improved by using a nanosecond laser as emitting source. An experimental system was established, in which 1064 nm polarized laser with pulse duration of 1 ns was used, and a photodetector was used as the receiver. The echo characteristics of different objects within the range of 1 m were obtained.

Using simulation test method to evaluate the performance of fuze is very helpful to reduce the cost of fuze and also speeds up the fuze research and development. Equivalence of simulation test method and real artillery launch test is a criterion to decide whether the test results are reliable. Fuze inertia arming device is taken as an example. Firstly, an equivalence criterion was proposed according to its working principle. Secondly, a mathematical model of fuze inertia arming device was established. Thirdly, a software simulation of the dynamic response of fuze inertia arming device in a series of simulated artillery launch environments and the real artillery launch environment were accomplished. At last, the simulation data analysis proved the feasibility of equivalence.

We report the first implementation of transparent electrodes in bottom-gate graphene transistors used for photo *** to conventional nontransparent electrodes,the transparent electrodes allow photons to transmit through to the graphene beneath,providing an enlarged absorption area and thereby giving rise to an enhancement of photocurrent *** devices are fabricated with an asymmetric metallization scheme and the experimental results show that the maximum photocurrent density using the transparent electrodes(ITO and Pd/ITO)is over two times higher than that using the nontransparent electrodes(Ti and Pd),indicating a significant enhancement in the performance of graphene photo sensors.

This paper presents tracking control of a compliant XY nano-positioner using a transfigured loop-shaping H ∞ (TLSH) control strategy, which is capable of achieving satisfied positioning performance. The employed compliant nano-positioner is featured with a symmetric 4-PP (P represents prismatic joint) structure in which four-bar flexures are designed as the prismatic joints, meanwhile two embedded piezoelectric ceramic actuators (PZT) are adopted. Based on the identified plant transfer function of the nano-positioner, the presented control strategy and the traditional PID controller are implemented with different input scanning frequencies of 0.5 Hz and 2.5 Hz for comparisons. Both the simulation results and the practical experimental results demonstrate that the presented TLSH control method obviously performs better than the traditional PID method in the presence of plant model uncertainty, which will be applied to perform practical micromanipulation tasks.

In this paper, a compact triple-band handset antenna (THA) and its three element array are presented for dual-mode user equipment (UE) applications, with their structures designed and performance validated by measurement. Then, based on the obtained electromagnetic parameters, a 2×2 TD-LTE multi-input and multi-output (MIMO) UE system with UE local DCS1800 interference is studied by simulation in such a realistic manner. Under given interference power level, non-linear relation models of the LTE system throughput and the system isolations are achieved, which can be used to evaluate these system performances.

A vehicle yaw stability controller is proposed to make vehicle yaw stable in critical cornering manoeuvres in the paper. Considering vehicle body dynamics, wheel dynamics and tire nonlinear characteristics, a discrete nonlinear time-varying model is firstly constructed, with disturbances standing for tire/road forces estimation error and unmodelled dynamics. Then, the controller is proposed based on sliding mode control in backstepping control framework, in which the control input is calculated step-by-step. The stability of the system is analyzed through input-to-state stability (ISS) theory. Finally, a group of simulations is carried out with a multi-body vehicle dynamics software to evaluate the controller and the results indicate that it can maintain vehicle stable in critical cornering situation.
