Complementary charge islands structure for a high voltage device of partial-SOI

A new partial-SOI （PSOI） high voltage device structure named CNCI PSOI （complementary n＋-charge islands PSOI） is proposed. CNCI PSOI is characterized by equidistant high concentration n＋-regions on the top and bottom interfaces of a dielectric buried layer of a PSOI device. When a high voltage is applied to the device, complementary holes and electron islands are formed on the two n＋-regions on the top and bottom interfaces, therefore effectively enhancing the electric field of the dielectric buried layer （E1 and increasing the breakdown voltage （BV）, alleviating the self-heating effect （SHE） by the silicon window under the source. An analytical model of the vertical interface electric field for the CNCI PSOI is presented and the analytical results are in good agreement with the 2D simulation results. BV and EI of the CNCI PSOI LDMOS increase to 5 91 V and 512 V/μm from 216 V and 81.4 Vμm of the conventional PSOI with a lower SHE, respectively. The influence of structure parameters on the device characteristics is analyzed for the proposed device in detail.

Privacy Preserving Distributed Bandit Residual Feedback Online Optimization Over Time-Varying Unbalanced Graphs

This paper considers the distributed online optimization(DOO) problem over time-varying unbalanced networks, where gradient information is explicitly unknown. To address this issue, a privacy-preserving distributed online one-point residual feedback(OPRF) optimization algorithm is proposed. This algorithm updates decision variables by leveraging one-point residual feedback to estimate the true gradient information. It can achieve the same performance as the two-point feedback scheme while only requiring a single function value query per iteration. Additionally, it effectively eliminates the effect of time-varying unbalanced graphs by dynamically constructing row stochastic matrices. Furthermore, compared to other distributed optimization algorithms that only consider explicitly unknown cost functions, this paper also addresses the issue of privacy information leakage of nodes. Theoretical analysis demonstrate that the method attains sublinear regret while protecting the privacy information of agents. Finally, numerical experiments on distributed collaborative localization problem and federated learning confirm the effectiveness of the algorithm.

Membrane distillation(MD)utilizing low-grade thermal energy can be used to effectively desalinate hypersaline brines with a high freshwater recovery for water *** flux and durability are the two main indices used to evaluate MD membrane *** the past decade,electrospun nanofibrous distillation membranes(EFDMs)with a low mass transfer resistance have garnered increasing attention in MD research,owing to their high porosity and interconnected-pore ***,on the one hand,the pores of EFDMs compared to those of phase-inversion membranes are easily deformed and impacted by water flow,reducing membrane flux;on the other hand,the general hydrophobic interface is susceptible to being wetted,fouled and scaled during the desalination/concentration process,resulting in MD *** review will present a comprehensive discussion of the recent progress in electrospun nanofibers for the MD of hypersaline wastewaters with a focus on designing specially wettable membrane interfaces and welding-pore structured membranes to enhance MD distillation efficiency and durability ***,the challenges and perspectives of MD in treating hypersaline wastewaters are also provided as a guide for future research on sustainable and clean freshwater recovery.

Rethinking Generalizable Infrared Small Target Detection: A Real-scene Benchmark and Cross-view Representation Learning

Infrared small target detection (ISTD) is highly sensitive to sensor type, observation conditions, and the intrinsic properties of the target. These factors can introduce substantial variations in the distribution of acquired infrared image data, a phenomenon known as domain shift. Such distribution discrepancies significantly hinder the generalization capability of ISTD models across diverse scenarios. To tackle this challenge, this paper introduces an ISTD framework enhanced by domain adaptation. To alleviate distribution shift between datasets and achieve cross-sample alignment, we introduce Cross-view Channel Alignment (CCA). Additionally, we propose the Cross-view Top-K Fusion strategy, which integrates target information with diverse background features, enhancing the model’s ability to extract critical data characteristics. To further mitigate the impact of noise on ISTD, we develop a Noise-guided Representation learning strategy. This approach enables the model to learn more noise-resistant feature representations, to improve its generalization capability across diverse noisy domains. Finally, we develope a dedicated infrared small target dataset, RealScene-ISTD. Compared to state-of-the-art methods, our approach demonstrates superior performance in terms of detection probability (Pd), false alarm rate (Fa), and intersection over union (IoU). Electromagnetic countermeasure (ECM) is of extreme importance in modern warfare. In order to confront the threat of radar-net, cooperative jamming platform with multiple jammers is the main approach. A proper allocation of jamming resource is required before and during the process of interference. This paper proposes an artificial bee colony (ABC) based jamming resource allocation (JRA) algorithm with few parameter adjustments. The allocation strategy is encoded in integer to better handle the constraints of JRA problem. Furthermore, a genetic algorithm (GA) inspired solution update method is introduced in stages of algorithm to accelerate the convergence rate. Simulation result shows that the proposed algorithm has a better performance in both rate and precision of convergence compared with tabu search artificial bee colony algorithm (TSABC) and ant colony optimization algorithm (ACO), which were adopted in previous related studies. ©2021 IEEE

Image segmentation generally refers to partitioning of an image into a set of regions that cover it. It has been believed that these regions may represent meaningful areas of the image, such as buildings, roads, forests, crops, animals and so on. The regions are usually composed of sets of pixels with similar colors. For interesting targets in the foreground, the regions may even take the forms of particular shapes, such as circles, eclipse or rectangles. Inspired from the concept of image segmentation above, it’s interesting to further explore the relationship of segments for the targets of interest according to some association rules, i.e., the spatial association. In this way, we could detect objects from the images satisfying the criterion of both the segment and association relationships. For instance, people may probably prefer to query a scenery image complying with a certain style instead of containing a certain object. In this work, we propose an efficient object detection method integrating information of both segmentation and association relationship. Experimental results indicate that our method has more semantic flexibility for image recognition. © 2021 11th International Workshop on Computer science and engineering, WCSE 2021. The Exchange Attack and the Mixture Differential Attack Revisited: From the Perspective of Automatic Evaluation

Recent results show that the differential properties within quadruples boom as a new inspiration in cryptanalysis of Advanced Encryption Standard(AES)-like constructions. These methods include the exchange attack proposed in Asiacrypt'19, the mixture differential attack proposed in To SC'18, etc., where the essential properties are obtained by manually scrutinizing the structures of the AES-like constructions. This paper presents a novel framework and an automatic tool based on mixed integer linear programming to search for mixture differential distinguishers for general constructions. This framework considers what equality patterns among quadruples can make a distinguisher and traces how the patterns propagate through cipher components with accurate probability *** this tool, a 5-round AES distinguishing attack with lower complexity and more 6-round distinguishing attacks in the chosen plaintext scenarios are deduced. We prove that no exchange-type or mixture differential distinguisher exists for 7 and above rounds AES if the details of the Sbox and Mix Columns matrix are not taken into account.

Layout graph model for semantic façade reconstruction using laser point clouds

Building façades can feature different patterns depending on the architectural style,function-ality,and size of the buildings;therefore,reconstructing these façades can be *** particular,when semantic façades are reconstructed from point cloud data,uneven point density and noise make it difficult to accurately determine the façade *** inves-tigating façade layouts,Gestalt principles can be applied to cluster visually similar floors and façade elements,allowing for a more intuitive interpretation of façade *** propose a novel model for describing façade structures,namely the layout graph model,which involves a compound graph with two structure *** the proposed model,similar façade elements such as windows are first grouped into clusters.A down-layout graph is then formed using this cluster as a node and by combining intra-and inter-cluster spacings as the ***,a top-layout graph is formed by clustering similar *** extracting relevant parameters from this model,we transform semantic façade reconstruction to an optimization strategy using simulated annealing coupled with Gibbs *** façade point cloud data with different features were selected from three datasets to verify the effectiveness of this *** experimental results show that the proposed method achieves an average accuracy of 86.35%.Owing to its flexibility,the proposed layout graph model can deal with different types of façades and qualities of point cloud data,enabling a more robust and accurate reconstruc-tion of façade models.
