Microscopic origin and relevant grain size effect of discontinuous grain growth in BaTiO_(3)-based ferroelectric ceramics

Barium titanate[BaTiO_(3)(BT)]-based ceramics are typical ferroelectric ***,the discontinuous grain growth(DGG)and relevant grain size effect are deeply *** obvious DGG phenomenon is observed in a paradigmatic Zr^(4+)-doped BT-based ceramic,with grains growing from∼2.2–6.6 to∼121.8–198.4μm discontinuously near 1320℃.It is found that fine grains can get together and grow into large ones with liquid phase surrounding them above eutectic *** the grain boundary density(D g)is quantitatively studied and shows a first-order reciprocal relationship with grain size,and the grain size effect is dependent on D *** grains lead to high D g,and then cause fine domains and pseudocubic-like phase structure because of the interrupted long-range ferroelectric orders by grain *** D g also causes the diffusion phase transition and low Curie dielectric peak due to the distribution of phase transition temperature induced by internal *** domain switching experiments reveal that the polarization orientation is more difficult near the grain boundary,implying that the grain boundary inhibition dominates the process of polarization orientation in fine-grain ceramics,which leads to low polarization but a high coercive ***,large-grain ceramics exhibit easy domain switching and high&similar *** work reveals that the grain boundary effect dominates the grain size effect in fine-grain ceramics,and expands current knowledge on DGG and grain size effect in polycrystalline materials.

The underwater wireless optical communication(UWOC)system has gradually become essential to underwater wireless communication *** other existing works on UWOC systems,this paper evaluates the proposed machine learningbased signal demodulation methods through the selfbuilt experimental *** on such a platform,we first construct a real signal dataset with ten modulation ***,we propose a deep belief network(DBN)-based demodulator for feature extraction and multi-class feature *** also design an adaptive boosting(Ada Boost)demodulator as an alternative scheme without feature filtering for multiple modulated ***,it is demonstrated by extensive experimental results that the Ada Boost demodulator significantly outperforms the other *** also reveals that the demodulator accuracy decreases as the modulation order increases for a fixed received optical power.A higher-order modulation may achieve a higher effective transmission rate when the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)is higher.

This paper investigates the problem of dynamic event-triggered platoon control for intelligent vehicles (IVs) under denial of service (DoS) attacks and parameter uncertainty. DoS attacks disrupt vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications, leading to the destabilization of vehicle formations. To alleviate the burden of the V2V communication network and enhance the tracking performance in the presence of DoS attacks and parameter uncertainty, a resilient and dynamic event-triggered mechanism is proposed. In contrast to the static event-triggering mechanism (STEM), this approach leverages the internal dynamic variable to further save communication resources. Subsequently, a method is developed for designing the desired triggering mechanism. Following this, a co-design framework is constructed to guarantee robust and resilient control against DoS attacks, with the analysis of eliminating Zeno behavior. Lastly, extensive simulations are presented to show the superiority of the proposed method in terms of enhancing platoon resilience and robustness and improving communication efficiency. IEEE

Narrowband photodetectors as specific spectral sensing pixels have drawn intense attention in multispectral detection due to their distinct characteristic of filter-free spectrum discrimination,in which the emerging halide lead perovskites witness a booming development in their performance and wavelength-selectivity from blue to near-infrared ***,the challenge in integrating perovskite narrowband photodetectors on one chip imposes an impediment on practical *** this work,the combination of laser-direct-writing and ion exchange is proposed as an efficient way to fabricate high-definition colorful sensing array with perovskite narrowband photodetector unit as *** laser irradiation,the photolysis of halocarbon solvent(CHCl_(3),CH_(3)CH_(2)I,etc)releases the halide ions,which brings the ion exchange and gives rise to slow-varying bandgap in single perovskite photoactive *** ion exchange can be controlled via laser irradiation time and focus point,thus enabling precisely engineerable *** optimizing the process,it is successfully applied to develop patterned perovskite narrow blue and green photodetectors array with a high-definition of~53 *** believe this result will make a great step forward to integrate multifunctional perovskite devices on one chip,which will pave the way for perovskite optoelectronic device to the commercial application.

High-Dimensional Multi-Label Data Stream Classification With Concept Drifting Detection

Multi-label data streams such as Web texts and images have been popular on the Web. These data present the characteristics of multiple label, high dimensionality, high volume, high velocity and especial concept drift etc. Thus, multi-label data stream classification is a very challenging and significant task especially in the handling of high-dimensional data with concept drifts. However, this challenge has received little attention from the research community. Therefore, we propose the max-relevance and min-redundancy based algorithm adaptation approach for the efficient and effective classification on multi-label data streams with high-dimensional attributes and concept drifts. In order to reduce the impact from the high-dimensional data with noisy attributes, we first refine the minimal-redundancy-maximal-relevance criterion based on mutual information to select qualified features in multi-label data streams. Second, we propose the data distribution based concept drifting detection approach to distinguish concept drifts hidden in data streams. Finally, we build an incremental ensemble classification model for efficiently classifying multi-label data streams. Extensive studies show that our approach can get optimal subsets of features while maintaining a good performance in the multi-label classification, as compared to several state-of-the-art multi-label feature selection algorithms using two efficient multi-label classification methods as base classifiers. Meanwhile, our approach is superior to three well-known multi-label data stream classification approaches in the effectiveness and efficiency. © 1989-2012 IEEE.

Early detection of lithium battery leakage using a highly sensitive in situ ZIF-8 membrane-coated micro-nano optical fibre

Detecting electrolyte leakage is an effective early warning approach for abnormal faults in lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)and can help mitigate safety risks such as fires and ***,detecting electrolyte leakage in the early stages of LIB faults presents a significant challenge,as leaks in LIBs produce volatile organic compounds(VOCs)at parts per million levels that are difficult to detect using conventional VOC ***,an effective LIB VOC sensor using micro-nano optical fibres(MNFs)has been developed for the first time,coated with an in situ self-assembled zeolitic imidazolate framework-8(ZIF-8)membrane as an electrolyte-sensitive *** abundance of pores in ZIF-8 is excellent for adsorbing a variety of VOCs,including diethyl carbonate,ethyl methyl carbonate,dimethyl carbonate,and propylene *** MNFs possess high refractive index sensitivity,enhancing the online monitoring of *** with a diameter of approximately 7μm were assembled with four-cycle ZIF-8 of approximately 500 nm thickness,as the fabricated *** wavelength demodulation,the LIB sensor demonstrated high sensitivity,detecting 43.6 pm/ppm of VOCs and exhibiting rapid response and recovery times of typically within 10 min and 23 s,respectively,as well as a low theoretical detection limit of 2.65 ppm for dimethyl carbonate vapor with excellent *** first on-site verification of online LIB leakage monitoring demonstrated that the sensor achieved a 35 h early warning prior to full-load leakage,thus exhibiting promising prospects for applications in scenarios such as car batteries.

Pre-trained language model-based methods for Chinese Grammatical Error Correction (CGEC) are categorized into Seq2Seq and Seq2Edit types. However, both Seq2Seq and Seq2Edit models depend on high-quality training data significantly. Considering the strong generation and inference ability of large language models (LLMs), we propose a large language model-guided optimization training method to exploit LLMs to extract error knowledge to optimize the traditional CGEC model training process. On the one hand, we use error types and confusion sets as extra knowledge to guide LLMs to generate diverse pseudo data, thus extending the error distribution of our training data. On the other hand, LLMs are utilized to infer the predicted results from our CGEC models and obtain the re-training data, thus iteratively optimizing our pre-trained CGEC models. Experiments on two benchmark datasets show that our LLMs-guided optimization method with small-scale training data can achieve comparable results with baseline models with large-scale training data. Detailed comparison experiments demonstrate that both the early deviser pseudo data and the later re-training data are extremely useful for traditional CGEC model optimization training, and can benefit from each other. With the increasing impacts of climate change and resource depletion,dielectric capacitors,with their exceptional stability,fast charging and discharging rates,and ability to operate under more extreme conditions,are emerging as promising high-demand candidates for high-performance energy storage devices,distinguishing them from traditional electrochemical capacitors and ***,due to the shortcomings of various dielectric ceramics(e.g.,paraelectrics(PEs),ferroelectrics(FEs),and antiferroelectrics(AFEs)),their low polarizability,low breakdown strength(BDS),and large hysteresis loss limit their standalone use in the advancement of energy storage ***,synthesizing novel perovskite-based materials that exhibit high energy density,high energy efficiency,and low loss is crucial for achieving superior energy storage *** this review,we outline the recent development of perovskitebased ferroelectric energy storage ceramics from the perspective of combinatorial optimization for tailoring ferroelectric hysteresis loops and comprehensively discuss the properties arising from the different combinations of *** also provide future guidelines in this ***,the combinatorial optimization strategy in this review will open up a practical route toward the application of new high-performance ferroelectric energy storage devices.

A statistical study on the correlation between sporadic Ca+layer and Es in Beijing(40.5°N,116°E)

From April 2020 to June 2022,a Ca+lidar with dual-wavelength and narrow-band emitting lasers utilizing all-solid-state technology was employed to conduct observations in Beijing(40.41°N,116.01°E)for a total duration of 1797.79 hours over 280 nights.A total of 286 sporadic Ca+layers were observed,with heights ranging from 88 to 120 km and densities varying from 5.33 to 2200 cm^(-3).We simultaneously observed the ionosonde,located 28 km from the lidar,and found a correlation of 61.89%between the sporadic Ca+layer and the sporadic E *** the sporadic Ca+layer has a downward phase trend,there is a correlation of 76.84%.By excluding the influence of ionosonde sensitivity,we focus only on calcium ions that have a density exceeding 140 cm^(-3),which exhibit a correlation of82.25%.Above 100 km,the correlation significantly increases,reaching approximately 90%.Furthermore,the correlation between the sporadic Ca+layer and the sporadic E layer is particularly noticeable during the summer season,reaching around 90%.This phenomenon can be attributed to the variations in metal ions that occur during different seasons.
