To enhance the detection capabilities for identifying illegal operations by oxygen factory workers and abnormal conditions of oxygen cylinders, this paper proposes an algorithm based on YOLOv7 to improve target detection. The algorithm specifically addresses the need to check whether sufficient rubber rings are installed on the oxygen cylinders and to detect whether the oxygen cylinders are rolling on the ground. A small object detection layer was introduced to enhance the capture of shallow features. Additionally, the accuracy was improved by incorporating the CBAM Attention Mechanism module. The actual field dataset was utilized for ablation and comparison tests. Safety inspections were conducted through target detection and tracking to timely identify illegal and abnormal operations, thereby avoiding repeated alarms for the same target. The issues of misjudgment and missed detection of small targets, such as rubber rings, were resolved. This significantly improved detection accuracy, reduced labor costs, and provided assurance for the safety of the factory production process. © (2025), (International Association of Engineers). Enhanced Tube-Based Event-Triggered Stochastic Model Predictive control With Additive Uncertainties

This paper proposes an event-triggered stochastic model predictive control for discrete-time linear time-invariant(LTI) systems under additive stochastic disturbances. It first constructs a probabilistic invariant set and a probabilistic reachable set based on the priori knowledge of system *** with enhanced robust tubes, the chance constraints are then formulated into a deterministic form. To alleviate the online computational burden, a novel event-triggered stochastic model predictive control is developed, where the triggering condition is designed based on the past and future optimal trajectory tracking errors in order to achieve a good trade-off between system resource utilization and control performance. Two triggering parameters σ and γ are used to adjust the frequency of solving the optimization problem. The probabilistic feasibility and stability of the system under the event-triggered mechanism are also examined. Finally, numerical studies on the control of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning(HVAC) system confirm the efficacy of the proposed control.

Carbonyl iron absorbers(CI)face significant challenges in practical applications,such as corrosion,interface bonding failure,detachment,and high maintenance ***,we have developed intelligent self-healing technology based on proactive/passive mechanisms via in situ synthesis of self-healing factors(polydopamine/benzotriazole(PDA/BTA))and physical barrier layers(SiO_(2)/1,1,1,3,3,3-hexamethyl disilazane,SiO_(2)/HMDS)to enhance corrosion resistance,while also being compatible with efficient microwave absorption *** unique multiscale structure gives full play to the utilization of the roles of each functional layer,including the intelligent self-healing features of PDA/BTA,physical shielding and spatial confinement characteristics of SiO_(2)/HMDS,and magnetic-dielectric synergistic mechanism resulted from the good impedance matching characteristics,the conduction loss,the interfacial polarization loss and natural *** asfabricated composites achieved an exceptional minimum reflection loss value of-55.4 dB at 10.7 GHz and the effective absorption band of 7.6 ***,it still exhibits obvious self-healing and corrosion resistance characteristics after 360 h corrosion treatment,ascribed to the self-healing mechanism of PDA/BTA and the blocking intervention effect of SiO_(2)/*** work is considered to pave the way for the synthesis of high-performance magnetic absorbers,especially in enhancing their intelligent self-healing ability in corrosive environments.

Design of Belt No-load Detection System Based on Image Processing technology

Belts are mainly used for transporting coal. During the conveying process, the belt may be idling. Manual inspections not only lead to reduced efficiency, but also pose safety hazards. As a result, it is proposed a belt no-load monitoring system based on the improved algorithm of support vector machine. The belt is used for on-site monitoring of belt idling problems. An initial image of the belt is acquired by a camera unit and the image is preprocessed. According to the belt images of different working conditions, feature selection is performed for images affected by external light sources, belt surface trace features and ore state distribution. Then support vector machine models using different kernel functions are constructed to classify the belts. Therefore, the belt no-load detection method proposed in this paper can to a certain extent solve the problem that artificial cannot monitor the belt status in real time and timely warning. This method reduces the chance of belt conveyor failures and makes the belt work more efficiently. © (2024), (International Association of Engineers). All rights reserved.

Aluminum is an attractive alternative fuel,but it burns very inefficiently due to the formation of a dense Al_(2)O_(3)layer which prevents O_(2)from diffusion to the surface of Al *** previous experiments,the combustion of millimeter-sized Al(mAl)particles in the fluidized bed has achieved a substantial increase in the combustion efficiency,but further improvements are still *** this study,the effects of reaction atmosphere on the fluidized combustion of mAl particles were *** experiments with different O_(2)/H_(2)O/CO_(2)concentrations were *** experimental results indicate that the combustion efficiency of mAl particles in fluidized bed increases as the mole fraction of O_(2),H_(2)O or CO_(2)increases,and the highest combustion efficiency can reach 38.7%.After the analysis of the oxide film on the surface of aluminum particles,it was found that it is easier to generate the unstableθ-Al_(2)O_(3)under CO_(2)atmosphere,and it is easier to generate the unstableγ-Al_(2)O_(3)andθ-Al_(2)O_(3)under H_(2)O *** unstable Al_(2)O_(3)film is more likely to be abraded in the fluidized bed,which leads to the effective improvement of the combustion efficiency.

Terahertz quasi-perfect vortex beam with integer-order and fractional-order generated by spiral spherical harmonic axicon

We propose a new method to generate terahertz perfect vortex beam with integer-order and fractional-order. A new optical diffractive element composed of the phase combination of a spherical harmonic axicon and a spiral phase plate is designed and called spiral spherical harmonic axicon. A terahertz Gaussian beam passes through the spiral spherical harmonic axicon to generate a terahertz vortex beam. When only the topological charge number carried by spiral spherical harmonic axicon increases, the ring radius of terahertz vortex beam increases slightly, so the beam is shaped into a terahertz quasi-perfect vortex beam. Importantly, the terahertz quasi-perfect vortex beam can carry not only integer-order topological charge number but also fractional-order topological charge number. This is the first time that vortex beam and quasi-perfect vortex beam with fractional-order have been successfully realized in terahertz domain and experiment.

Vortex clusters and their active control in a cold Rydberg atomic system with PT-symmetric Bessel potential

We propose an approach for generating robust two-dimensional(2D)vortex clusters(VCs)in a Rydberg atomic system by utilizing parity-time(PT)symmetric optical Bessel *** show that the system supports novel multicore VCs with four and eight cores,corresponding to topological charges 2 and 4,*** stability of these VCs can be dynamically adjusted through the manipulation of the gain-loss component,Kerr nonlinearities,and the degree of nonlocality inherent in the Rydberg *** VCs are confined within the first lattice well of the Bessel potential,and both the power and width of lights undergo a quasi-periodic breathing phenomenon,which is attributed to the power exchange between the light fields and Bessel *** self-attractive and self-repulsive Kerr interactions can sustain robust VCs within this *** insights presented here not only facilitate the creation and manipulation of 2D VCs through PT-symmetric potentials but also pave the way for potential applications in optical information processing and transmission.

Adjustable patch and feature prior token-based transformer for weakly supervised semantic segmentation

Weakly supervised semantic segmentation is a challenging task, utilizing only low-cost weak supervision to produce pixel-level predictions. Existing transformer-based methods for weakly supervised semantic segmentation have some limitations: (1) Fixing patch size might destroy the structured semantics, which is unfriendly to objects of different scales, and (2) Ignoring the prior features when using multi-head attention mechanisms might lead to inaccurate segmentation localization. To tackle these issues, we proposed an effective transformer framework coupled with the adjustable patch and prior feature tokens, termed as APFPformer, in which an adjustable patch module is developed to split the image according to the area of the salient object for preserving the structured semantics in patches. A prior feature token module is devised to exploit the edge and texture information as prior tokens, ensuring the gain of discriminative representation. Additionally, a single-stage scheme is applied to reduce the computation and rapid segmentation process. Our experiments demonstrate the superiority of our approach over early methods, gaining competitive mean Intersection-over-Union scores of 67.9% on the PASCAL VOC2012 dataset and 40.2% on the MS COCO dataset. © 2024 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

Dear Editor, This letter concerns about the security problem of underwater cyber-physical system(UCPS) for depth-keeping task in the vertical plane. A dynamic parametric model of the UCPS with ocean currents and hydrostatic is considered. With the intelligence of the controller, the objective function of a zero-sum game between the attacker and the controller is introduced. The attacker destroys the depth-keeping task of UCPS by injecting the designed false data into the system.

Neuroadaptive Containment control for Nonlinear Multiagent Systems With Input Saturation: An Event-Triggered Communication Approach

In this article, a neuroadaptive event-triggered containment control strategy combined with the dynamic surface control (DSC) approach is proposed for nonlinear multiagent systems (MASs) with input saturation. Based on the event-triggered communication mechanisms, the updates of neural network weight and controllers are implemented solely under triggering conditions of violation, which markedly reduces unnecessary communication resources and minimizes inefficient control costs compared with the traditional control method. Radial basis function neural networks (RBF NNs) are employed to handle the nonlinear uncertainties of MASs. Simultaneously, an adaptive compensatory mechanism is incorporated within the backstepping process to address the nonlinear effect posed by input saturation. Additionally, we demonstrate the system stability by extending the Lyapunov theorem to jump and continuous scenarios while excluding Zeno behavior, realizing that all followers can enter the convex hull constructed by leaders. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed methodology is verified through application simulations. © 2013 IEEE.
