Efficiency of calculating a dynamic response is an important point of the compliant mechanism for posture *** modeling with low orders of a 2R1T compliant parallel mechanism is studied in the *** mechanism with two out-of-plane rotational and one lifting degrees of freedom(DoFs)plays an important role in posture *** on elastic beam theory,the stiffness matrix and mass matrix of the beam element are established where the moment of inertia is *** improve solving efficiency,a dynamic model with low orders of the mechanism is established based on a modified modal synthesis ***,each branch of the RPR type mechanism is divided into a ***,a set of hypothetical modes of each substructure is obtained based on the C-B ***,dynamic equation of the whole mechanism is established by the substructure assembly.A dynamic experiment is conducted to verify the dynamic characteristics of the compliant mechanism.

In this paper,Index Modulation(IM)aided Generalized Space-Time Block Coding(GSTBC)is proposed,which intrinsically exploits the benefits of IM concept,diversity gain and spatial multiplexing ***,the information bits are partitioned into U groups,with each being modulated by IM symbols(*** Modulation(SM),Quadrature SM(QSM),etc).Next,the structure of GSTBC is invoked for each K IM symbol,and a total ofμ=U/K GSTBC codes are transmitted via T time slots.A Block Expectation Propagation(B-EP)detector is designed for the proposed IM-GSTBC ***,the theoretical Average Bit Error Probability(ABEP)is derived for our IM-GSTBC system,which is confirmed by the simulation results and helpful for performance *** results show that our proposed IM-GSTBC system is capable of striking an efficient trade-off between spatial multiplexing gain,spatial diversity gain as well as implementation cost imposed for both small-scale and large-scale MIMO antenna configurations.

The utilization of sustainable resources provides a path to relieving the problem of dependence on fossil resources. In this context, biomass materials have become a feasible substitute for petroleum-based materials. The development of biomass materials is booming and advanced biomass materials with various functional properties are used in many fields including medicine, electrochemistry, and environmental science. In recent years, ionic liquids have been widely used in biomass pretreatments and processing owing to their “green” characteristics and adjustable physicochemical properties. Thus, the effects of ionic liquids in biomass materials generation require further study. This review summarizes the multiple roles of ionic liquids in promoting the synthesis and application of advanced biomass materials as solvents, structural components, and modifiers. Finally, a prospective approach is proposed for producing additional higher-quality possibilities between ionic liquids and advanced biomass materials.

Fine classification of rice paddy using multitemporal compact polarimetric SAR C band data based on machine learning methods

Rice is an important food crop for human *** distinguishing different varieties and sowing methods of rice on a large scale can provide more accurate information for rice growth monitoring,yield estimation,and phenological monitoring,which has significance for the development of modern *** polarimetric(CP)synthetic aperture radar(SAR)provides multichannel information and shows great potential for rice monitoring and ***,the use of machine learning methods to build classification models is a controversial *** this paper,the advantages of CP SAR data,the powerful learning ability of machine learning,and the important factors of the rice growth cycle were taken into account to achieve high-precision and fine classification of rice ***,CP SAR data were simulated by using the seven temporal RADARSAT-2 C-band data ***,20-two CP SAR parameters were extracted from each of the seven temporal CP SAR data *** addition,we fully considered the change degree of CP SAR parameters on a time scale(ΔCP_(DoY)).Six machine learning methods were employed to carry out the fine classification of rice *** results show that the classification methods of machine learning based on multitemporal CP SAR data can obtain better results in the fine classification of rice paddies by considering the parameters ofΔCP_(DoY).The overall accuracy is greater than 95.05%,and the Kappa coefficient is greater than *** them,the random forest(RF)and support vector machine(SVM)achieve the best results,with an overall accuracy reaching 97.32%and 97.37%,respectively,and Kappa coefficient values reaching 0.965 and 0.966,*** the two types of rice paddies,the average accuracy of the transplant hybrid(T-H)rice paddy is greater than 90.64%,and the highest accuracy is 95.95%.The average accuracy of direct-sown japonica(D-J)rice paddy is greater than 92.57%,and the highest accuracy is 96.13%.

Automatically generating a brief summary for legal-related public opinion news(LPO-news,which contains legal words or phrases)plays an important role in rapid and effective public opinion *** LPO-news,the critical case elements which are significant parts of the summary may be mentioned several times in the reader ***,we investigate the task of comment-aware abstractive text summarization for LPO-news,which can generate salient summary by learning pivotal case elements from the reader *** this paper,we present a hierarchical comment-aware encoder(HCAE),which contains four components:1)a traditional sequenceto-sequence framework as our baseline;2)a selective denoising module to filter the noisy of comments and distinguish the case elements;3)a merge module by coupling the source article and comments to yield comment-aware context representation;4)a recoding module to capture the interaction among the source article words conditioned on the *** experiments are conducted on a large dataset of legal public opinion news collected from micro-blog,and results show that the proposed model outperforms several existing state-of-the-art baseline models under the ROUGE metrics.

The Bloch band theory and Brillouin zone(BZ)that characterize wave-like behaviors in periodic mediums are two cornerstones of contemporary physics,ranging from condensed matter to topological *** theoretical breakthrough revealed that,under the projective symmetry algebra enforced by artificial gauge fields,the usual two-dimensional(2D)BZ(orientable Brillouin two-torus)can be fundamentally modified to a non-orientable Brillouin Klein bottle with radically distinct manifold ***,the physical consequence of artificial gauge fields on the more general three-dimensional(3D)BZ(orientable Brillouin three-torus)was so far ***,we theoretically discovered and experimentally observed that the fundamental domain and topology of the usual 3D BZ can be reduced to a non-orientable Brillouin Klein space or an orientable Brillouin half-turn space in a 3D acoustic crystal with artificial gauge *** experimentally identify peculiar 3D momentum-space non-symmorphic screw rotation and glide reflection symmetries in the measured band ***,we experimentally demonstrate a novel stacked weak Klein bottle insulator featuring a nonzero Z2 topological invariant and self-collimated topological surface states at two opposite surfaces related by a nonlocal twist,radically distinct from all previous 3D topological *** discovery not only fundamentally modifies the fundamental domain and topology of 3D BZ,but also opens the door towards a wealth of previously overlooked momentum-space multidimensional manifold topologies and novel gaugesymmetry-enriched topological physics and robust acoustic wave manipulations beyond the existing paradigms.

Dielectric barrier discharges(DBDs)are primarily utilized as efficient sources of large-volume diffuse ***,the synergistic interaction of certain key plasma factors limits their broader *** the present paper,we report numerical investigations of the effects of voltage amplitude in dual-frequency excitation on atmospheric DBDs using a 50 kHz/5 MHz frequency *** results indicate that varying the voltages for low frequency(LF)and radio frequency(RF)significantly influences the electron dynamics during discharge,resulting in distinct spatio-temporal distributions of electron and metastable particle *** findings contribute to the regulation of discharges under atmospheric pressure conditions and facilitate the attainment of non-equilibrium and nonlinear plasma parameters.

Physics-Based Predictions of the Month-by-Month Summer Western North Pacific Anomalous Anticyclone

This study identified the distinct predictors of the western North Pacific anomalous anticyclone (WNPAC) in June, July, and August and revealed their independent influencing mechanisms on the formation of the summer WNPAC in each corresponding month. For the June WNPAC (AC_Jun), the North Atlantic warming (NAW) in April–May induces subsequently enhanced convection over the Indian Ocean and suppressed the convection over the tropical central Pacific, leading to AC_Jun via the Gill-type response. Meanwhile, the warming tendency over the western North Pacific from February to April, which reflects the slow decay of El Niño, results in AC_Jun through Indian Ocean warming. For the July WNPAC (AC_Jul), the cooling tendency from April to June over the central and eastern tropical Pacific is the sole predictor, which results in AC_Jul through the wind–evaporation–SST feedback. For the August WNPAC (AC_Aug), the tropical Atlantic warming (TAW) in June and July and the Bering Strait sea ice slow melting (BSSM) from April to May are the two predictors. While TAW has a similar influence on AC_Aug to that of NAW on AC_Jun, BSSM makes for AC_Aug by strengthening the westerly jet and subsequently atmosphere–ocean coupling over the North Pacific. Using these predictors, three physics-based empirical models (PEMs) for the seasonal predictions of AC_Jun, AC_Jul, and AC_Aug are conducted, which all outperform the National Centers for Environmental Prediction Climate Forecast system (CFS), shedding light on improving the seasonal prediction of the East Asian summer climate. © 2025 American Meteorological Society.

In this study,a novel Bi_(2)S_(3)/BiOI Z-scheme photocatalyst with 3D porous hierarchical network-like heterostructure(BSBI NHs)and rich oxygen vacancies(OVs)was fabricated by a facile ion exchange method followed by the in-situ growth process.A possible formation mechanism of BSBI NHs was studied,showing the self-assembled process of in-situ interwoven growth of 1D Bi_(2)S_(3) nanorods(NRs)on the surface of 2D BiOI disk-like nanoplates(NPs),which followed the Ostwald ripening and epitaxial *** modification of BiOI NPs by Bi_(2)S_(3) NRs brought about the formation of Z-scheme heterojunction and massive OVs,which improved the visible-light response property and promoted the separation of photoexcited charge carriers of BSBI *** NHs exhibited a significantly enhanced photocatalytic activity compared with Bi_(2)S_(3) and BiOI,and BSBI-1 can remove almost all bacteria and Rhodamine B(RhB)after 60 min visible light *** addition,the photocatalytic mechanism was studied and speculated based on the tests of active species capture,electron spin resonance(ESR),and density functional theory(DFT)simulation calculation,proving the primary roles of·OH,·O_(2)^(-)and h^(+)during the photocatalytic *** work provides new insights into the design and exploitation of novel heterojunctions with highly efficient photocatalytic performances for environmental remediation applications.
