In this paper, a data transmission communication payload for low-orbit satellite constellation is designed and implemented, which is used for bidirectional data transmission between satellites and ground. The payload comprises a transmitting phased array and a receiving antenna module, the receiving antenna module comprises a wide-beam receiving antenna and a receiving front-end assembly, and the transmitting phased array integrates a transmitting antenna array, transmitting channel, frequency source, an up-and-down frequency conversion and a baseband processing module and a secondary power supply module. Each part of the transmission phased array adopts a modular design, and the signal is interconnected without cables through the motherboard and RF plug-in connectors, and the physical structure is compacts. Through the arrangement of transmitting and receiving antennas, filtering assistance, the effective filtering of the RF channel and the effective isolation of the frequency conversion channel realize the simultaneous operation of transmitting high EIRP and receiving high sensitivity in a wide angle range. At the same time, the payload also has a variety of capabilities such as simultaneous multi-user communication, on-orbit configurable key parameters, and on-orbit reconfigurable programs.

In this paper, a high-gain 3d-printed phased array antenna is proposed for satellite applications. A multi-mode horn antenna is designed as the radiating element of the proposed phased array antenna. By optimizing the spline function curve of the inner wall of the horn section, multi-mode electric field is excited in the horn aperture, therefore the radiating element can obtain higher aperture efficiency and more compact size. The phased array antenna is composed of 25 4 × 4 subarrays and the horn section of each subarray is fabricated by the 3d-printed technology. The simulated results indicate that the proposed phased array antenna has the bandwidth of 17.8–21.2 GHz with the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) below 1.35, and achieves ±8.7° beam scanning range in both E and H plane. The peak gain of the phased array antenna is 42.2 dBi at center frequency 19.2 GHz and the coverage gain of the phased array antenna are 40.9 dBi and 41.3 dBi in E and H plane at center frequency 19.2 GHz, respectively.

Accurate prediction of the state of charge (SOC) is crucial for extending the lifespan of batteries. While traditional ampere-hour integration methods are simple and practical, they suffer from large cumulative errors and are not well-suited for complex application scenarios. This paper presents a smart battery management system based on the STM32F407VET6 microcontroller, which incorporates a deep neural network (DNN) to effectively model the nonlinear relationship between key parameters such as current, voltage, and SOC. The system features autonomous operation without requiring a host computer, enabling precise measurement of remaining battery capacity and real-time data display on an OLED screen. Furthermore, it supports data transmission in industrial environments via an RS485 module using the Modbus RTU protocol, as well as communication through CAN bus and ESP8266-MQTT for IoT applications. Experimental results demonstrate that this system can accurately predict battery SOC while facilitating multiplatform data communication. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, a type of low cross polarization phased antenna arrays for X-band spaceborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) applications is presented. The horizontal polarization radiation performance is realized with ridged-waveguide longitudinal slotted antenna arrays. The arrays are divided into several subarrays according to the scanning requirements of the phased array antennas, and V type slot is employed in ridged-waveguide wide wall as radiation unit. Excellent capacities such as matching characteristics, high efficiency and low cross polarization are achieved by adjusting the penetration angle and depth of the V slot. In the azimuth direction, the slotted waveguide antenna is designed as a linear array, and the low profile characteristics of antenna is realized by adopting stereoscopic coupling feeding technology. In the range direction, the narrow-wall dimensions of the ridged-waveguide is compressed by the ridged-waveguide to optical-waveguide mode conversion technology, and the preferable grating lobe performance is assured. A panel of 10 × 32 ridged-waveguide slotted antenna arrays with the active transceiver module are designed and fabricated, which are composed with 10 subarrays in azimuth direction and 32 subarrays in range direction, and each subarray contains 20 V slotted radiators, the total size of the phased antenna arrays is 121.6λ 0 × 23.4λ 0 . The measured result shows a good agreement with the designed and calculated values, the normal efficiency exceeds 80% and the cross polarization level is lower than −30 dB in working band-with, and the modular design and compact structure, it is suitable for sapceborne SAR system, and the arrays in orbit is in good use.

With the continuous advancement and widespread application of robotics technology, reliable and adaptable control systems have become particularly critical. This strategy can not only improve the stability and operational efficiency of robots in complex interference environments, but also bring significant social benefits, especially in the exploitation of under-water resources. However, in the face of ocean currents, robot systems need to strike a balance between stability, real-time performance, and adaptability. Therefore, this article proposes a stable control strategy with generalization ability in ocean current environments, namely, a learning based robot stability control strategy. Specifically, a control law is designed based on the state offset between the expected state and the actual state to correct the position deviation of the robot. Meanwhile, Lyapunov stability theory is used to ensure the stability of the system. It should be emphasized that this strategy can be extended to different trajectory tracking without the need for repeated parameter adjustments. In addition, to avoid the interference of ocean currents affecting the positioning of the robot itself, we use visual monitoring to obtain the real-time status of the robot. Finally, multiple sets of real experiments are constructed to validate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy. © 2024 IEEE.

A common strategy for Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning (PEFT) of pre-trained Vision Transformers (ViTs) involves adapting the model to downstream tasks by learning a low-rank adaptation matrix. This matrix is decomposed into a product of down-projection and up-projection matrices, with the bottleneck dimensionality being crucial for reducing the number of learnable parameters, as exemplified by prevalent methods like LoRA and Adapter. However, these low-rank strategies typically employ a fixed bottleneck dimensionality, which limits their flexibility in handling layer-wise variations. To address this limitation, we propose a novel PEFT approach inspired by Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) for representing the adaptation matrix. SVD decomposes a matrix into the product of a left unitary matrix, a diagonal matrix of scaling values, and a right unitary matrix. We utilize Householder transformations to construct orthogonal matrices that efficiently mimic the unitary matrices, requiring only a vector. The diagonal values are learned in a layer-wise manner, allowing them to flexibly capture the unique properties of each layer. This approach enables the generation of adaptation matrices with varying ranks across different layers, providing greater flexibility in adapting pre-trained models. Experiments on standard downstream vision tasks demonstrate that our method achieves promising fine-tuning performance. © 2024 Neural information processing systems foundation. All rights reserved.

In this paper, a low-noise frequency-agile Ku-band frequency synthesizer for the wideband frequency hopping communication system is proposed. Three analog PLL (phase locked loop), two of which constitute an in-loop mixing architecture scheme, are used to provide the carrier frequency in wide low-noise frequency coverage. With out-of-loop and in-loop mixing architecture, the carrier frequency source implemented in the paper has superior performance on frequency jitter, which can be shown as the phase noise level less than -107.3dBc/Hz@1kHz when the carrier frequency is between 12 GHz to 15 GHz in 2 MHz steps. The spurious level is below -64 dBc, and the frequency hopping time is less than 40 us. © 2023 IEEE.

Receiver plays a vital role in various electronic countermeasure systems and has always been a hot topic to research. Based on the traditional receiver digital channelization structure, this paper further researches and derives the high-efficiency digital channelization structure based on polyphase discrete Fourier transform corresponding to various application scenarios. Then we design a 256-sub-channel digital channelization system and implement it on a 64-channel parallel digital down converter to verify the structure. The system design relies on system on chip as the platform, and we verify the feasibility of it on field programmable gate array. © 2022 IEEE.

In this paper,we propose a novel deep learning(DL)-based receiver design for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)*** entire process of channel estimation,equalization,and signal detection is replaced by a neural network(NN),and hence,the detector is called a NN detector(N^(2)D).First,an OFDM signal model is *** analyze both temporal and spectral characteristics of OFDM signals,which are the motivation for ***,the generated data based on the simulation of channel statistics is used for offline training of bi-directional long short-term memory(Bi-LSTM)***,a discriminator(F)is added to the input of Bi-LSTM NN to look for subcarrier transmission data with optimal channel gain(OCG),which can greatly improve the performance of the ***,the trained N^(2)D is used for online recovery of OFDM *** performance of the proposed N^(2)D is analyzed theoretically in terms of bit error rate(BER)by Monte Carlo simulation under different parameter *** simulation results demonstrate that the BER of N^(2)D is obviously lower than other algorithms,especially at high signal-to-noise ratios(SNRs).Meanwhile,the proposed N^(2)D is robust to the fluctuation of parameter values.

This paper investigates the group formation control problem for cyber-physical systems (CPSs) with random communication constraints. The distributed cloud computing system is constructed to divide agents into groups and establish communication between agents. A data-driven predictive control strategy is proposed by combining networked predictive control and model-free adaptive control method. The desired group formation control performance can be achieved and the three-channel random communication constraints of CPSs are actively compensated. Thisstrategy does not require the system model and relies solely on the system's I/O data for adaptive learning. Further analyses concludes the conditions for simultaneous reach stability and group formation of the closed-loop CPSs using the data-driven predictive control strategy. The effectiveness of the proposed strategy is validated by simulation results. © 2023 IEEE.
