To improve the operation success rate, the steerable catheter is theoretically significant and practically valuable to design. However, it is still difficult for most existing catheters to realize this function. In this paper, to steer the catheter head, a novel spring-based tendon-drive structure was proposed with a diameter of 1.5mm. To obtain precise tip poses, based on the local force analysis, it is demonstrated that the contact force at each point between the tendon and spring is equal. And under the premise of frictionless, the curvature at each point of the tendon is equal, which is only related to the tension of the tendon. Then the proposed structure is simplified to a cantilever beam only subjected to bending moment. And the deformation of the catheter tip with the control parameters is expressed. Finally, the experimental setup is established and the experimental results showed that the proposed spring-based tendon-driven catheter deflected in a circular. And the results justified the feasibility of the cantilever beam assumption and the correctness of the deformation formulas. The proposed tendon-driven catheter has the potential in improving the success rate of the vascular approach and operation safety. © 2023 IEEE.

Along with the constantly evolving functional microsystems toward more diversification,the more rigorous design deliberation of pursuing higher mass-loading of electrode materials and low-temperature fabrication compatibility have imposed unprecedented demand on integrable all-solid-state thin-film *** the classic thin-film intercalation cathode prepared by vacuum-based techniques inevitably encountered a post-annealing process,tape-casting technologies hold great merits both in terms of high-mass loading and low-temperature *** this work,a novel microbattery configura-tion is developed by the combination of traditional tape-casting thick electrodes and sputtered inorganic thin-film solid electrolytes(~3μm lithium phosphorus oxynitride).Enabled by physically pressed or vapor-deposited Li as an anode,solid-state batteries with tape-casted LiFePO_(4) electrodes exhibit outstanding cyclability and *** meet integration requirements,LiFePO4/LiPON/Si microbatteries were successfully fabricated at low temperatures and found to achieve a wide operating temperature *** novel configuration has good prospects in promoting the thin-film microbattery enabling a paradigm shift and satisfying diversified requirements.

In recent years, with the increasing number of stroke patients, master-slave telerehabilitation has become one of the research hotspots in the field of rehabilitation. However, when estimating the angle of the main end, the angle estimation model is difficult to be widely applicable due to the different muscle tension of the physiotherapist itself. During remote rehabilitation training, it is difficult for physical therapists to obtain the damage of the affected limb, so it is difficult to arrange appropriate training intensity and training volume, which affects the effect of remote rehabilitation to a certain extent. To address these issues, this paper proposes a novel master-slave rehabilitation system. The therapist obtains his own muscle tension level a priori through FSR402, and jointly estimates the movement angle through the (Surface Electromyography) sEMG signal collected by MYO, so as to control the slave end. While following the rehabilitation training, the patient at the slave end reflects real-time muscle force of the affected limb and the true feeling of the movement to the master end through the muscle tension measurement arm cuff and the relevant buttons on the PC end. The overall system realizes data transmission through (User Datagram Protocol) UDP, so as to realize more secure and personalized master-slave control. The experiment proves that the new master-slave rehabilitation system is real and feasible. © 2023 IEEE.

As the digital landscape continues to evolve through the widespread use of software, understanding how users interact with software becomes increasingly important. This article presents the findings of a literature review that explores the use of Electroencephalography (EEG) signals to assess user interfaces, user experience, and/or software usability. We used the mapping review method in this research with the main stages including: 1) Establishing research questions;2) Source selection;3) Identifying keywords;4) Carrying out a screening process;and 5) Extracting and synthesizing data. As a result, we determined 16 relevant papers as primary sources. We highlight the distribution of papers from various databases and their suitability for the period January 2013 to May 2023. In addition, we find that traditional EEG devices, standard five frequency bands, 32 electrodes, signal classification techniques such as Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA), Frequency Fourier Transform (FFT), and Power Spectrum Density (PSD), gaming software as research subjects, and user experience evaluation questionnaires are most widely used in research practice. The results of this literature review provide comprehensive insight into the latest developments in the use of EEG signals to evaluate software in terms of the field of Human-Computer Interaction, to reduce the factors of subjectivity, bias, efficiency, and accuracy of evaluation results. These insights can serve as a basis for further research and the development of more effective methods and tools for improving software quality. © 2023 IEEE.

Recently, mega satellite constellations are very popular for global instant messaging, and inter-satellite links are planned for delay reduction, leading to satellite network architecture finally. Although there are many satellite orbit simulation tools (e.g. STK, Savi) and network simulation tool (e.g. NS2/3, OPNET, Mininet, SNS3), none of them gives good consideration to both. In this paper, a satellite network and orbit integrated simulation platform (Mini-Savi) is proposed for large scale satellite constellation, which is based on the combination of network simulation tool Mininet and orbit simulation tool Savi. Finally, a typical satellite constellation Iridium system is employed for simulation verification. © 2023 IEEE.

Impact of Revised Trigger and Closure of the Double-Plume Convective Parameterization on Precipitation Simulations over East Asia

A double-plume convective parameterization scheme is revised to improve the precipitation simulation of a global model(Global-to-Regional Integrated Forecast system;GRIST).The improvement is achieved by considering the effects of large-scale dynamic processes on the trigger of deep *** closure,based on dynamic CAPE,is improved accordingly to allow other processes to consume CAPE under the more restricted convective trigger *** revised convective parameterization is evaluated with a variable-resolution model setup(110–35 km,refined over East Asia).The Atmospheric Model Intercomparison Project(AMIP)simulations demonstrate that the revised convective parameterization substantially delays the daytime precipitation peaks over most land areas,leading to an improved simulated diurnal cycle,evidenced by delayed and less frequent afternoon ***,changes to the threshold of the trigger function yield a small impact on the diurnal amplitude of precipitation because of the consistent setting of dCAPE-based trigger and *** simulated mean precipitation remains reasonable,with some improvements evident along the southern slopes of the Tibetan *** revised scheme increases convective precipitation at the lower levels of the windward slope and reduces the large-scale precipitation over the upper slope,ultimately shifting the rainfall peak southward,which is in better agreement with the observations.

The photocatalytic oxidative coupling of thiols is one of the most popular methods to synthesize the *** and its derivatives(TPAs)are promising for the above reaction,but suffer from the easy polymerization and difficult *** overcome these obstacles while controlling the photogenerated electrons transfer directly to target substrates,herein,we constructed one TPA-based metal-organic framework(MOF),(Me_(2)NH_(2))[Sr(TCBPA)]·DMA·3H_(2)O(1),by direct self-assembly of tris(4′-carboxybiphenyl)amine(H_(3)TCBPA)and photoredox inert strontium ion(Sr^(2+)).DFT calculations revealed that the valence band maximum(VBM)and the conduction band minimum(CBM)are mainly located on TCBPA^(3-),successfully inhibiting the undesirable electron migration to metal *** results indicated that 1 displays superior performance than homogeneous H_(3)TCBPA,which may result from the abundant π…π and C—H…π interactions between the well-arranged TCBPA^(3-)and the build-in electric field between the anionic framework and the Me_(2)NH^(2+).This work highlights that immobilizing TPAs into MOFs is one promising approach to designing heterogeneous photocatalysts for the synthesis of disulfides by oxidative coupling of thiols.

Faced with the increase in upper limb hemiplegia caused by stroke, robotic exoskeleton-assisted home-based telerehabilitation has attracted increasing attention in recent years. Telerehabilitation is a viable alternative to traditional face-to-face rehabilitation training, which has many advantages. In this paper, a preliminary therapist-in-the-loop haptic-enable telerehabilitation system for upper limb training is presented. In the telerehabilitation system, a high-definition haptic device manipulated by the operator (served as the therapist) is the master side, and the designed upper limb rehabilitation exoskeleton worn by the subject (served as the stroke patient) is the slave side. The master-slave side realizes the operation and force data transmission through TCP/IP communication protocol. Through experiments, the angle error and time delay are analyzed, which proves the usability of the constructed system and lays the foundation for the subsequent research. © 2023 IEEE.

Blockchain platform Ethereum has involved millions of accounts due to its strong potential for providing numerous services based on smart *** massive accounts can be divided into diverse categories,such as miners,tokens,and exchanges,which is termed as account diversity in this *** benefit of investigating diversity are multi-fold,including understanding the Ethereum ecosystem deeper and opening the possibility of tracking certain abnormal ***,the exploration of blockchain account diversity remains *** the most relevant studies,which focus on the deanonymization of the accounts on Bitcoin,can hardly be applied on Ethereum since their underlying protocols and user idioms are *** this end,we present the first attempt to demystify the account diversity on *** key observation is that different accounts exhibit diverse behavior patterns,leading us to propose the heuristics for classification as the *** then raise the coverage rate of classification by the statistical learning model Maximum Likelihood Estimation(MLE).We collect real-world data through extensive efforts to evaluate our proposed method and show its ***,we make an in-depth analysis of the dynamic evolution of the Ethereum ecosystem and uncover the abnormal arbitrage *** for the former,we validate two sweeping statements reliably:(1)standalone miners are gradually replaced by the mining pools and cooperative miners;(2)transactions related to the mining pool and exchanges take up a large share of the total *** latter analysis shows that there are a large number of arbitrage transactions transferring the coins from one exchange to another to make a price difference.
