Dynamic transient responses of rotating twisted plate under the air-blast loading and step loading respectively considering the geometric nonlinear relationships are investigated using classical shallow shell *** applying energy principle,a novel high dimensional nonlinear dynamic system of the rotating cantilever twisted plate is derived for the first *** use of variable mode functions by polynomial functions according to the twist angles and geometric of the plate makes it more accurate to describe the dynamic system than that using the classic cantilever beam functions and the free-free beam *** comparison researches are carried out between the present results and other literatures to validate present model,formulation and computer *** of motion describing the transient high dimensional nonlinear dynamic response are reduced to a four degree of freedom dynamic system which expressed by out-plane *** effects of twisted angle,stagger angle,rotation speed,load intensity and viscous damping on nonlinear dynamic transient responses of the twisted plate have been ***’s important to note that although the homogeneous and isotropic material is applied here,it might be helpful for laminated composite,functionally graded material as long as the equivalent material parameters are obtained.

Zero-shot Transfer Learning of Driving Policy via Socially Adversarial Traffic Flow

Acquiring driving policies that can transfer to unseen environments is challenging when driving in dense traffic flows. The design of traffic flow is essential and previous studies are unable to balance interaction and safety-criticism. To tackle this problem, we propose a socially adversarial traffic flow. We propose a Contextual Partially-Observable Stochastic Game to model traffic flow and assign Social Value Orientation (SVO) as context. We then adopt a two-stage framework. In Stage 1, each agent in our socially-aware traffic flow is driven by a hierarchical policy where upper-level policy communicates genuine SVOs of all agents, which the lower-level policy takes as input. In Stage 2, each agent in the socially adversarial traffic flow is driven by the hierarchical policy where upper-level communicates mistaken SVOs, taken by the lower-level policy trained in Stage 1. Driving policy is adversarially trained through a zero-sum game formulation with upper-level policies, resulting in a policy with enhanced zero-shot transfer capability to unseen traffic flows. Comprehensive experiments on cross-validation verify the superior zero-shot transfer performance of our method. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

This paper proposed a multi-domain virtual network embedding algorithm based on multi-controller SDN architecture. The local controller first selects candidate substrate nodes for each virtual node in the domain. Then the global controller abstracts substrate network topology based on the candidate nodes and boundary nodes of each domain, and applies Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm on it to divide virtual network requests. Each local controller then embeds the virtual nodes of the divided single-domain virtual network requests in the domain, and cooperates with other local controllers to embed the inter-domain virtual links. Simulation experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has good performance in reducing embedding cost with good stability and scalability.

Printing custom DNA sequences is essential to scientific and biomedical research, but the technology can be used to manufacture plagues as well as cures. Just as ink printers recognize and reject attempts to counterfeit money, DNA synthesizers and assemblers should deny unauthorized requests to make viral DNA that could be used to ignite a pandemic. There are three complications. First, we don't need to quickly update printers to deal with newly discovered currencies, whereas we regularly learn of new viruses and other biological threats. Second, anti-counterfeiting specifications on a local printer can't be extracted and misused by malicious actors, unlike information on biological threats. Finally, any screening must keep the inspected DNA sequences private, as they may constitute valuable trade secrets. Here we describe SecureDNA, a free, privacy-preserving, and fully automated system capable of verifiably screening all DNA synthesis orders of 30+ base pairs against an up-to-date database of hazards, and its operational performance and specificity when applied to 67 million base pairs of DNA synthesized by providers in the United States, Europe, and China. Measuring the orbital-angular-momentum (OAM) complex spectrum of light is very important in OAM-based applications. In this paper, we propose and experimentally demonstrate a simple scheme to measure the OAM complex spectrum of light with the fast Fourier transform (FFT). The light with input OAM modes coaxially interferes with a Gaussian light beam that is generated locally to achieve the intensity distribution of the interference. By subtracting the intensity distribution of the input OAM light from this interference intensity distribution, the OAM complex spectrum can be extracted by employing the FFT transform on the result of the subtraction. In addition, we also present an approach to enlarge the range of detectable OAM modes (from 1 to 50) and analyze the effects of optical alignment and the number of superimposed OAM modes on the measurement results. The proposed scheme is demonstrated in a proof-of-principle experiment, where six superimposed OAM modes can be measured without error, with their average deviation of amplitude and phase being 0.07 and 0.308, respectively. The proposed scheme can exploit applications in some advanced domains, including OAM sensing, OAM imaging, optical communication decoding, and various other OAM-based systems.

Classification of chicken egg quality using faster region convolutional neural network

Chicken eggs are one of animal product which have high nutrition with cheaper price compared to another animal product. As one of the most consumed food, the quality of chicken eggs need to be more considered. According to SNI 3926:2008 and Egg Grading Manual Booklet, the quality of chicken egg can be seen from inside and also external characteristic of egg (egg shell). The internal characteristic are the yolk, egg whites, blood stains. The external characteristic are color, texture, cleanliness, thickness of the shell. This study builds a system which can detect the quality of chicken eggs by seeing the texture and the color of the shell. The quality of that chicken eggs grouped into three levels which is Grade A, Grade B, and Grade C. The amount of data that used in this study are 60 data that divided into 480 data for training and 120 data for testing. Data were doing pre-processing before classified with Faster Region Convolutional Neural Network method with ResNet-50 as pre-trained model. Based on the result of training system, this system can classify the quality of chicken eggs with an accuracy rate of 94%. The performance of the system in classifying egg quality is very sufficient.

The advent of the 6G era aims for ubiquitous connectivity, with the integration of non-terrestrial networks (NTN) offering extensive coverage and enhanced capacity. As manufacturing advances and user demands evolve, space-air-ground integrated networks (SAGIN) with computational capabilities emerge as a viable solution for services requiring low latency and high computational power. Resource management within joint communication and computing-embedded SAGIN (JCC-SAGIN) presents greater complexity than traditional terrestrial networks. This complexity arises from the spatiotemporal dynamics of network topology and service demand, the interdependency of large-scale resource variables, and intricate tradeoffs among various performance metrics. Thus, a thorough examination of resource management strategies in JCC-SAGIN is crucial, emphasizing the role of non-terrestrial platforms with processing capabilities in 6G. This paper begins by reviewing the architecture, enabling technologies, and applications in JCC-SAGIN. Then, we offer a detailed overview of resource management modeling and optimization methods, encompassing both traditional optimization approaches and learning-based intelligent decision-making frameworks. The utilization of technology only aims to be fast, precise, and accurate in each implementation and find a better solution at that time in several sectors. This study aims to identify the use of Global Positioning technology (GPS) technology to track the position of the motor sailing yachts, specifically with the features used on a device or smart-phone during a trip or expedition. This research uses a type of applied research to solve problems that are faced clearly, and the results can be used as a basis for solving corrective steps. The results found that GPS-technology on motor sailing yachts in "Pelayaran Rakyat"maritime can receive coordinates point and then send these coordinates to the vessel-tracking systems to determine the position of the motor sailing yachts between users. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Knowledge graph embedding (KGE) constitutes a foundational task, directed towards learning representations for entities and relations within knowledge graphs (KGs), with the objective of crafting representations comprehensive enough to approximate the logical and symbolic interconnections among entities. In this paper, we define a metric Z-counts to measure the difficulty of training each triple () in KGs with theoretical analysis. Based on this metric, we propose CL4KGE, an efficient Curriculum Learning based training strategy for KGE. This method includes a difficulty measurer and a training scheduler that aids in the training of KGE models. Our approach possesses the flexibility to act as a plugin within a wide range of KGE models, with the added advantage of adaptability to the majority of KGs in existence. The proposed method has been evaluated on popular KGE models, and the results demonstrate that it enhances the state-of-the-art methods. The use of Z-counts as a metric has enabled the identification of challenging triples in KGs, which helps in devising effective training strategies. © 2024, CC BY.
